I found this environment to be, at first appearance, a nice, relaxing studio. However, they really pack people into classes, which does not make for a great learning environment. I tried five different classes, and all of them were jam-packed with people. They also all played music that I could not get into my own world with. Every single class played music with lyrics, besides I think maybe YinYoga. Sometimes even dubstep, or definitely music I wouldn't even consider playing at a yoga class, was played. It made me very anxious and wanting to just get up and leave. Prior to living in Madison, I had practiced yoga the previous year with a great teacher probably once a week. I had a sprinkling of other teachers in that time period as well; all of whom definitely cared more about the experience of each individual. I feel as though, at BlissFlow, they are just trying to get as many people in and out. For some people, this may be the only thing they are looking for. But I was looking for more from a company that charges $19 for drop-ins. I bought a 20 class pass from Groupon and did not feel the need to complete them all. Based on my experience, I know there are other studios for me. However, to each their own. You may be inspired by top-40-type songs distracting you from your breathing. There is the potential for so much more from this studio. I was disappointed.
