The indoor pool at this facility is the best in the area. The downside to that is sharing, and sometimes (rarely) waiting for a spot in a lane. It's worth it! During the day, light pours in through gigantic floor to ceiling windows, and a couple of skylights above the pool. The air is well circulated/ventilated. Water temp is ideal for laps. Although it has not been an issue lately, there have been times when the pool chemicals were very high or imbalanced which made for difficult breathing and itchy skin. If you experience that, be sure to let them know, as the issue was corrected immediately after I brought it to their attention. The only other issue, and it's a very minor one, pertains to the clocks. There used to be a clock at each end of the pool which is ideal for timing laps/rests, but they removed one, and the clock that remains is often broken. Otherwise, I highly recommend this gym, based on the pool alone. The AquaFit classes are great too. But, the pool is closed for lap-swimming during AquaFit, so if you plan to swim around 9 am, be sure to check the schedule before you go. Oh, and the staff are nice and the membership fees are completely reasonable. If you like to swim, go here!
