I want to expose my own experience in this re-opening of the Planet fitness gym located here in the street of California. I have experienced that they do not have a quality of social distancing or the new rules of zanitacion. We know that we should not let our guard down until they find the cure for the coronavirus. People enter without mouth covers, and they leave without mouth covers and we are all close to each other. There is no person monitoring the temperature before entering the gym. The planet fitness protocol of social distancing is very lacking and in responsible. I'm going to stop attending this gym, because I don't feel safe.

I enjoy coming to work out here, lots of equipment to use, help when you need it ,and much to my suprise ,everyone sanitizes after use.

I've been to a few different gyms in town, and so has my wife. We both really like this spot. Best equipment that's keep up and well kept up facilities.

Not enough heavier dumbbells. Hardly anything over 40-50lbs. Needs fewer cardio machines and more free weights. Can a guy get a normal squat rack please?

Looks like a good place to work out I just don't get some off the added fees you don't know about until inside which rly not that bad ...... I'm going to be joining soon

I love my gym. Glad it's open 24 7 hood it stays that way since other gyms close by 10 pm

I have had absolutely nothing but trouble. I would never go here again. My card will get charged and they'll say that it doesn't show it in the system until I show them my bank statement.

This place is very clean, with plenty of equipment for everyone.Even during their peak hours, usually Mon.- Fri. (5-8p). The staff is extremely knowledgeable , and helpful.I have personally recommended this gym to family members and friends

Love the gym. The staff is attentive. Only fall back is having a stalker on Mondays. The gym should be a place off freedom.

The Black Card membership is only $20 a month, which includes tanning beds, hydro massage tables, and bringing any guest at any time (guests must have ID upon 1st visit) For the price, it is well worth it, and I love the "no judgement" vibe.

Best Planet Fitness in Kern County. Everything is nice and new so I guess that's why. Plenty of Dumbbells which is great and they have a bunch of resistance bands which I love.

Love the gym. Too many cars have been broken into on the White Lane location. Haven't tried the one on California yet. I heard a rumor that another one is opening somewhere on the east side. Anyone know when it will open and where the new location will be?

I love this gym. The customer service is great. The equipment is very clean. The price is great for someone on a less flexible income. I like that's it's located next to Barnes and Nobel. This is the first time I have ever gone to a gym and felt comfortable there. I loathed Curves, InShape always made me feel out of place. Definitely go look for yourself if you are on the fence and make your own decisions, but I know I'll be a long time customer.

I went last night and the place looks incredible! First thing i notice, all the equipment and machines are brand new. I live North of Bakersfield. I was going to White Lane Planet Fitness. I'm happy they open this one because it's much closer to drive. Overall, looks great!
Yes they are 24 hours, I went in at 12am-3am.

This is a great gym for someone who has never been to the gym before. Not intimidating. This is a gym for everyone and I love it. However, I do wish I had gotten the tour when I joined. They just gave me my card, took my pucture and sent me on my way. Doesn't seem safe for someone who is unfamiliar with the equipment.

It's okay. I don't care for the set up. I wish they had Jacuzzis to soothe your body and ropes to exercise with. Other than those 3 things, it works well for the price.
