Old gym, outdated equipment, and expensive. Poor group classes and schedules. The unlimited membership can reach $150 x mo, more than triple what they were charging a few years ago, but facilities and classes have overall degraded. Boring atmosphere with zero energy. Bathrooms lacking periodic sanitation and no child care services.The staff acts indifferent and very unorganized, they don't care. High members turnover mainly due to the above reasons and billing problems (overcharging). They use a third party (ABC Financial Svcs.) to do the billing, and this company WILL charge you forever. Beware !! Bland people and owner with a very bad attitude, engaging in verbal altercations with members and staff. Very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor, and don't let this horrible place fool you. I do not lie. Over 11 plus years as a member and I had enough of Premier.
It used to be a very good gym, and very affordable, with a fixed monthly fee which included unlimited classes. It was also packed with members, and even a waiting list to take spinning because bikes were all taken 15 minutes before the class. Great instructors too. Fast forward, and all that magic is gone...adios. The glory days are now gone, and so are the vast number of member who were told to pay additional if they want to take classes. Even more $$$$$ for interval training called ZONE, which IMHO is a joke.The front desk people and manager are more of a hassle than an asset for the members, with a predominant lack of good customer service. I sure don't recommend it.
Moved to Hallandale Beach earlier in the year, and while looking for a place to work out came across Premier H&F. Took a tour of the facilities but it didn't quite convince me, mainly due to the limited weights and machines and high-end fees. During this CV-19 shutdown, I've been doing lots of research about this place and carefully listened to what my neighbors had to say, since they are former members and will never set foot there again. My business partner was also a member and shares no love for it either. So, what at first I though ,any negative reviews to be attacking, now based on my own diligence, what I've been told, and the recent unprofessional replies posted by someone claiming to be the owner (I would think a real business owner will take corrective action against complaints, rather than challenging them), I have no doubt the majority of the reviews here speak the truth.
I'll pass on Premier, and have chosen the nearby (and far superior) health and fitness facilities offered by the City Of Hallandale Beach, which I am not mentioning, at a much bargain rate.
Wish I could give them negative stars. The worst gym, trying to just make money inappropriately. I cancelled my membership and the person working at the front desk told me she had taken care of it and I would have no more payments or anything. Two weeks later they started calling and saying now I would have to pay for the next month as well until they could cancel it. I paid that too, and now I got another month charged to my credit card I cancelled my membership 2 months ago. That is very disappointing and frustrating. While offering the membership they don't tell all this stuff. Will never suggest anyone to buy their membership. Moreover, their customer service is worse. They are very very rude.

Premier Gym is a wonderful place to go. Lots of great equipment and wonderful classes that fit everyone's schedule and amazing class instructors like Aymara and Cameron! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even give you a free class to try! Definitely recommend for everyone!!!
I don't mind paying 120 x month on a gym, but also my expectations are high. Here it works quite the opposite, you pay a lot and in return you get an old middling gym with outdated and limited weight equipment, dirty bathroom and locker area, plus the most sorry, yawning classes ever imaginable. There is no commitment, much less desire from the owner to turn the tables around and make this place more attracting and worth the money. And when it comes to cancelling a membership, get ready for a turbulent ride. You better off shop around for a better gym.
Tons of great machines and free weights. Very clean and everything is state of the art. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Jay my manager was kind enough to offer a gymn membership as a perk of employment. Although I no longer work for Local Rank or Clickvantage this is still a great gymn. I am considering renewing my membership with the gymn. Though the company turned out to not be the best so this is an awesome place for me to get my workouts in after work.

The monthly fee is too high and the gym delivers very little. Average weight equipment and not too many machines. Classes and instructors are at or below LA Fitness level, but here you pay over 3 times as much. It is an overpriced local gym.

