Facility is always clean and relatively unpacked even at peak hours. Trainers seem to care about their clients and their success.

My issue with Anytime Fitness on Nesbitt Rd does not come from the facilities, as the fitness portion of my experience there was fine. This is the only factor that awards this facility a second star, as the positives end there. I learned too late that this location seems to value profit far more than people and selfish goals over those of the customer.
I went in with a coupon for a free 21 Day Transformation and was very clear to the worker that my intent was to use it as a trial period for their gym and decide afterwards if I wished to continue with a membership there. Through the use of hand wavy explanations and misleading/incomplete information, he pushed me in a direction that I found out too late was not aligned with my goals. After my time utilizing my free training sessions, I was informed that if I chose not to continue my membership I would have to pay a membership Early Termination Fee of $250.
Unfortunately, I feel the sales and customer acquisition side of this location does not balance integrity and customer satisfaction with profitability and selfish gain, instead choosing to focus too heavily on the latter. While I understand this is a business and they need to make their money, I made it extremely clear when I entered that I wanted to use this time as a trial before deciding on a membership. They could have understood this desire and encouraged me to sign up for membership by making my experience with them fantastic. Instead it seems they chose to mislead me down a path that guaranteed them a payout one way or another without regard to my expressed desires and goals. It is for this reason that I cannot recommend this Anytime Fitness location or any location that shares their ownership.
UPDATE: Full disclosure, I did get my money back after filing a complaint with the Wisconsin DATCP. The owner of the Anytime Fitnesses in the area apologized and said he'd do his best to retrain the associates to more clearly convey contract info. That said, I have not gone back (and will not go back) to verify this information.
Anytime has attractive facilities with just the right layout, equipment and friendly staff to make working out more appealing. They have gyms closer to me, but the Cahill Main and Nesbitt Rd. gyms are my favorites. At Nesbitt Rd. the clerestory windows have an inspiring light effect and Cahill's two levels add variety to workouts. It is refreshing to see how thoughtfully the trainers work with the less fit new members. The staff greet me by name and encourage my efforts to continue to stay fit and active as I advance in age.
I have had the pleasure of working with 4 fantastic personal trainers at this location. They are all caring people, with fun personalities and very knowledgeable. I ask many many questions and they are all always happy to help! They definitely push me to work harder than I did when i worked out on my own. I love being able to get a better workout in less time, and I love knowing that I am fulfilling more of my potential at the gym. I also appreciate they were able to give me many tips on how to improve the my technique on several exercises, and ideas on how to prevent plantar fasciitis from coming back. Thanks for all the help!

I found a gym that I like more for less money so I let my membership expire. They called near the expiration to try and have me renew and I told them as much. So far I've got one extra month they've charged, they won't do anything over the phone so I had to go in to cancel in person. The manager here says that he can't do anything about the bogus charge and says you have to give 30 days notice to end billing and then they'll keep billing you during that time so they're guaranteed an extra month of fees. Don't deal with these crooks.

This is the WORST gym I've ever been to. They never stop trying to call you or come up to you trying to convince you to sign up for a personal trainer. I specifically avoid this location because I got tired of being approached.
I also cancelled my membership directly with the manager due to the fact that my membership was up and moving to learn they had continued to charge me for months. AVOID!

The trainers were all so understanding and just helped me so much to get back on track in accomplishing my fitness goals. They really know their stuff and are sure to help you grow no matter what level you are coming in at. The gym is always clean and presentable and whether you take advantage of personal training or not, has everything you need to stay or get in shape. The only complaint I would have is, it's kind of pricy for how small it is. Would be nice to have a bigger gym, pool, sauna, and more equipment etc. available for the pricing.

Open 24/7, but TV reception can be spotty at times. Equipment is clean and working properly.
Was stood up on my free personal training session twice. Therefore complained and tried to get out of my contract with no luck. Was looking forward to the contract being over, but it went into an automatic month to month with a 30 day cancelation fee (with no notification) so I was charged for 2 extra months. Complained to a staff member, a manager, and have since asked to talk to the owner. I hope all the negative publicity I give them is worth those $92 to them.
I've always had good luck here. The new team training sessions are a good value where you can get a P90X style workout. They do a good job keeping the equipment up to date.

When I confronted them regarding the issue they admitted that it was a record keeping fail on their part but still I did not get my money back for those 2 months.
