A great measure of a company's value is not in times of abundance, but in times of scarcity. And I can confidently say this Anytime Fitness location fits the bill. Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, I underwent changes which rendered much of my membership's remainder inaccessible. Kari, an Area Coach in Southern Wisconsin, responded to my cancellation request almost immediately with quality support, and even lowered my cancellation fee by over 270% -- not including a waived fee and active membership through the end of July.
In regards to the quality, I've never had any complaints. In fact it's been a true pleasure working out at this location! The equipment, people, and facility are top-notch and well-maintained; and the staff know the science and research surrounding exercise, metabolism and bioenergetics. I really wish I could continue working out at this location, or AF in general as it is a great company. The franchising structure enables local owners to support the community which elevates the culture relatively more than corporately-owned gyms, and exudes a more personal, inclusive experience.
Overall, excellent job and I wish your location the best of times moving forward.
Best anytime location in Madison. Avoid going between 4pm and 8pm if you hate crowds.

Great location for students and anyone trying to get in shape. Del and Scott were the best trainers I could ask for, always encouraging me to reach new heights. The management team, Nick and Trevor, were extremely transparent in the contract process and always answered any questions I had. Solid, clean, well-maintained facility with a wonderful staff!
Del and Margo, two of the trainers at this Anytime location, are fabulous--immensely compassionate, professional, and dedicated to ensuring all of their training clients meet their goals. Cannot recommend their training enough!

Great gym in an awesome location! This is one of my favorite Anytime Fitness locations because of the equipment. If you're a lifter and love barbells this is the place to go. They have about 6 squat racks and extra barbells if you don't need a rack. They also have loads of free weights and treadmills/ellipticals - and it is always clean!
The only negative comment I have is that it can get SUPER busy because it is on campus. I recommend avoiding the lunch hour and between 430-6pm. During their group sessions it gets a little crazy in the open floor/free weight area.
The staff is always friendly but aren't in your face about your form or getting you to sign up for personal training. They respect your space but are eager to help if you ask! :)

Pretty good sized gym, usually not too packed. Sometimes might have to wait for a machine or exercise but great customer service. I had a mix up with some of my dues and after talking things out, was able to get things squared away easily. Was a member for 2 years before moving away. Would recommend again.

I enjoy my time there . It does get busy, but lots of good energy. Everyone is pretty focused on their workout. Members are friendly...staff is knowledgeable.

The gym staff managed to trick you signed the contract, and hide many facts so that they can charge you extra money. For example, they never tell you that you will have to "tell them" that you want to cancel the contract otherwise the contract will renew itself. The gym keeps charging members by this way. I saw many reviews complaining this on Google. And the gym charges everyone $25/year to maintain their facility, many of which disappeared several months after I singed the contract. When you go to the management and try to solve the problem, they seem willing to help but they do not care at all. They never reply expect when they contact you to collect money.
I will never try any anytime fitness center. Completely disappointed.

Extremely hard to get ahold of any manager if you ever have problems with your account or billing. I tried to cancel my account and for 3 consecutive weeks of calling could not get ahold of the manager to resolve the issue. Very poor customer service on their part.
They will steal your money even though if u no longer under contract. I was doing month to month and asked to cancel but they charged me for the next month bcz I didn't give them 1 month notice
