I've been going to the "happy hips" yoga class since it first started, & my body always feels so much better after each and every class. Amanda is so articulate in her instructions that I've actually done classes with my eyes closed! She is also good at giving modifications to those of us who have injuries. I've also started using the salon & spa services & am very happy. The Staff at LBB are a fantastic bunch of people. They always make you feel welcome. I definitely recommend the LBB!

Emily is a fantastic hair dresser who takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers your questions while giving you the color, cut, and style that you've always dreamed of. The rest of her team follows suit with their kindness, professionalism, and friendly personalities. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This location offers it all! A fitness studio with classes for all physical types and endurance: from bootybarre, TRX to yoga! The instructors are amazing and will offer modifications for anyone with injuries or limitations. The salon is full of experienced and amazing hairstylists who are just as spirited as they are talented! Then there are the spa services where you can receive an incredible massage or just schedule your regular wax between your appointments and classes. This place has it all and can be your home away from home!
I absolutely love this place. I had been searching for a new stylist and I found what I was looking for! This salon is beautiful, clean, and the stylists are talented. I won't go anywhere else.
After three years at a traditional gym working with a personal trainer, it was time for something new and that something new was Barre at Local Beauty Barre (fka Strength in Balance.) I was skeptical. Would I get the same or better results doing Barre as I had in a traditional gym setting? The answer is YES! All those traditional work out moves are nicely incorporated into a 55 minute full body work out. I saw results after two weeks. And the best thing, you don't have to think about what you need to work on that day - Becki and Julia take you though it step by step every time.
It's been almost FIVE YEARS and I continue to love the classes and the sore muscles (which are a badge of honor in the Barre world.) In the gym I built muscles lifting weights and using machines. At the Barre my muscles get the same workout without the need for all those machines. The bar, a flex band and a little blue ball (aka little blue ball of death) is all it takes now. Embrace the shake!

I've been coming to the studio for a year now and absolutely love the classes, the instructors, and the environment!!! The classes are tough but extremely rewarding and fun! There's a great variety offered too. You can't find a more friendly staff, who take the time to explain and modify the moves, as well as make all feel welcome in the classes. I leave each class feeling energized and stronger every time. I would highly recommend coming in for the barre, yoga, and Pilates classes, and then spend some time at the spa/salon. Love the facials and blowouts! The pricing and packages are economical. Plus the owners are always putting out different specials to keep old and new clients happy! :) The studio has pretty much become my second home! Can't wait for my next class!!
Amy is a genius hair stylist, and the salon space is vibrant. The sinks are comfortable on your neck and the products they use are top notch. I can't wait for my next visit!
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS SALON!!! My daughter went to get her hair done here for prom and had the stylist Amy. My daughter came home crying and had to completely change the hairdo herself. She showed her stylist multiple pictures of the style she wanted and instead Amy "ran with it" doing something completely different. My daughter told her multiple times she did not like the style but few changes were made. The total came out to 80 dollars which is a complete rip off for a couple of curls and a braid,
considering my daughter doesn't even have shoulder length hair. Price does not match the amount of work done. Over-priced and overrated, we will not be returning.

The studio itself is very nice and conveniently located. When I first started, I never thought I'd be able to keep up and keep at it, but I have! I feel strong and confident, and I'm always looking forward to my next class.
I love this place. The instructors are great. They push you to work hard all well enjoying the class. I love how they have a variety of classes and you can go to more then one a day. The instructors are always looking to learn new things to teach us and always coming up with new ways to challenge us. I would highly suggest going here.
