This club needs maintenance, machines are broken for days sometimes! And locker rooms and showers are filthy...
Maintenance at this gym is okay as far as cleaning floors and sanitizing liquids but the overall view is the gear is old and many machines are not working nor repaired. They remain unusable. Lighting is not very good. The locker rooms are in disrepair as well - lockers broken and rusting, no attempt to fix them. Management doesn't seem to care about upgrading or even fixing basic aspects of this gym. How can they run this as a business is beyond me. But I do put up with it because I have a Medicare pass here/free usage and it's close to me, has adequate parking. Just wish headquarters would invest in their properties. It defies logic.

Just like any other 24 hour this one stinks also, so many machines are broken with no 9ne even trying to do anything.. workout machines are very old and low maintenance and you will always have to wait to get a machine, unbelievable how much they charge you and basically ignore everything!thumbs down ,should give even 1 star!
I finally get it - 24 hour fitness is an ART installation. I believe it's a philosophical statement on the presence of entropy in our every lives and our psyches.
How do we know we're really alive? Or half alive?
This 24 hour fitness confronts this deep question with unblinking bravery. Half of its equipment is broken at any given time. The wifi connects to your phone but doesn't actually go anywhere (halfway working). And half of the sinks in the mens bathroom don't even function. (Seeing a pattern here? Seeing the art?)
Burdened by our pasts and our stresses we so often only live half existences, and this twenty four hour fitness is screaming at us to wake up and repair our disillusionment just like they should repair the broken stair steppers.
Unfortunately their installation ends on a grim message, for months now, half of the gym has literally been broken, and it doesn't look like there is an end in sight. Is this a warning to us: that if we don't look in the mirror soon, our problems will never change? OR is this a challenge?
I am going to face that "entropic" part of my soul head on. I am going to repair the broken water fountains in my life. And I'm especially going to thank the 24 hour fitness art installation that made it possible. Who knew that it would take rusted weights and half of the treadmills not working for me to have a revelatory experience?
Great gym, but limited cause if you were a former member from other gym and now they bought it you should be able to go any 24HF without restriction, but no you need to pay extra I feel they r breaching a contract.
Worst gym I've ever been to. Lots of broken equipment. Super warm atmosphere. Old appliances. Few options. I tried to cancel my registration and DO NOT RETURN MY MONEY. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE! FATHER!

great sauna set up with three tier stadium seating and dual heat elements.
Lots of ellipticals.
Solid metal lockers for good security.
Cons,
2 out of 4 stairmaster broken.
2 out of 4 upright bikes broken.
2 out of 2 chest fly machines broken.
2 out of 4 lights in sauna broken.
Half the number of free weights needed for the volume of clients.
2 out of 6 (the only two I used) shower valves are backwards. Turn to cold for hot and turn to hot for cold.
I would only recommend this location during odd hours, or elliptical workouts.

I came back because I wanted to try Jennifer's Body Combat class, as it was highly recommended by a member I met in the ladies' room. April 21, a Saturday, 52°F, and we're all lined up outside, as employees are late. It's 27 minutes past 7 am (and counting), and some of us have left already, but more are arriving. A few of us need to empty our bladder, as we've hydrated prior to arrival in prep for the workout. Staff finally arrived at 0740, 40 minutes late. I was here before 0700. Year 2018.
0* for tardiness
1* for not being open for 24 hours
5* for covered and exclusive parking
4* for women's bathroom (a lot more decent and clean than other All Sport Club): has vanity and private changing areas; I took a point off for the small- sized metal lockers, with lockers holes that are in the way (be careful not to get your bags or clothes from getting ripped)

It is open until two in the morning and it has parking lot down of the gym And it has a swimming pool Jacuzzi sauna so it is perfect gym
It's been some years I'm the 24 hour fitness customer. Last night I went to 24 hour fitness Alamany Blv (3951 Alemany Blvd, San Francisco, CA 94132)after 30 minutes of exercise I went to take shower and one of the shower I was in not working so it takes like 2 min to change the shower I was all in soup also another shower doesn't have soup. It was 11:02 one of the trainer who was in there without saying that they are closing at 11 I need to be fast threaten me that he put me in the regular membership he was very rude . I felt so heart Brocken after all this years and I brought many of my friends in 24 hourfiness.
This really cause a bad rating four 24 hour fitness and I'm not gonna go to this 24 hour fitness again plus it's very dirty now a days than before and I don't recommend this 24 hour fitness anymore .
Best in sf. Actual clean air. Clogged shower drain. Every 24 hr has a clog drain. Why?Bring your hair dryer.
For what it is, good basic gym club, some with pools and spas. I've been a member since 1981with a lifetime member rate of $50 a year and all clubs access. What could be better? There's so many classes to choose from. My yoga teacher NamastDave at Alemany is phenomenal. The main drawback is it could be cleaner, but hey it's the McDonald's of health clubs. Who knew, almost 40 yrs ago from that 1 club on Sutter near Van Ness they would go national? There's also FitLite to get a fast workout. And there's so many, I have 10 near me !

So dirty and poorly kept there were noticably terrible smells about the gym. I've literally seen prisons with nicer bathrooms. Left feeling like I needed swim in disinfectant. Black mold. Your more likely to get a staph infection than a good workout. Horribly kept equipment.
This 24 Hr Fitness offers a wide range of classes. Most of which are excellent. I will not go to the Zumba class offered at 9 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday as the same instructor teaches all three and does not offer an inspiring class with rhythm or moves.
The women's locker room is disgustingly filled with litter in the bathroom stalls and globs of hair in the shower area. They need to keep the area tidy.

This place is a lot different than other 24 hour fitness locations nearby. They actually clean! It seems like every time I am there there is a reminder for staff to clean. The lockers however are a bit old and not the best. There is also no cell service, and their WiFi that is offered is extremely slow. Make sure to Dow load any music/shows before you go inside.
This club used to be a Bally's. The club itself is cleaner than other 24 hour fitness clubs in the area. I really like their class offerings. There's always something going on! This club also offers a lot of boot camps and it's amazing because it's getting pt for free! The juice bar is great too!

Very clean...love this GYM...BUT no access to data...your cell won't work that means no Pandora or any other app that required data.
Terribly crowded and low ventilation downstairs. No reception, poor wifi. Weights are rarely racked and can take a long time to find your missing dumbbells. Lat pull machine in the back has been damaged and out of commission for a year.
