I went there because it was close to work and wanted to learn more, but I think her name was Paula was not very good (my opinion). Wont go back.

Great new find. All the teachers are so knowledgeable and the classes are great for any level. Definitely would recommend.

Located less than a mile from what the Boise old timers called n*town, Yoga in the Hood takes whiteness and cultural appropriation to a whole new level. Well done, Karen.

Will not support culture vultures

I live just a few blocks away and love having my work, my doctors office, my grocery store, my pharmacy, and my favorite restaurant in the city all within a few blocks from home. Now I have a favorite yoga place in the same radius. Great folks, great space, very close to home. Love Yoga in the Hood.

I was absent from yoga for a year. After moving from Portland, I decided to start back up again in Boise. Yoga in the Hood was the perfect choice. I've met most of the teachers already, and they are all obviously very enthusiastic about what they do. Great classes, and a great space as well. Also, all props are supplied in the studio, so all you do is show up. So props to them!

My yoga class at Yoga In The Hood was terrific. I'm a beginner at yoga and the class I attended was a beginners class. The instructor (Paula) was fantastic. At the start of the class she went over some teachings of how the practice of yoga improves other areas of one personal life. She also taught some yoga concepts. She led the class very well and I found the level of movements just right as a beginner. I never felt like the class was beyond my ability. The studio itself was nice.

Lovely little yoga studio. The yoga teachers are great - good at explaining poses to beginners and guiding participants into more advanced practice.

There's a reason for all of the amazing reviews! When I first started coming to Yoga in the Hood a few months ago, it was my first yoga class ever. I'm not a naturally flexible person and had always put off going to yoga due to self-consciousness. Now I wish I wouldn't have waited! The instructors at Yoga in the Hood adapt their lessons for all levels of experience, and do an amazing job of offering insights and making adjustments to make poses work for you. Each of them has unique insights to help your practice, and it is very evident that they are all passionate about sharing yoga with the community. I know I would never have made as much progress as I have these last couple months at another studio or on my own. What I love most about Yoga in the Hood, though, is the community. It's an incredibly welcoming group of people from all ages, genders, levels of experience, etc. Whether you're a complete beginner to yoga or new to the area and looking for a studio to call your own, Yoga in the Hood is the place to go!

Ive been coming here for a couple months now, and I look forward to every class. The classes are fun, the instructors are nice and great at what they do. I was frustrated because I wasn't making progress in some of the postures, after a private session with Shannon, she showed me where I was missing some key basics. After working on those, I can see the progress!!! The other attendees are nice and its a great atmosphere for your practice.
