This place is amazing. You're rewarded for your hard work and making it to the gym not only by looking and feeling better, but with CASH! My wife and I have been going to Kvell in Meridian and downtown Boise for close to a year now and we're in the best shape of our lives.

If you're looking to make a meaningful change, Kvell will certainly get you on the right path.

Kvell is truly an amazing gym! As a health care provider I have enjoyed watching and participating in the evolution of group fitness over the past 10 years. Brett and all of the coaching staff truly care about the success and health of their athletes. They possess amazing bio-mechanical knowledge and are quick to adapt any workout to any athletes that suffer from physical limitations. The programming is also designed to prevent injuries while promoting incredible results. This will be a gym that will continue to expand and make a mark in the fitness community.

We were the beneficiaries (and participants) of "Workout for a Cause" and we had a tremendous time. Brett and the team at Kvell have created a great atmosphere that encourages functional health in both the individual and the community! Kvell is a great gym! Their workouts are tailored to help you get fit so that you can go out and do the things that you love to do (hiking, biking, etc). They switch up the workouts, yet also establish a routine so that you can understand what the flow of the workouts is like. The team is great and the trainers are very friendly and great at knowing you by name and getting to know you personally. Awesome gym and highly recommend!

I have gone through phases of being in very good shape and not. I am at a low point in my fitness and I needed help jump starting me back on track. I love that I can show up and the entire workout is planned for me. I don't have to think about what to do I just have to show up and do the work that is laid out for us.The focus on entire body including flexibility is a huge bonus for me. I have had great results in my hip mobility! The class numbers are small enough that the coaches are able to help with form on all of the movements.

I have been going to Kvell for one month now. I wasn't sure if 6am was really a sane idea for a workout 3x/week! But, on the workout days, I have more energy, clarity and just generally feel better! And it seems as if my other athletic adventures have improved since starting.
The workouts are only 45 minutes and there are multiple time options each day (except Sunday). Brett is awesome! Glenn is awesome! They make me feel welcome each and every time. They are also very kind and specific about 'corrections' during workouts.
Unlike other gyms I have attended, the members are friendly, happy and helpful. The only 'competition' is with yourself. I would highly recommend Kvell.

As a first time "Boot Camper" I didn't know what to expect. Would I be able to keep up? Would I know how to do the moves?...well as it turns out I was just fine, in fact I felt great!
Brett was quick to greet me as I arrived and checked in with me several times throughout the workout to make sure I was doing things correctly and didn't have any questions.
The atmosphere was very welcoming as well. I meet several new people and left know that if I returned I would be remembered.

I don't think I'm the kind of person who will ever say I enjoy working out, but this comes as close as anything I have tried. I'm always glad I went and look forward to returning. There is nothing gimmicky or faddish -- instead, its a sequence of carefully planned, structured exercises that build from week to week. There are options for newcomers and veterans -- and all will be in the same class together, supporting each other. There are multiple forms of accountability - the strongest lies simply in the fact that they know your name, are happy to see you, and notice when you're gone. Plus Brett's emails just make me a better human.

I started going to Kvell back in 2013, although it was called Fitness Revolution at that time. I have experienced the evolution of Brett's gym over the years from Fitness Revolution to "The Lab", now Kvell. These changes are more than just re-branding. They are a representation of Brett's commitment to the improvement of his fitness methodology, not his profit margin.

There are cheaper options out there, but unlike most gyms that thrive on large membership numbers and low-participation, Brett has created an environment of motivation and accountability. He wants you to show up. He wants you to succeed. The fact that classes are scheduled mitigates the mindset of "oh, I'll just show up whenever" - which often results in not showing up at all. The social aspect of the gym is unmatched - you will make friends who struggle with you, challenge you, and celebrate with you at the end of each workout. I have tried several big box gyms, like Planet Fitness, Axiom, YMCA, etc. This is the only gym that I have attended consistently and achieved a fitness level that I can be proud of. I am constantly motivated to improve and keep showing up. If you want to be stronger and healthier - this is the place to make it happen.

Kvell is hands down the best gym in Boise. Its perfect for busy lifestyles with their ultra effective 45 minute classes. I always leave there feeling like I got the most out of my workout and good about myself. Its perfect because it is geared towards all fitness levels and you always feel supported and encouraged. I used to wonder what it was about this gym that made people look so happy when they walked out...and then I tried it! The workouts are intense, and they are fun. They change constantly so it's impossible to get bored. And, the energy in the gym is awesome! Everyone is at a different place in their fitness journey, they are supportive of each other, and just happy to be there. I also really appreciate the guidance from the trainers because their goal is to help everyone have good form, build strength without injury, and push themselves to have a great workout! I feel so lucky that I don't wonder anymore, I get to BE that happier, healthier person walking out!

