Lululemon is a store that at first glance appears to only fill a very small and specific niche but needs to get more credit for branching out into athletic wear in general. Yoga chic is quickly becoming "travel clothing" in general - clothing that does everything. The gear they offer is top tier and pricey but lasts when you care for it (which... if you can't read labels; wash on cold gentle, line/hang dry). I buy a pair of whatever a month, and it has slowly filled my closet to replace a large majority of my workout gear, casual everyday, and dress casual, and most of it has come from this store. Dress pants that seem to go with everything, lightweight jogging pants that breathe extremely well (I'm really warm in -30 degree weather), t-shirts that don't dissolve after being washed four to five times a week.
The staff at this particular store is extremely friendly, helpful, and even managed to magic up "the sweatpants" that I've been looking for for ages - baggy enough to last through my poor attempt at the splits, cool enough to survive hot yoga, and able to be hiked up above the knees and actually stay there without falling down. Thanks, guys! Last pair in the Western Hemisphere, and they found them.
I recommend stopping in and at least saying hi and seeing what's on the shelves, I usually find one or two things on deep discount worth grabbing every now and then. The staff also usually has good personal picks from their own practices as teachers, dancers, etc.
I have gotten the athletic tops from here and had very positive experiences. Therefore, I decided to try their leggings about 7 months ago. However, they are falling completely apart. Being that I wore and washed them as directed, I am extremely disappointment in the result and how quickly they wore down. Seams are coming apart and there is piling everywhere. These leggings should reflect their price, and they definitely are not.
Purchased items online, was able to exchange for different sizes I'm store. They honored the coupon I had used online, and exchanged an item I didn't realize didn't fit until I took off the tag. The great customer service I recieved today will make me a loyal customer.
I wish I could post my comments earlier. Had the worst experience on Black Friday. Everything "on sale" was actually very expensive, and the customer was given only 5 min to use their tiny fitting room (which caused my daughter got the wrong size). What is the worse, some of them were labeled as "final sale" in fine print somehow. When I tried to return one pants the next day, I was told no money can be refunded, just a store gift card. Remember that most stores even have more flexible returning policy for holidays.
Mostly have women's athletic wear. Although I picked up a pair of pants there. Love the pants. Found them to be extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely continue shopping there. Although fair warning it is expensive but in my opinion worth it.
Incredibly unsatisfying experience from some steroid chad with a nose ring. I pay $120 for pants expecting customer service to match the price. My replacement was messed up, I was given a regular instead of slim fit pant and their system wrote it as both being slim fit. I asked for him to exchange the regular fit (wrong pant) for the slim fit version. He says no and since th system says it was slim fit there is nothing he can do (again not my mistake whoever made this initial exchange inputted the wrong information). This guy then gives me zero alternative options for a solution was rude and unhelpful. Luckily I called my hometown store and an exceptional representavie was able to help and resolve my problem and I will be receiving the correct slim fit pant. However, my experience with this rep and West End was extremely unsatisfying. I have never had a problem like this with Lulu, I appreciate the help from the other rep.

Great lulu store. Staff is friendly and helpful- the store is pretty large, and has a good selection for women. The men's section is a bit small, but there is still a good amount of inventory.

By far the best place for men's athletic and casual (and even dressy) wear. I love it because I can come in to get a tank and shorts to wear to the gym, I can pop on a polo and flat front shorts for a round of golf, and then I can throw on some ABC pants and a button down for an evening out. Truly a men's brand for everything and the comfort and fit is unbeatable. Lulu guy for life over here.
Friendly staff, but lacks a lot of the selection in sizes bigger than a 6.
Staff seem more involved with one another, sort of felt like a high society sort of place. As an athlete, I look for high quality goods but I can do without Lululemon at Hilldale due to the poor shopping experience.
