I have enjoyed every one of my visits to Barre3! The classes are fun and high energy. I enjoy that each of the movements can be adjusted to your fitness level/how you're feeling that day. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The studio is clean and has a great atmosphere.

I was really demotivated to get back into anything because of knee pain but knew I needed something aerobic and challenging to get into shape. I've been loving class at Barre3 because they are careful with the movements but really push you to work hard at the same time. They have many great teachers and it is always a really welcoming and energizing experience. Never boring! I'm not in shape yet, but I am on my way!

Everyone at Barre3 Madison is warm and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable from my very first class and continue to push me so I receive the most out of my practice. I leave every class smiling and ready to start my day on a positive note. I highly recommend Barre3 to anyone wanting to better their mental and/or physical health!

The instructors I've taken class from know what they're doing! They give detailed instructions and make their way around the room correcting peoples' alignment. The space is pleasant with lots of natural light. The other people taking class are pleasant and friendly. I've enjoyed every class I've taken at Barre3.

Fantastic studio; great workout, great instructors, great location. Does wonders for the body and mind. Monthly membership is a great value if you plan to work out 2+ times a week. Comes with product discounts and other neat perks.

Felt like a longtime member of the class on my visit while I was in Madison...instructor Missy was most friendly and professional as she knew just the right dose of attention and direction to provide each student.

I've been taking class since 2015 and became a member about 1.5 years ago. If you like varied workouts that revolve around your core and cardio, give this studio a try. Every instructor knows what they're doing and each is a positive, encouraging presence in the room. Classes fly by and are as challenging as you make them (since you use your own strength and resistance for many of the exercises). The studio space is full of natural light, clean, and welcoming. I can't enough good things about Barre3 Madison---the workouts, the people who work there, the people who take classes there, the space---it's all great.

Love this place. Instructors are motivating and positive, the studio is clean and inviting, and the music will always get you moving. Classes are welcoming to all levels of experience. Whether I've had the worst day before a class, or the best day, I always leave a class feeling invigorated and refreshed.

It's fine. It's definitely not worth $150 a month or whatever they are charging for it. It is primarily a quad workout. There is not really a cardio aspect to it and it's almost impossible to get your arms to be sore the next day. If you have $150 to spend on your body every month join monkey bar or orange shoe.

Too much inconsistency among the instructors! If you can get Olivia, you'll enjoy the class. Unfortunately Grace teaches at most of the times when I'm available, and I find her classes frustrating. I usually leave angry. Now I've stopped going. Grace lacks the mindfulness I learned is inherent to the Barre 3 vision. She shows a disregard for individual limitations and appropriate pacing. She skips over the essential steps of establishing a solid platform and isolating the correct muscle groups in a safe way. She impatiently accelerates from zero to sixty, skipping the more intermediate stages of each exercise to get to the most difficult, exhausting, and potentially injury-causing activities. Worst of all, she thinks it's motivating to yell at us. If I wanted a boot camp class, I would have gone to one.
