Great location . Exclent use of space. Great staff and after being down for a extended period, the best steam room in the area.
Enjoy coming here in the mornings, small gym but does contain your main equipment needed to work out.
This review is for the women that helped me over the phone. Her name is Lavella she was very nice and helpful. She answered all my questions and have outstanding customer service! I hope she answers all my phone calls in the future! I been a member since 2015 I love In-Shape especially the one on West-lane is my favorite. You get prizes when you workout as well depending on how many time you check in a month. Thank you In-Shape! Also Joe is great!
Loved coming to this place. Cozy, family oriented and very friendly staffs. It feels like no one is judging and they let you go freely.
While this gym is small than others, it has everything you need for a great work out. This is my go-to gym. The staff is friendly and the equipment is clean! Highly recommended!
Sometimes there's no parking, and inside the club its dark and the dumbbells are really old and the bosu have no air.

Inshape has decided to raise fees. They have my current mailing address on file as they sent me member based information over the last few years but apparently had the wrong address when they were deciding to send out this change in policy raising rates. My contract states its a locked in rate indefinitely with no terms in the contract stating there could be changes in monthly rate. This is an old contract from Fitness19 that was grandfathered in when they were taken over. Inshape never contacted me stating that the agreement had changed once Fitness had closed, I had never agreed to any new terms and yet they are forcing an up charge not agreed upon within my contract. Taking this to BBB as well its ridiculous all of these business feel they are entitled to breach contract whenever they see fit, yet if you wanted to cancel your membership early we face the damages and fines from doing so.
So sad the service I received. I paid a lot of money for a personal trainer and within the first 6 months I had 5 different trainers. They said they would issue a refund on sessions I did not go to and it has been over 30 days and they have not done so. I was planning on continuing my membership but at this point. So sad.
in-shape is a large corporation with some good equipment for exercise. Mangers at local clubs (Vallejo) are sometimes helpful. I currently have a workers comp membership. My membership is paid by the insurance . I made a six month payment for child care from my own money. child care is only $17.50 a month. after the six month advance payment of $105.00 I received a letter from in-shape, they would no longer accept my child care fees of only $17.50. They now wanted me to enroll my 3yr old child in a full membership.!!!!!!!. .P.S don't even try to call them they don't answer the phones after all of the prompts they make one go through.

One of the more basic Inshape locations in stockton, I go frequently and it has everything g yu can need expect for a squat rack. They have a Smith machine. Staff and atmosphere is friendly !

Jason Coulie changed my wife's life. Period. He delivered the most inspiring words that we've ever heard...and they were so simple: "YouGot This".
She battled weight issues, depression, low self-confidence and family-doubt after our first child.
He crossed our path while we were on vacation in CA and just happened to sit next to him at dinner. As fitness fanatics, I wanted to know "the secret". Welp, seems like there ain't one! Anyways, he spent about 2 hours of his time talking about nutrition, exercise and health...and even wrote out a workout plan for her.
4 months later, she's back to being the amazing, strong, fit and...ahem...SEXY wife I knew she always was.

Depending on what you want to do. It is easy to gain or lose pounds here.
Great thing about this gym it's convenient for people who work downtown. A gym anyone can get to. The vault which looks pretty cool, is aesthetically pleasing to workout in. Only down side is parking and no pool.
I have had issues regarding the club a few years back when I first obtained the membership. It centered on extra fees charged to my account. However, after my first closure I decided to give them another chance in servicing my needs. It turns out the club is doing business as usual. Yes, I spoke with a representative and closed my account. There is nothing that can make me reconsider joining this fitness club. Personally, I feel they lack transparency in their explanation of terms of service and policy. It is not their facilities that make not want to obtain service there, it is the people. I will never join this fitness club again nor recommend it to my network.
