This place is incredibly filthy and I'm convinced most of the gleaming reviews on here were left by employees.
Great space and easy to use as a traveler. They let you in quickly, leave you alone to get your workout in and don't email the life out of you once you're gone. All very much appreciated by someone who travels a lot and has had a lot of gym "experiences". This one would be where I would work out if I lived in Boise. Thanks for the great experience. And lots of equipment for any type of workout. . . :)
Clean gym, lots of weights and machines downstairs, aerobic fitness equipment upstairs. Medium-sized pool, hot tub, wet and dry saunas and clean locker room.
There is also a dedicated women's workout room upstairs with weights and machines.
I haven't taken any classes (yoga, spin, CrossFit, etc) or done personal training, but all of that is also available throughout the week of you are interested.

Well its September 5th 2017 and they just put in new floors so the gym was impossible to workout at for a week. Thats fine whatever I went somewhere else. Heres the problem.....when I went back in after a week off they had put a new turf flooring in for cross fitters and moved all the equipment. Also fine if they had the room or consulted the members. I dont use all the crossfit stuff or want to hurt my body like that. I just use weights its a gym right? Well now this gym is mostly crossfit. There are 3 areas for it now. I think they should open up there womens only area to everyone now so we can all access the weights there. This place is to crowded now with the additions. Im looking into joining a different gym now unfourtuntley. Please just open a crossfit gym and bring back weights in this gym.
Update 3/14/2019: Who and what members provided feedback for this fuctional area to be built? I was never sent any questionares or surveys? Ok I want more Squat racks or a new roof that doesnt leak. Please put this in the "members" suggestions next time. Like I said me and all the guys I workout with never wanted this. Isnt a roof more important then crossfitters everywhere? On a positive note I will say Erica the Fianance Manager does care. She fixed an issue I had with my member dues.
Nice gym, good equipment, but they've forgotten about the customers. Been a customer for 3+ years, rarely complain when they mess up my billing, friends in town for a wedding, asked for a week pass and they wanted to charge $25. No if, and, or buts. Came to Johnnys fitclub to see how they'd react. Will call back on Monday, talk to a manager, and cancel. Good work building loyalty Axiom.
Organized and clean. I like the redesign of the showers which lets more ventilation get in and out, and I've noticed it got rid of the moldy smell. The workout equipment in the Women's area is very obviously leftover equipment which is not as good as the main gym. Overall a good experience. It seems to be crowded around 5pm.
By far my favorite gym in the Boise area! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, gym has a lot of space. I love that the facility is always clean! If ever you have a question go ask the front desk they will help!

Very clean gym with a friendly and helpful staff. I worked with JV and he helped me out. Will be coming back again and again. If your looking for a gym with a good crew that's open when its convenient for you to workout with an open and friendly vibe. I'm a big guy and looking for a good gym is a nightmare and with my work schedule I never know when my gym time will be so a gym that's open 24hrs has just about everything you need from free weights to cardio galore yeah I'm sold.
Thanks guys.

My favorite gym lately. Good weight section. Good cardio/warm up areas. Pool dry sauna and steam bath are smallish at Park Center loc. Great spin class.
I have heard a lot of mixed reviews about Axiom, but now I'm wondering what people were complaining about. Rob helped me with everything I needed and made the gym accessible. I appreciate him working with me. The facility is great Tom of machines great free weight section. If you need it, they have it. The gym does get packed around certain times, but I would go around 7-11 at night and the was not many people. Thanks Rob and Axiom for a job well done

Great set up. Nice vibe walking in. Locker rooms w/ showers, stretch area, pool, group classes, hot or moist sauna, weights, cardio, etc. They even have a room for "women's weights" for gals that want a more private weight lifting experience.
Jake was amazing! I was only in town for a week and he set me up with a way to use the facilities. Great customer service! All other gyms should take notice :)
If you want a trainer to make fun of you while you are working out with your trainer, who you pay for, then go to Axiom Parkcenter. If you swim, it's great for that and the Manger (Brett) is the nicest human you will ever meet, but if you're serious about training with professionals who care about your workout and don't make fun of you while you're doing a move as you train, DON'T bother. I didn't name names on the trainer, but they know who he is.
Axiom at Parkcenter is an excellent spot to train. Jose V was very helpful in setting me up with a temporary membership while I was in town short term. The facility is on point and the staff is super accommodating.
The 9:30 Monday aqua aerobics is my favorite. It's a little crowded, but that's only because it's so popular.
I will only be in Boise for the next 2 months and Rob was awesome and helped me organize a temporary membership for me! He gave me a full tour of the gym and I really appreciated him explaining everything to me regarding the membership and the gym! After a couple of workout sessions I appreciated how clean and organized all of the workout spaces were. I also appreciated the being able to use the group fitness room (when unoccupied of course) and the women's only workout space as well. Being 5'2 the machines really helped!
Overall I was impressed with the gym space and the equipment provided!
Thanks Rob for hooking it up!