This is the most amazing workout location; session; group that I have ever gone to. In years past I have always had my own workout routine and even had personal trainers. I can assure you that these sessions have already done more for me than those individual sessions. The way that Kvell has this structured and the way that the coaches interact with each person makes this personal plus. I value that they take the time to not only share about technique, but also about the need to push ahead whether that is with more weight or faster movements. A definite must join!

I highly recommend joining Kvell, if you are considering it! The workouts are relatively quick and continually change, so they stay interesting and provide optimal results. The Kvell community is good for ALL fitness levels. Brett and his staff provide individual feedback during the workouts to make sure we are doing things correctly. Real people, no-nonsense advice and a great exercise program. I joined Kvell nine months ago and it has been nothing short of transformation. I'm eating healthy, feeling great and have lost 35 lbs the healthy way. I'm like most people probably, needed to be more active and eat better. I've been up and down and tried a lot of different things to make a change. Brett's approach just makes sense, he helps you focus on what matters for long term change without all the hype of the latest fad. The people that attend are real people with the same struggles. To be able to say that I'm still at this program consistently for over six months is a huge change for me. This is now en-grained into my lifestyle, not short term thing. Thanks Brett!

Being a part of Kvell was a great move for my wife and I. The workouts compliment our active lifestyles and prepare us for running, skiing, cycling and all the other things we do. The workouts are under an hour and can be customized in intensity based on your individual fitness level or modified due to injury. It's the first gym that my wife and I can workout in the same class, at the same time and get a workout that is appropriate for both of us. I really appreciate the diversity of members in the class as all ages and fitness levels can come together. We have formed great friendships and the sense of "team" is palpable. Highly recommend!

Excellent trainers who can train a person who entered into gym for the first time like me. They care for each and everyone, observe every one and correct them even in a group workout. Their exercises have lot of variations and are suitable for all levels. Safe, friendly and positive environment. Lot of Motivation and support. Convenient location and Flexible timings. Great full body exercise with in 45 minutes. Great results. I love Brett's daily articles.I Highly recommend Kvell.

Awesome place! Good team energy is super important when in a gym setting, and Kvell definitely has that, and it helps me stay focused on my pursuits while having fun. Ultra convenient class times and super approachable work outs with variations for all skill and fitness levels. More coaching than I would have expected for a class atmosphere, which is important to me. I feel like I'm rapidly getting stronger, have higher endurance. I dig it!

Update 1 year later - I initially did a challenge at Kvell a year ago, loved the classes, but got busy with other things and decided I didn't have time to go. Well, here I am a year later and I'm so glad to be back and have realized almost anyone should be able to make time for themselves for a 45 minute class a few times a week. I've been back for a couple months and feel stronger and more fit than I've ever been. I like that Brett and the other trainers see that I'm capable of more than I think I am and push me to do more. The workouts are great, and they work. Kvell is a top notch place to work out, very positive and not at all intimidating.

Circuit training style gym with flexible schedules, informed and helpful coaching, and rigorous programs for all fitness levels at once. Scheduling is easy with their app, and the workouts pack a lot into a short amount of time (45 minutes start to finish). Brett is patient and helpful. Everyone is really encouraging. No heavy sales pressure yet that I've experienced, which is great! You can just jump right in and go from scratch and you'll be ok.

After several relatively recent injuries and surgeries to this aging body resulting from athletic pursuits (and the corresponding loss of fitness and weight gain), I feel fortunate to have found Kvell. I have been at it with Brett and Kvell for six months now. The workouts have given me a very strong base fitness from which I can move into my athletic activities with a much lower fear of injury and with confidence that I will perform at least competently. The flexibility in scheduling a Kvell workout throughout the day is very helpful to somebody without a "regular" work schedule. I really enjoy the workouts, the camaraderie, and the constant attention by Brett and the other coaches. I'd recommend it to anybody at any level who wants to improve their fitness.

No-nonsense, get down to business fitness. Focus is on functional movement and results. Brett (the owner/coach) is there to ensure you have good form and keeps the classes moving so you are in and out in 45 minutes to go about your business. All workouts are scalable, so you can push yourself within your own personal limits. Life is short - push yourself! The workouts are as tough as you make them - if you are going to breathe/sweat/suffer (in a good way), always best to do it with a group of like-minded folks! Highly recommend Kvell!

