Great setting, diversity of movement and wall angles! A well-equipped training section and plenty of training walls (Moon Board, Tension Board, spray wall) means there is something for everyone and then a few more options.
Great gym for bouldering. Sometimes the music is too loud tho especially in the Forge
My kids had a blast climbing here. Be sure to wear tennis shoes if you wanna save on shoe rental. Harness rental and day passes for my 9, 11, and 14 year old (plus one shoe rental) was around $60. The restrooms are clean and they have a water fountain (BIG plus since we forgot drinks). The staff is super friendly and helpful. There are some couches and chairs, and an area with tables for birthday parties. There are lots of varying challenge walls. The dots on the wall correspond to difficulty levels (one dot=easy, two dot=medium difficulty, etc). It would be nice if they had an area for little kids as my 3 year old got a little bored and I had to keep her out of other climbers' way while trying to take some pictures of the other three. I probably won't bring the youngest with me next time. Overall a great place.

A great experience on our first visit! Birmingham Boulders has a variety of walls to climb for every experience level. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our family had a great afternoon at Birmingham Boulders. If you are seeking a fun time for the family, definitely give them a try.

My wife and I took the intro class, and were honestly terrified of bouldering, but our instructor,Joe, was so awesome and we totally loved our experience. Hoping to come back very soon!
Bouldering only gym on the smaller side, but still awesome. The training room is legit and several of the routes were a lot of fun. Also enjoyed the steep walls in the back, and the price compared to most gyms across the country. Would go back in the area. The walls are a smooth wood, as opposed to the rough texturized ones you get at some gyms. Thanks for the tour Anthony!

Great place, had a great time very.A good place to go and chill and be away from and madness, and has a gym where u can work out.Also great staff, just the whole place made it feel as if I was at home..
I love this place. The staff are super helpful and friendly. Great vibes for a beginner like me. I have several friends who have started going and I decided to join when I moved back into town this weekend. Every time my hands and forearms give out I still can't wait to get back there.
Fully equipped bouldering gym plus a robust training/workout area with a friendly atmosphere. Uniform flooring design with no need for modular mats, very comfortable falls. I enjoyed the route setting style and appreciate the diversity of problems. They had everything from soft slab warm ups to 25 move roof problems. Taylor was working the desk when I arrived and he was very friendly and helpful.
Birmingham Boulders is definitely my favorite climbing gym. It has a huge variety of routes at all difficulty levels. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, basically what I've come to expect from the good folks who brought us First Avenue Rocks. And that brings me to the most important thing about it: the people are amazing. The community of climbers and staff members are really supportive and inclusive, and just all around good people. Definitely check it out.