I first joined because it's close to my place and there aren't any other full scale gyms around. But the monthly fee is excessive and the classes are average at best. Overall environment is discouraging and quite bland for a gym which should kick butt if properly msnaged, of course.
Realized I was throwing away my money so cancelled and went to Aventura instead. Too much $$$$$.
Less than a month after I joined I realized why this gym has upset so many people. First, it charges a very steep monthly fee. Second, it probably has the most uninviting, negative atmosphere I have ever seen at a health club.
Reception is already discouraging, not to mention customer service. Classes are average and boring, lacking energy and overall enthusiasm. It doesn't motivate to be in a class with only 5 or 6 people. Instructors turnover is alarming and frustrating. Tell it to the manager, like talking to a wall,.and the owner, another jewel who listens to nobody.. Please don't throw your money here, it isn't worth it.

This gym s**ks. Awful management and customer service, lots of money for lame classes and average instructors. Constantly changing class schedule, swapping instructors, cancellations, etc. The place is a dump and it shows.

They've lost a stunning number of members, including me. The worst gym I've ever set foot into, with nasty unprofessional front desk staff, to instructors who are a joke. Classes are dead boring, and the gym empty.
Extremely old bldg. Elevators fail constantly, parking lots flood easily. No service elevator prepare to ride with construction, cleaning, moving, delivery etc.
Wonderful, diverse classes, great instructors, very caring management and staff. Clean too. Totally recommended!
Negative. I do not recommend it. If you only want to lift weights and pay the basic $ 40 monthly fee, it's OK because there's nothing else in the area. Weights and machines are almost new, but not great. However if your intentions are to take classes you're in for an expensive disappointment. This place was a popular neighborhood gym until 3 or 4 years ago when things began to crumble. Membership fees rose, classes became optional $$$$, class schedule changes, cancellations, and people began cancelling their membership.. The good instructors also bailed out because they were paid a misery, even after membership increases. So the gym now resembles a shockingly empty, boring graveyard and it shows in the classes. Spinning for instance took a dive, when it went from all bikes taken 10 minutes before a class, to barely 3 or 4 people now. The instructors suck xcept perhaps 1 or 2 who teach in the morning, but the great majority of people are not so fortunate and have to exercise in the evening after work. Customer service quality got worse, staff who don't care about members. I went to the front desk to fill out a membership cancellation notice and explained the reasons why I had decided to do it. The manager was listening to the my conversation with the staff member, while pretending to be working on the computer. Not a single gesture or attempt to keep me as a customer. No eye contact, nothing, just pure arrogance or perhaps shame. They just don't give a s#.t. There's an overall negative atmosphere, with an evident lack of motivation, creativeness and unwillingness to turn things around. Courtesy of the owner, likely. I don't recommend this gym, look somewhere else.
Horrible customer service. I attempted to use the three day pass to this gym. I was excited about it since it's conveniently 5 minutes away from my home. I forgot the pass the first day but she allowed me to work out & simply said bring it next time. However, when I returned with the pass the next time all excited the lady was extremely rude and did not allow me to use it and said I had to leave and could no longer use the pass even though all she said our previous encounter was "sure bring it next time". This is no way to treat someone who is looking to sign up for a gym. Good thing I didn't waste my money here.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I've been a member at this gym for the last 7 years, and today, after being so poorly treated by a lady named Cristina, I had to cancel mine and my family member's memberships. I brought a friend in recently to try out the gym with the confidence that she would join premier. After forgetting to print out the 3-day pass, Cristina, whom I've known since I was 14, let my friend in and said "don't worry, next time you can just bring the 3-day pass." Today, was the next time we came in, and as soon as we walked in Cristina automatically jumped up and was really rude to the both of us and said that my friend can't use the pass anymore. After asking why not she said that since my friend came last time for free the 3-day pass may no longer apply to her. After asking Cristina why this wasn't made clear to us the previous time we came, she continuously gave us attitude and told us that her worker probably didn't tell us. I'm sorry Cristina and the owners of this so called prestigious gym, but next time be sure to train your workers on how to get things across to their customers because no one told us anything. I eventually asked for her boss' number in which she told me she is unable to give me the number and then I asked when he'll be around and she said he has an office that of course she wasn't allowed to tell me where it was either. I've gotten plenty of people to sign up for this gym, but if I had known this is the way they treat their long time and possibly upcoming customers, I would have never recommended it to anyone. I'll be looking forward to the call I should be receiving from the boss.
