Master Kim has done a phenomenal job maintaining excellence in his school. The front desk staff and teachers are all so welcoming, patient and diligent in teaching their culture and helping each student and family succeed. Fantastic job all around!
My son joined the Little Tigers program in April and he was very shy and apprehensive about going to class. The teachers were all very encouraging and over time, my son became more and more confident. He started looking forward to going to class. In 6 months he has almost completed the program (he's very close to getting his red belt). He has grown so much and looks forward to working with all his teachers. This is a fantastic program that I would recommend to anyone looking for a fun, encouraging environment for your children.
Recently moved out of state and had to switch my son to a new school locally. This new location is fine, but Master Lee's school is something we miss and is truly an impressive facility. The masters and teachers in Boise are incredible. Their teaching format is very well organized and intuitive for the kids. They teach proper form and anything questionable tactically is quickly addressed. We very much enjoyed Master Scott and Master Anna's candor as well. They enjoy teaching. While I am sure this new school will be equally great, MLK TKD has placed a high bar to cross.
Everything said by every other reviewer is spot on, so there is no need to restate. Only to say that this school and its staff bring all of their caring and expertise to a level that is deeper and more meaningful than can really be expressed in words. I am very grateful to Master Kim and all his staff for the huge impact they have made in my daughter's life.
My son has been attending Master Lee's in Eagle for just over a year now and is thriving! My husband and I just recently decided to join as well and could not be happier! The Masters are all awesome and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I highly recommend Yong In Master Lee's Tae Kwon Do if you are thinking about signing your child (or yourself) up for martial arts lessons.

They are warm and welcoming with the kids and adults ,and care deeply for what they do. My son has learned so much about Tae Kwon Do, respect, life lessons, and integrity. He is dedicated to the school, and Tae Kwon Do, and has a great respect for his teachers. I honestly believe this would not have occurred at any other school.

What an establishment! The facility is kept clean at all times. The staff is amazing; warm, welcoming, helpful, and caring. Master Kim is an excellent instructor. He treats his students with respect and is able to keep students focussed, interested, on-task, and well-behaved, with ease.

This place is AWESOME!!!!! I always come here for classes and I have improved everything that I didnt have before.And its SUPER SUPER SUUUUPER FUUUUUNNNN!!!!!!!!

We enrolled our son in taekwondo at Master Lee's with hopes of improving his focus, confidence, coordination and discipline. After just a few months in the program we have noticed significant improvements in all of these areas.

I wish I could give 10 stars. They do everything right. Master Kim is amazing. He is firm but caring. The kids listen to him... even kids who might struggle listening to other adults really listen to Master Kim because he commands respect. My outgoing, sometimes challenging 5 year old son started here because we needed help with focus and discipline. My 6 year old daughter started at the same time for opposite reasons, she needed confidence and to find her voice. Both kids have improved in these areas and so much more. It's truly a little gem. We couldn't be happier!

My 5 yr old son has been going for 3 months, the staff are amazing and I am very impressed with classes.
This place is awesome! All the staff are very passionate about what they do and always ready to answer questions. I have been a student here for a few years and will be getting my black belt in October. The curriculum is well organized so you always know what the next step is, the masters are always patient and encouraging. They know every person personally and are really good at making sure each student is getting the attention they need. Currently I do not have children but when I do I plan on sending them here too! I've seen so many little dears who were so shy they could not look you in the eye, now they are the most respectful and confident children I know because of Master Kim and ask the assistant instructors. A friend of mine's child pointed out to me one of his classmates, in tkd and school, who he said use to be a little aggressive at school "but now she is very nice". If you are looking for an activity that is more than just for physical skills this is the best option! It will help developed those physical skills and self defense but also so much more in regards to life skills. It really is a unique and wonderful place.
We love coming here!! It definitely deserves more than 5 stars. Master Lee is a phenomenal teacher who teaches with high, but fair, expectations. They treat each child as an individual and have a strong focus on character and health in addition to taekwondo skills. Our children love coming and feel each time they progress to the next belt that they have truly earned an honor.
