Big thank you to Josh, Ki, and the gorgeous se'mone for being so helpful towards myself and my crew. My first experience at gold's gym was a dream come true and this staff is the gold standard of how a gym should be ran. Thank you guys and girls so much for the wonderful experience :)
Weirdest gym I've ever been to. It was interesting, but I didnt like their bars or benches. They didnt have many adjustable benches, or many bumper plates for deadlifts. Some of the benches at three levels of prongs for the bar, and if you use the second prong(most would) your bar gets trapped under the top prong...very dangerous
The woman that was supposed to be taking care of children just let my one year old cry to the point where they can't breathe and wasn't trying to comfort her at all and my baby was the only one there. I was going to another golds in another state and she loved the childcare and the ladies working there but this one was more interested in her phone than consoling my child.

Totally love Gold's. I'm a septuagenarian who's been a member since 09/2017. I do cardio and resistance machines every other day. I've lost over 30 pounds and I'm so proud of myself I can't stand it. My wife is walking a treadmill 2 miles 3 to 5 times a week and feeling good about it.
Equipment is good; staff is friendly and supportive. Locker room is as clean as one can reasonably expect with all the activity. It's not too crowded and there aren't too many narcissists yelling and grunting and dropping the weights from head height to attract attention.
I read the critical reviews and I've never experienced any of the things they complain about. I think some people are just into complaining.

Front desk customer service needs some serious help.
Loved that they had a ladies only area with Cardio equipment and free weights. Nice shower area/locker room. Front desk staff was really nice

I was very impressed with this gym. I was visiting on business and came in for a workout. The outside has an impressive presence, even from the main Street. The inside is clean and the staff is professional. You can tell it's a fairly newer facility by the condition of it. The cardio cinema was great and there were plenty of free weights, machines and an area to do abs. They also had basketball, a group workout are, and upstairs cardio area (if you want to get away from the rush) and a football like terf area. For the ladies, they had a separate workout area for privacy, as well. Great spot. Highly recommended.

Been waiting outside for an hr. N no one open the gym yet. Everyone started leaving. Someone people only have Sunday to workout. Guess they are still hangover.
Called and spoke to Jeff over the phone reference to Active Duty Military in town for a short period of time. They don'f have anything set in place for military and don't seem motivated to accommodate.
Minus the dirty locker rooms, the facility itself was kept clean. However, the showers were always clogged with hair. Ants swormed my bag in the 5-10 minutes I would shower. My biggest issue is that I have a copy of my 1 year contract and they claim to have a copy of a 2 year contract with me. Golds is completely overpriced and I have moved to a new gym that offers everything and more for less than half the price I paid here. They refuse to let me out of my membership and the General Manager asked if I would like to speak to a customer service representative. Why? So I can ask to speak with him again? This is an incident that has happened to 2 other local friends of mine and so we are left with no other option but to lawyer up and handle this the most difficult way possible. At least it will be worth it. Make sure you have a lawyer before you even consider signing a contract with this association.

Good place to work out. Haven't ever had any billing issues that others have had. They do try and keep place clean and orderly and the equipment stays up and running.
Just signed up & was billed AGAIN FOR $55(Don't know how they even came up with this number) JUST TWO WEEKS AFTER SIGNING UP & PAYING. Read reviews before & stated has had billing issues before! Don't understand how a "established" company like Golds can have this type of repetitive issue. Decent place to workout though, but having billing issues ALREADY.....I don't know. You've been warned