The staff is incredibly helpful and their service is great. The entire facility is clean and well designed. I love the pool and tub. I'd offer up five stars if only it had a suit dryer.
Love this gym. It's 24 hours most days and there is a women center if you prefer to workout without the company of men, it's my personal favorite spot. The equipment is always working and clean. Everyone seems to have a general respect for eachother there, definitely one of the better gyms I have been to
I've been to a lot of gyms and prefer this axiom over most gyms in Idaho. Most of the low reviews I have seen on here are just generally unhappy people that feel the need to complain about everything in life.
It's a great facility, but I was pretty disappointed when they removed all the squat racks. Can completely change some people's workouts. The dumbbells are also the most uncomfortable things to hold as well. They are some weird octagon shape with edges that dig into your hand if it isn't the perfect size. After about 30 minutes of using them, my finger joints are sore to the touch. I've never seen these dumbbells at 10+ gyms I've been too and don't understand who thought they were a good idea.
Despite this, it's a great gym, things are kept clean, and the staff is helpful and friendly. Definitely hope it doesn't keep moving towards a machine based gym though.
Great amount of equipment, they just reconfigured their layout so it flows better. Still gets really crowded especially this early in the year.. Wish they were able to have a better stocked women's room and a cleaner locker room.
This gym is probably the best gym facility around but Axiom does not care about it's members. Their only goal is to recruit as many people as possible then proceed to get as much money out of you as they possibly can. Always read the fine print and always clarify contracts. Also because of their recruiting efforts the gym is pretty much always completely packed. You have to go at like 4am or after 10pm to be able to work out without being shoulder to shoulder with everyone. If I could afford to go back to Anytime Fitness I would. Also they took out a bunch of the free weight equipment. When I joined we had 5 squat racks and now there is only 2 or 3. Good luck getting on one of those.
Technically a member at this point, only been using the gym about a week on a guest pass. Rob was awesome. Super nice, high energy dude. The rest of the staff has been super friendly as well.
It's got everything I need and more.. the only reason I knock a star off is because even at 5:30am is fairly crowded and I've had to alter a workout to wait for something I wanted to use.. I missed this morning, so I'll be venturing in after work during peak hours. Little worried I literally won't be able to get a real workout in, but we'll see.
Equipment is nice, staff is friendly and has gone out of their way to help with anything I needed (even "loaned" me a pair of headphones when I forgot mine.. couldn't pay because my wallet was in the car... so they gave me the headphones and trusted me to come back and pay for them after my workout, which of course I did).
I'll stick around a bit. Probably will only use in early morning though.
7:00am on Sunday was pretty empty though!
Axiom Fitness on Parkway is the friendliest gym. It is bigger than any gym I have used with every imaginable piece of equipment and classes offered. They even have a room full of equipment just for women. Rob H. is so helpful and knowledgeable. I am from California and when I visit Boise I go to the gym with my 95 year Dad who works out 5 days a week at Axiom. I appreciate how the staff treats my Dad like royalty. Often times the girls at the front desk will open the door when he is leaving. The swimming pool is large and clean and has at least 5 lanes. Rob runs a very clean, well operated gym. I highly recommend joining Axiom.
Clean, plenty of machines, open 24hrs Monday till Friday. Has swimming pool. Best gym in boise so far
As of Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, I began my membership at this Axiom Fitness. So far, at least, it is quite a thorough and rewarding experience, with ample, up-to-date/constantly-upgraded workout equipment, clean facilities, spacious areas, and a wonderful, helpful staff. The location is great, too, as it is close to everything important, in SE Boise, on E. Parkcenter Blvd, going towards South Apple Street!
Keep up the great work, Axiom Fitness-Parkcenter!
Basic gym. Fairly good price per month. They really push expensive personal training. Recently remodeled and much of the equipment was unavailable for a week.
Older gym but clean. Staff helpful and friendly. Lots of equipment. Can be crowded at times.
I joined this gym with my partner a few months ago, and have been happy with the service we have gotten. Signing up we spoke to a few people about the contract/deals/contract and also signed up for personal training to kick start our workouts. The contract I had to refer to a few times because I forgot the terms and charges, but everything is very plainly laid out - there are just a lot.
We have worked with two trainers, and have enjoyed working with them both. Doing the partner training we worried about our individual goals being mushed into one, but our trainer has done a great job at balancing our goals and abilities to challenge us both.
Whenever I go to the gym, I get a warm welcome from the front staff as well as a salutation when I leave. I have found the staff at each location friendly and helpful when I have a question.
I also love the classes that are offered- I wish more were available on the weekends and before work, but I know employees need time off too.
I also think the price of my membership is a great deal- as many other places are $50+ monthly.
