I've been working with Molly for awhile now and she's great!! She truly cares about her clients and is always willing to go the extra mile to help me achieve my goals. The owners definitely want to help people reach their goals! I didn't give five stars because a lot of the equipment at the Lien road location is old and beat up. Stoughton location's equipment is much better.

Katie and Tony are amazing owners and so inspiring. Kaade made me stronger than I've ever been! You won't get better care anywhere else. Sometimes their cute dog is there for extra motivation...because you cant complain at those puppy eyes.

Very understanding management team. I tended to work out at night due to my schedule and found this place great for late-night workouts. It was safe, well-lit, and had ample space to get my workout on. Highly recommend.

I had significant issues with Badger Fitness the one month I was a member.

- The annual contract membership I was sold does not include classes. At the end of my first month at Badger I was informed I would need to shell out an extra $67 a month to attend classes, a 200% markup of my original costs. At $32 a month I was happy to attend classes that I had some issues with. At $99 a month I would rather go to a dedicated studio. There are locations here in town that have 3-5 times as many classes, multiple rooms etc for the same price as Badger is charging per month to take classes. I was not at Badger for use of their weights/cardio equipment so this was not a good deal for me at all, and I felt misinformed about how their system worked and then trapped in that system by the end of my first 30 days there.

- Website had/has a ton of bugs, formatting issues, poor scripting. I had actually seen the pricing for classes and had assumed these prices, which it turns out were about to apply to me after my first month, were from a previous era in Badger Fitness' time. It seemed completely feasible to me that they would have outdated pricing on their page due to inconsistencies elsewhere on the site. I reported these issues to them at the beginning of my time with them via email, offered my expertise as a web designer to do the work repairing said issues, and was informed their design firm does updates so they would pass the word along and have them handle it. As of my last viewing of the website none of those issues have been addressed.

- I'm pretty sure most of the gym staff there has little to nothing to do with classes and vice versa. Poor integration there. They set me up with a 1 on 1 with a trainer that was focused on anabolic growth who told me he had only taken a single yoga course in his life. How could my trainer possibly understand my fitness goals coming from this background?

- Feedback I gave to gym owner didn't make it back to relevant yoga instructor until several weeks later, after being told, essentially, "You can't make everybody happy." Once it did reach her, based on what I was told, the information was warped and not what I had asked for. I would recommend having a direct line of communication between students and instructors.

- Had to go to battle to get Tony to cancel my membership after experiencing all of this. They wanted my money and were not overly concerned about my happiness as a customer. I am giving two stars instead of one because they did eventually cancel my membership.

Excellent for the price. Never had a bad experience over the past year while I went to both locations. Best gym(s) in Madison by far!

In town for business a few weeks and was recommended to this place just to continue training while on the road. The manager and staff were very
polite and friendly, it is very clean and orderly, all the equipment are new and well taken care of, just about anything you need to continue weight training or cardio. People are very friendly and it is not very crowded like those big box gyms during peak times, I was always feeling good before working out. I highly recommend this place for your work out fix.

This gym has everything you need to get in the best shape of your life and keep it all year long. Great classes throughout the day and on site trainers that will make you work hard while having fun and most importantly, seeing the results you're after. All of the staff treat you like family and want you to succeed on your terms. No question, best gym in Madtown.
