Handled the Covid outbreak better than any other company I'm with at the moment. Top notch customer service, and knowledgeable, supportive trainers! I've been to a few gyms over the years and this is the first one I feel like actually cares about their customers well being from body to wallet.

I'd highly recommend them for anyone looking for a full access gym with a pool for an affordable price. The unlimited access to classes and wide selection of trainers and counselors is definitely one of the many reason I'll be sticking with Axiom for the foreseeable future.

When I went in to sign up, they were cool and awesome. I like the gym. The staff were nice and polite to me. I like that they had a pool and work out items. Thank you for helping me.

Cole and Parkcenter are the best Axioms in the Valley. Village needs a sauna and Meridian the crowd is just eh.

Their amenities are really great, however their customer service is seriously lacking!! I would have to write allot to explain everything however, here is everything in a nut shell.

First.... Don't forget to remember their random yearly payment because they don't feel like they should have to remind you of a random bill!!

Second... if you buy personal trainer sessions and they say they will help you if you can't use them... do NOT believe them because they won't.

Third... be sure that if a medical or family emergency arises end your membership as soon as possible!! Because when the payment comes due they are non negotiable about their money in your pocket. No exceptions!!!

I wish I could say writing this makes me feel better but it doesn't. Hopefully Axiom will take better care of their customers, or future potential "clients" will take heed and be prepared ahead of time like I wish I had been. Either outcome will make me feel better.

Nice staff, decently clean, sauna commonly goes out of order, and fox news regularly playing in the mens changing room,.

I love my gym! Everyone who works here is so kind and helpful, the equipment is always properly maintained and clean, and it has everything I need and various weights for my workouts. This location has a pool, sauna, steam room.and hot tub, with private and clean showers in each locker room. They have a huge variety of cardio machines, lots and lots of free weights and space to workout with them, and tons of machines. Theres also a huge studio for yoga and other classes they have, day care and a basketball court, and a cheap juice and smoothie bar. I pay $20 a month for all this and it is sooo worth it

Everything was good during 2 month, then they canceled my membership without asking me. Just because.. No excuses, just offered to find that guy who had canceled it..

My favorite gym place. Great personal training. Great workout community

When I started using this gym I felt like it was a good fit! After a year I learned that everything they told me about my membership was wrong. When I started asking questions I was again told wrong information and directed to management for them to just offer to downgrade my membership and not answer any of my questions . The management could also be taught a few things about customer service! Very cold when faced with a customer's questions or issue. I usually do not write a lot of reviews but in this case I feel it deserves one.

I joined the gym in March asking for a basic membership over my lunch break. I was not able to actually work out that day because I was first taken for a tour of the gym (SPOILER ALERT: It is a gym. It has exercise equipment, classes and a small pool). I then sat down with their people to make a very basic membership. I expressed that all I needed was a place I can hit the treadmill at lunch a few times a week.

I then made a horrible mistake and signed up for a promotional offer to do personal training. I made it very, very clear that I would purchase only the one package as a means to jump-start my fitness goals as I was losing weight after having a baby.

Imagine my surprise when another charge of $165 came out of my bank account. I went in and spoke the sales rep who said I needed to put in a 30 day notice, which I did at that point explaining, again, that I cannot afford $165 a month on top of my $22 (which was sold as $20/month, but that's not the point here).

Okay. Great. I put in my notice deciding that I would absorb the cost and use the training sessions. That was fine until yet another $165 came out of my bank account.

I went in to speak to the manager and operations manager explaining that there had clearly been a mistake thinking it would not be a big struggle to refund the money since I had now told them twice that I did not want a renewing contract. The manager agreed your contract was "unclear." Especially given I had to provide 5 different signatures across two lunch breaks before I was allowed to actually exercise. The other manager essentially told me, too bad. I had signed a contract and despite having been clear from the start that I only wanted the original 8 training sessions and having put in my notice, I was going to have to live with the cost.

The worst of it is that I can't even quit the gym because I am now several hundred dollars in. I simply wanted a place I could work out at lunch. That was it. I feel like I have been lied to and cheated out of hundreds of dollars. This is how the staff is treating your members. It feels very much like they are commissioned and are trying to squeeze an extra buck.

The only thing positive I can say is that the trainer is really good. She does a good job. My complaint is not with her. This is a buyer beware.

