Both my husband and I worked with Chris Huffman at Volition Fitness for several years. Chris is a leader in the fitness industry who is always studying to expand his knowledge base so he can better assist those he serves. There are no cookie cutter fitness or workout plans found here-- all scheduled and planned exercises are specifically chosen to meet the needs of the client. These individualized programs always begin with meeting the client where they are, and are designed to help each client meet his/her goal(s). The combination of knowledge of movement and exercise science, extensive experience, and compassion for each individual is why I will always recommend Volition Fitness.

Aside from being the cleanest facility i have ever been to, the staff is what makes it. Everyone is incredibly helpful and caring. They clearly love what they do and are always engaged with their clients. I wouldn't recommend any other one on one personal training gym other than Volition

I have been working with Rachel for almost a year. She has been outstanding! She tailors my workout to meet my fitness goals and I have had tremendous improvement in my core strength and balance. I would highly recommend Rachel and the rest of the team at Volition. They will change your life!

Volition Fitness has been one of the best decisions of my life. I trained with Jenna and she was my real introduction to a healthy lifestyle. She always listened to what I have to say and planned my workouts to help me reach my goals. The atmosphere at Volition Fitness is amazing, it's welcoming and all the coaches are really nice. What I appreciate the most is the positive change in my mindset as well as the physical changes that I was hoping to achieve. I'm now much more confident in myself and it's all thanks to Jenna and the team at Volition Fitness!

Jenna is the best trainer! We have been doing couples training with her for a year now and have valued every moment of it. She has listened to our personal fitness goals as well as implementing exercise in areas that she noticed we need improvement. It's like hanging out with a friend that has the ability to turn your legs and arms into jello. We love Jenna and Volition Fitness!!!

I can't say enough good things about Brianne and Volition Fitness! Over the past 4 months, I have become stronger, faster, and feel better than I have in a very long time. Joint aches and pains have minimized or completely gone away and I see muscle definition where there hasn't been any in ages. Brianne is very professional. She knows what she's doing and has the right credentials to back it up! Besides that, she's just a really fun person, very encouraging, and really listens to what your needs and goals. Your success is her success. Do yourself a favor and go to Volition Fitness!

I have been with trainers previously that hand out cookie cutter training and nutrition guides with no personalized information. Chris from Volition Fitness was provided the exact opposite! He pushed me to achieve my goals and even has me looking at bigger and better goals! I will continue with Chris to see how far we can go!!!

Chris worked with me for almost 6 months training for a bikini competition. His nutrition and workout plan was very individualized for my body type and aspects that I needed to improve on. He met with me monthly for body fat and measurement check ins to make sure we were on track, and we were always ahead of the game. He was always available and willing to answer any questions I had.

I worked with Haley over 12 sessions. My goals were the following:
1. Get stronger using Squat, Bench, and Deadlift as performance metrics
2. Learn any technique changes, queues, or excerises to help me with goal #1
3. Compete in a powerlifting meet.

We succeeded in achieving all three of these goals. Volition Fitness is a great place to get personal training whether you've never worked out before or more experienced.

Below I will go over the three goals in more detail.

Goal 1 Overview
My maximum 1 repetition deadlift was 405 lbs at the beginning. My maximum 1 repetition was 440 at the powerlifting meet, and it is clear from the video footage that I had another 10 pounds in the tank.

My maximum 1 repetition bench press was 210 lbs at the beginning. My maximum 1 repetition was 225 lbs at the powerlifting meet.

My maximum 1 repetition squat was 295 lbs at the beginning. My maximum 1 repetition was 290 lbs (I think) at the powerlifting meet. I missed my first attempt due to a technique failure, and thus was not able to make a third jump in the meet.

Goal 2 Overview
Haley has an academic background in sports exercise science and applies her knowledge effectively. She knows queues for beginners, but also will observe and give suggestions for small changes in form. The team at Volition fitness has an excellent repertoire of exercises that I have never found in any youtube video or article. In that respect my time with Volition was extremely valuable.

Goal 3 Overview
The Volition Fitness team provided excellent support during my powerlifting meet. They helped me with my warm-up sets and cheered me on. It was a ton of fun, and a great example of the positive fitness culture that the sport of powerlifting tends to cultivate.

Chris is absolutely AMAZING. He makes sure you are comfortable and understand the exercises, and how they work. He cares a great deal about his clients and their goals. Whatever your fitness goals are Chris is the one to help you meet them!!!!!!

Chris Huffman is an exceptionally great trainer. I was literally on the brink of being obese and Chris helped me to understand what I needed to do in order to change my lifestyle so that I could be a happier healthier version of myself. Thanks to Chris, I am eating healthier, I enjoy going to the gym and am loving the way my body looks. I enjoyed his calm, easy manner in which he taught how to maximize my workout
without injuring or killing myself. Chris is honest and does not try to sell you stuff. He loves what he does and takes pride in helping ordinary people like me take those crucial first steps to being healthy without the use of drugs, supplements, and starving to look and feel better. Just be willing to do your part and He will help you realize your goals.

I just finished three months of training with Brianne, and in that time I lost 40lbs through diet and exercise. Brianne did an exceptional job tailoring my routines to both my abilities and my limitations. I have had marked improvements in my strength, physical abilities, and quality of life. I cannot recommend Volition Fitness highly enough!

Chris isn't into the fitness business, he's into the business of helping people reach their goals and dreams. Before working with Chris I had only dreamed of being where I am now. I owe all my progress to his knowledge, thoughtfulness and drive. I can tell he really cares about each of his clients and he doesn't forget about them or their goals when they walk out the door at the end of the session. I hope to continue training with Chris far into the future!

I first went to Chris to help prepare for a rafting trip in the Grand Canyon. The benefits to my health and general quality of life were so great that I decided to continue working out with him after the trip. That was 5 years ago.