As a former college athlete, I really needed a workout that would keep my fitness at that same level without getting injured. Brett meets you at your current level and pushes you beyond. I've never liked gym workouts, opting for outdoor activities instead. But when I needed something to supplement my cycling I decided to give Kvell a try. I still wouldn't go back to a typical gym but I'm loving Kvell. The difference is efficient, well designed group workouts. In 45 minutes I can get an excellent all-body workout with a great group of people without the hype, pressure and other undesirable trappings of many gyms. Brett is an excellent trainer, able to keep even my uncoordinated body using proper technique to maximize effectiveness and minimize risk of injury. It's a low-pressure environment except that the program, Brett, and the other members encourage you to always strive for personal improvement. It's about perfect.

This workout is by far the best workout I have ever done, and I have worked out for many years and have tried everything. The science-based workout program has transformed my body in just 6 months. I am stronger, leaner and more confident.

Brett is an awesome coach/trainer/mentor. Even if the class is full, he will make you feel like you're the only one in the class. He pays attention to form to get the best results without injury.

Great place to work out for all levels of fitness. Staff is friendly and supportive to your individuals needs and goals. Constantly changing workouts keep things fun and your body always improving. Group fitness is usually not been my thing. However, I thoroughly enjoy that aspect of working out at Kvell. Staff is great and the workouts are challenging and fun to do. Of course success comes not only with the classes, but with the lifestyle coaching that is provided.

In 4 months I have lost 25+ pounds, lowered my overall body fat %, and increased my overall health. Nutrition and 10,000+ steps a-day have keys to this success.

I would recommend Kvell to anyone looking to improve their overall health. Expect to work hard and see results!

UPDATE - 12/17
Do to various things, I stopped coming for most of 2017. Gained back 30 pounds (after I lost 25)! I started in September and have been hitting it hard since. I will not stop this time. Kvell is totally work the expense for a healthy mind and body!

Just finished a 6 Week challenge and lost 23.5 pounds and 7% bodyfat. The challenge was awesome and support was great. Thanks Kvell staff!

Kvell is great! Tough, but great! Brett and his team are helpful and encouraging. They meet you where you are at, and help you grow from there. They are patient, but continually spurring you on to new achievements. The 45 minute sessions make it possible to fit into a busy schedule. The varied levels make it possible to achieve goals, and push on to higher goals.

This place is amazing! I've been coming here for over two years and absolutely love it. I took a six-month hiatus and tried to find other programs like it, but nothing honestly compares and had to come back. The programs are best if you (like me) need group workouts, but some level of individual coaching. Brett, the coach is amazing and really cares about making Kvell the best program it can be. This program is challenging, but totally worth it. Own it!

I heard about Kvell from friends. They were right, it's great! I love the 45 minute workout times, which are very manageable with a busy work and kid schedule. I love that I just have to show up and do the exercises that are laid out for me in the specific time allotted. I don't have to think about whether I should be working my arms today or my legs. Brett has it all figured out and organized. I am amazed at how much stronger I feel and I have only been working out 3 months! Brett and his staff are friendly and helpful and so are the people that workout at Kvell. This is truly a place for beginners to athletes who want to improve their health!

I have lived in Boise for 35 years and I can truthfully say that Kvell Fitness and Nutrition is the best place I have ever worked out. The atmosphere is fun. People working out are working hard, enjoying themselves and getting results. The coaches are magnificent! They are well educated and trained. Even in a larger class you can guarantee a coach is watching you to help improve your form or modify a move to prevent injury. I have also taken some of their other offerings such as nutrition education. When I took this in addition to the high intensity training, I lost 30 pounds in 3 months. My favorite class is team training. I have increased my strength to a level I did not think possible at my current age. I recommend Kvell to everyone. Just call to get more information. They will help you get the results you want.

I've been training at Kvell Fitness for a little over 1 month, and am very pleased with my experience so far. Each workout can be tailored for different levels of fitness, from beginner to elite, and the trainers are constantly moving around the gym, checking for proper form and encouraging you to dig a little deeper and give a little more. The workouts last about 45 minutes, from beginning to end, and start promptly on the hour. The first 7 minutes of the workout are spent doing foam rolling, followed by a warmup and explanation of the workout, and then the workout itself. The monthly membership includes unlimited classes and body scans - I find the body scans particularly helpful because the trainers help you learn to read it, and you can see a breakdown of your body composition (body fat, water weight, lean muscle mass) so you can really get an idea of what you need to work on (drinking more water, eating more protein, decreasing body fat percentage). There are numerous classes offered during the day, starting as early as 5am, so there are no excuses not to get your workout in!

Brett is genuine, and cares about the many facets of your health and wellness. He is a great coach and motivator. Brett is very good at identifying where I'm not challenging myself enough to reach the next level in my fitness. This is a great environment for beginners as well as seasoned athletes. I've been impressed at the strength gains I have made.