We switch to Axiom last October after being patrons of formerly the Idaho Athletic Club, now Crunch Fitness for the past 14 years. We were sad to Leave IAC, but with the change of new ownership came a lot of negatives from the formerly wonderful workout establishment. It is probably really difficult to be a standout workout facility in the state of Idaho, because of lack of choices, lack of locations, and vast amount of people trying to get a workout in. In my opinion, Axiom on Fairview is not a standout location, but there are a lot of options to choose from as far as workout equipment goes. Even at their busiest times, which is usually after the turn of the new year around 5 p.m., I can still get a workout in without having to fight off too many people. Surprisingly the facilities pretty clean for how many patrons they have attending their facility at any given time. If you are able to sign up for $20 a month, this is a worthy place to work out. I cannot speak to the other locations.

Trainers are committed to helping you meet your goal. Employees are always eager to help. Perfect place to unwind after work. Offers latest equipment, sauna, steam room. Also offers numerous classes, such as cardio. I always feel very positive about myself when I leave the gym. Money well invested.

The staf here are so awesome. They are so helpful and very friendly. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable there, plus the members themselves are all very courteous and very resectful.. The facilities themselves are awesome and clean, plus the up keep of the gym is top of the line. Then their is the equipment. There is everthing you need there and if they don't have it, they'll find it. The pool, jacuzzi, and hot and dry sauna are great.. Go give them a visit and feel welcome. Ask for Craig and Michelle, then if you want the hook up talk to the manager she's great..

For the most part it's a good gym at a good price. There could be some more classes geared towards men, but I'd say it's a great choice for a gym.

Great Gym, and great staff. Very close to where I live. So convenient.

We were in town for work for a week and wanted a place to workout. The folks at Axiom were fantastic. They treated us great! The facility is large with everything you need for weight training, cardio, or functional fitness. Also have a pool and full basketball court. All the front desk staff were friendly and Craig was awesome.

Love this environment! I was already satisfied and happy the equipment, but this morning when I went in I noticed they had added TONS of new, top of the line equipment! Always looking to be the best they can be and keeping their members happy! Have also had great experiences with staff and management! Win/win all around!

Absolutely terrible customer service when it comes to closing your account. I went to close my account after not being able to make time to use it and not only did they charge me for an annual gym maintenance fee comet they charged me a cancelation fee and a last month fee and it cost me an additional $200 to not go to the gym. There are much better options out there.

Love the staff here... They certainly know how to encourage someone who might only just be walking through those doors as a beginner!

If you join this gym just make sure it's a commitment you want to have for life because canceling your membership is a never ending run around. I call to cancel they tell me it has to be in location. I come in and they tell me only one person can do it and she's not here but I can email. I email and get told it has to be in location, I come back in and they tell me only one person can do it and she's not here but I can email.

Great facilities. Well kept equipment. Groovy disco lights. Outstanding tennis arena. Overall a fantastic place to shop. Perfect 5/7.

January 30, 2018 16:01

Who WOULDN'T want a wonderful experience like state of the art equipment, personal trainers, a cardio theatre, a bodyweight zone, aerobics class AND a pool/spa ALL WITHIN THE CONVENIENT LOCATION OF THE VILLAGE? That and 24-hour access most days, its almost too good to be true. I'd give this an 8 out of 5 stars if I could.

While there is a large array of equipment, much is worn and not in great shape. There are tears in some of the equipment that has not been repaired in over a month now. Overall the management does a terrible job of maintaining the gym. There is a lot of weightlifting equipment but they desperately need more weights. Because of all the things above and many more that I won't go into I cancelled after only a month at the gym. For some odd reason it will take two months for my cancellation to be effective. Bottom line if you want a clean friendly place to work out you will want to go somewhere else.

In response to the question about need for more weights, I am referring to the need for more plates. When you need 6 or 8 plates you have to go all over to find them.

Great facility, great employees and even great patrons. Always clean and new equipment

October 25, 2017 10:31

It's got a great pool, but it feels a little crowded. Also- you have to walk through the CrossFit area to get to the girls locker room, which can be a bit harrowing, but otherwise it's a top notch gym.

October 25, 2017 10:31

The machinery is all in good shape. Most of the people are helpful, trainers are great. The hours and policies for the Kids Club are a little ridiculous, but since few gyms have a child care area, it has to do.
