Today was my first time... Class was awesome and welcoming. The instructor was awesome... Patient and paid attention to my skill level .Defiantly recommend them! I'll be back tomorrow!
My new HAPPY PLACE!! Before Boise Hot Yoga I was a gym rat, and never thought I would leave my gym. I've canceled my gym membership because I can't get enough of hot yoga! One class is like a workout, chiropractic adjustment, massage, and meditation all in ONE! My husband and friends have noticed a significant change in my happiness. The instructors are high quality, caring, and very engaged with you to get the most out of each class. I've also lost 4 pounds, and wasn't even trying to lose weight. Please give yourself the gift of trying out a class!!
This has been on my "bucket list" for several years: try Hot Yoga! Why did I wait so long? The instructors are knowledgeable, positive, encouraging. Each has a unique style and I have enjoyed every class I have taken. Thanks Boise Hot Yoga!

Tim and Aliyah are amazing people, as are all of the instructors at Boise Hot Yoga! I have nothing but excellent things to say about all of the instructors as individuals, as well as how the business is ran. The environment is extremely positive, everyone is very professional, and they are all very motivated in our growth as students.
My journey into hot yoga began with Boise Hot Yoga just over three years ago. This crew was extremely welcoming to me. I have been committed to the practice ever since, and cannot imagine not having this type of yoga in my life. I have since been to several studios in various states and cities, and comparatively speaking, I can definitely say that Boise Hot Yoga is a very quality studio!
Whether you are an accomplished yogi with years of experience, or just beginning, you will not be disappointed. It might not be easy but it will be worth it!
I don't normally leave negative reviews but my friend and I had a really crummy experience with this place and the owners Tim and Aliyah. After pausing our contracts for unexpected financial troubles, not only did the owners continue to charge us for two months of classes in which we did not attend, but they also closed the nearest location to us. When we reached out regarding both of these issues the response we got was unprofessional and flat out wrong. Aliyah had our dates and payments all wrong and didn't have any solution for the closing of the location that we attended. In fact, the response we got was "there is another location only 7 miles away." This other location would have been great but we ride bikes and walk. Another 7 miles would have been too far for us. This is unfortunate because we both really enjoyed the hot pilates class and we would have loved to support a local business but instead feel like we were taking advantage of.

What I love about the owners and instructors that they practise what they preach! To me its a big one and what kept me on coming back during my stay at Boise. I love their raw and openness as well as they ability to expand the classes and have so many options, not just bikram yoga class. Don't forget the kids classes on Saturday, which gives me no excuse to continue my self care on a weekend. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Check it out and you will hooked. :)
This studio changed ownership and went downhill. I signed up for a year membership right at the cusp of the ownership change (that was a mistake). The previous owner was wonderful. After the new owners opened the State street location (I believe they have now closed the Federal Way location) I had multiple bad classes and experiences. I paused my membership for 3 months to decide if I even wanted to go back to this place. Near the end of that time I emailed the owner to discuss all that had happened. I was disappointed and didn't even want to go back after a particularly awful class. The owner never even responded to my email. Zero response. Not even a "I got your email and will respond when I have time to investigate what happened and discuss it with you." However, I didn't get charged anymore for a couple more months, so I assumed they had just cancelled my membership and moved on.
I was disappointed because I had really hoped they would at least respond to me. I was hoping they would fix it and I could go back. Flash forward a few more months and all of a sudden the charges start up again. I call the studio and leave a voicemail with the owners, and surprise surprise- no call back. So, I email them. I finally get an email back that states:
"Sorry for any delay getting back to you. Your charges are based on your year contract that has not expired. I can send you the form you signed for our year membership if that helps. It is unfortunate you had a bad experience with a teacher and I do appreciate your feedback. We always strive to do our best. I hope you can find myself or one of the other 13 teachers on our schedule in order for you to utilize your package. We have added 12 new classes to the schedule starting June to better serve a variety of schedules. We will not be refunding your account. I do take our business and livelihood very seriously and appreciate you honoring the contract you signed with us which was at a discounted rate because you signed up for a year term.
I'll send you the form later today when I can access my files."
During the previous 6 months they changed their policy on memberships to be month to month. It was all over Facebook and in their advertising, but I guess that doesn't apply to me? Also, she hasn't sent me the paperwork she told me she would.
They can have the money, because it's obvious they want it. Choosing to treat customers this way will likely lead to either a future sale of the studio or closing the new location down too. Too bad, it could have been an opportunity to mend the relationship and improve their business by perhaps refunding the money and extending a complimentary month for me to go back and explore other teachers and see how they have improved as she states? Or literally anything else. However, I will never go there again.
