I enjoy the facility! It's center location makes easy to pop in before work and get a good work out in. Staff is friendly!
Great staff and great amenities. I would have given 5 stars but there's a lady practically living in the upstairs women's locker/workout room . She is there everyday for hours walking around naked the entire time as well as going on the balcony naked . She is always on her laptop blasting movies while eating.... When she is not doing that , she is yelling loudly on her phone !
This is unacceptable. I don't mind locker room nudity but this makes it difficult to enjoy my paid membership.
YMCA staff please kindly address this issue further . I have a feeling you must be aware of this considering the sign posted on the balcony stating do not go outside naked ..

Like most YMCA's with a wide range of athletic admenities, but also non-athletic classes that help improve wellness. Despite being Christen Value based, they do not force religion on anyone, however they do ask you respect their values & set good examples for others! They do have a % discount on membership and classes for those in NEED, not want; even full price, all that is offered is super awesome for the cost in the area!
Needs some updating but they do a great job. Great equipment, plenty of space, great cycling classes. We love it and use daycare which is so helpful!!

The is probably the best YMCA in the world. I love it so much. The kids pool is amazing and so is the adult one. I love going during free time, and jumping off the diving board. The gyms and play rooms are amazing, and so are the prices of their snacks! It is good for anybody. Also camp manitou is the best camp in the world. I wish every YMCA was like this.

They had charged me after I had cancelled the membership and informed me there would be no future charges, the finance department was rude and dismissive. Was informed the executive director would be contacting me. The condition of the building is disgusting.

Nice facility but they have some strange rules
The classes are great for my kids and they have a blast during their swimming classes and the teacher work well with the kids
Great group exercise classes and awesome family friendly vibe. Love it!
This place is an invaluable resource for my family, especially during the long winter. Whatever the weather is doing to us, we have a place to go to burn off energy and have fun engaging in athletic activities (SWIMMING).
I've tried other fitness places. and nothing compares to the YMCA in eau Claire. There is a positive energy for all walks of life. It has become my Church, a place of healing.........

Offers wonderful programming for our youth and keeps our community active!
Youth basketball program is a joke. Don't waist your time or money. Teams aren't picked fairly (even with so called try outs).
You have great programs like the Scholarship Program, and your fantastic summer childcare program plus my daughter loved camp Manitou.
But....
My husband said it would be nice if the locker room had a better code of conduct. He said it's gross being in there as the men sit in the hot tub w their balls hanging out and walk around like it's an Adam & Eve commune. No one has any sense of modesty. Our son is 13 and he feels it's creepy for him. We agree. Please fix this. Young boys don't need to be exposed to that. There's no private showers for them, etc., and he's too old for the family locker room. Please take my review seriously and put a code of conduct in place. There's no need for grown men to be flashing their junk to everyone.
I can back that comment up: I remember one time I saw two women sitting in the hot tub buck naked. I get it, you like to bathe w other women naked. That's fine...For you. I pulled up a chair and waited for them to get out while I stared at them. You make me feel uncomfortable w your pubes loosely lingering so I'll put it back at you w my look of annoyance. I really don't think this is necessary. It's a locker room. It's not your home.

Good place to workout. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because they don't have enough parking space. I always have to drive around for a few minutes before finding parking.
I was in town for a few days so I purchased a couple of day passes at the YMCA. Their equipment is in excellent condition, there is lots to choose from, and it is very clean. I will definitely go there again. Great location too, near the downtown with great areas to walk and run outdoors.

Everything you need for an awesome workout and then soak your sore muscles in the hot-tub when your finished.
It's not handicap accessible. If you are able bodied, it's fine. I was sent there for physical therapy in the swimming pool. The maze of hallways was rediculously long for me. I use a cane.
