Probably the worst 24 hour I have been to. Its a hundred thousand degrees inside and 800% humidity 24/7. They have enough weight stations for 2 people. Its a joke. I dont want to wait thirty minutes for a flat bench to do free weights on. Come on foks, time for an overhaul here!! Place is old, dirty, and falling apart.

I'm giving this gym 2 stars because it's close to my house an convenient. But, this whole gym could use an overhaul and some upgrades. Specifically the women's bathroom. It's gross it's rundown and just feels like it needs a really deep cleaning.

Friendly staff and the locker rooms are not as bad as others have said. Small gym but plenty of room. Not too crowded.

I'm giving this gym to Stars because it's close to my house and that is really convenient. But, this whole gym could use an overhaul and some upgrades. Specifically the women's bathroom. It's gross it's Rundown and just feels like it needs a really deep cleaning.

There are nicer and more expensive gyms in the area. However, if you get the Costco 2 year pass. This is by far the best value in Encinitas. It is never too crowded like some of the gyms I went to in the past. The only drawback is that some of the equipment is a little dated and the locker rooms could definitely use a remodel. I recommend it, and its great for families.

They photocopied my paystub for my employer benefits, and it turns out the scummy manager just ignored it in my contact. Now I'm dealing with their terrible customer service to get this fixed. Who does that?

I doubt this is anyone's first choice of a gym.
Still though, not great in terms of lifting equipment. They have one free-weight squat rack and no room to deadlift.
The manager gives off a weird vibe. I went in to cancel and he handed me a piece of paper with a phone number on it, essentially telling me to do it myself. --After my update, I'm sure it's because he knew he essentially scammed me. Just absolute bottom-feeding, used car salesman tactics at this place.--

Update:
I signed up through my employer, which excludes cancellation fees. Gave my paystub and everything. Turns out, they snakishly signed me up for a year and I had to escalate over the phone to cancel.

I like this gym, never that crowded, I can use any machine at any time. Only problem is that the lockers are so run down, and the showers stink like sewage. I literally have to take a shower at home after I shower after working out at the gym. Other than that, it's a good gym.

2 barbell benches
1 squat rack
1 assisted squat rack
Plenty of free weights
I'd say it's a decent gym for the active club level 24 franchise.

Something closes at least one aspect of this gym a year. Last year the classes were canceled for months due to a water issue. This year the club closed for several days due to a water issue. Much better, nicer, bigger gyms for the same price nearby