FACTS TO CONSIDER ABOUT PREMIER:
-Good for basic weight training. Machines, nothing out of this world, but equipment is fairly new. $40 x month and it's never packed. A plus.
-Clean weight floors, except bathrooms sometimes in need of periodic checks and supplies.
-All aerobic activities are a-la-carte. $100 x month for premium membership. And here is where things get real bad. DO NOT join if your intention is to take classes. You'll regret it. Never ending class cancellations and instructors turnover, create total inconsistency and disorganization, so members don't get the service they pay for, and leave frustrated after just a few months.They charge top $$ to take classes, but the instructors get paid below average so they quit.This is why the gym NEVER gets quality and long lasting instructors. Spinning program has been completely neglected, and many times, leaving members without classes. BTW, lousy spinning instructors, so bad it's an insult to members. I've never seen it worse than now. As a result, the gym is EMPTY, because people get tired of paying for nothing so they cancel their membership, feeling ripped off. The bailout has been massive.
-The whole gym is missing energy, enthusiasm, unable to reinvent itself and attract new and former members. Stubborn, pinch a penny, outdated management mentality.
-Careless staff and average customer service. Don't trust them.
-I don't know where they get the good reviews from.
ADVICE: I only give it 2 stars because the minuses far outnumber the pluses. Weight training: Yes. Aerobics classes: Red flag. Don't throw your money on this place and go somewhere else.
To the owner and/or manager: Please quit writing positive reviews about your own business. Everyone knows its you. Instead, focus your time on how to make your gym a better place, like it was a few years ago. Improve customer service relationship, something your establishment is very poor at, and start taking feedback seriously. You've lost tons of good customers, and nothing is done to get them back. Get better instructors, because you are charging members top money to take classes, and many of them suck. Be smart and schedule your classes much more efficiently rather than pinning them against each other at the same time schedule, because there are not enough members to fill them all. I hope this helps and brings much needed changes. And please, don't bother replying, just get to work.
I've been a member of this gym for many years. I've always been impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable the staff are, in addition how clean and organize they keep the gym. The class instructors are also really great. The yoga teachers & the spinning instructors are all very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I really like the gym especially working out with my trainer, Kevin Green, who has helped me achieve my fitness goals.
I have been a member of Premier Health & Fitness for just about one year after being a member of another gym in Coral Springs the previous 20 years. Since I joined, the gym has completely invested in brand new equipment throughout the facility and has done an excellent job of maintaining the equipment in brand new condition. The front desk staff has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome in this new gym environment greeting me every day with a smile . . . and a towel! While I don't use the personal training staff, the personal trainers always say hi to me even knowing that I am not a potential client. They are just nice . . . and really good at what they do. The WiFi in the gym is strong throughout so I am able to stream my own music while I workout. And, unlike any gym I have been in before, the facility is kept spotless. I know because my workout has me up and down from the floor quite often. Being relatively new to the Hallandale Beach area, I am thrilled I was able to find such a high quality gym so close to home. Great job, Premier, and thank you!!!

I can honestly say it's maybe the best gym I've ever been too. They have this sense of honesty that you really can not find any where else. From management to the employees the atmosphere is amazing and a great place to workout especially with the deals and promotions they are having. It really hard to not find what you are looking for there. Overall great place and i will definitely be going back for more.
I love Premier gym!! I joined this gym almost 3 years ago and I regret not joining sooner ! Right when you enter the gym you're immediately greeted by their friendly staff making you feel very welcomed. This gym is very clean and most of their equipment is brand new because they recently remodeled the gym! If you need that extra push for motivation their trainers are very educated and will help you achieve your fitness goals. If you need to switch up your gym training routine they offer group classes to choose from as well. Highly recommend this gym to everyone !
