The Yoga Circle is a fantastic place to try yoga or to deepen your yoga practice. The studio itself has everything you'd want to see provided -- easy ways to pay (cash, check or credit), storage for your belongings while you're in class, mats that you can borrow or buy, bathrooms and showers and towels. They even carry books in case you want to learn more about yoga.
It's easy to find a class because their schedule is online and is updated really consistently, so it's simple to find out if the studio is closed for a holiday. You can even sign up online if you want to save time.
But what really makes The Yoga Circle stand out, obviously, is the yoga. Teachers here are carefully chosen to be extremely good at what they do -- I think it's important to have a teacher who knows a lot about their practice and about physiology so they can properly correct my poses, and The Yoga Circle has teachers like this. They have teachers with different personalities and teaching methods, so you can find someone who suits your style.
I also like that this studio makes an effort to be creative about what they offer, and they often do something special at holidays or for different seasons. I haven't taken advantage of these classes, but I think having them shows that The Yoga Circle is committed to keeping their classes fresh and interesting and is willing to have a little fun with yoga even though they take it seriously.
I've been going to The Yoga Circle off and on for about five years (including some times when I was really dedicated and a lot of times when I only went once in awhile), and they've consistently grown more organized and more committed to serving their clients better. There's a real love for yoga and care for people at the heart of this business, and it really shows in their studio and their practices.
