One of my favorite gyms I've worked out at. The staff is friendly, the place is clean. Great variety of equipment and workout options, with a good layout for putting together a workout routine. Plus, the people who workout there are know what they're doing so there is a lot of good gym etiquette.
So far I love to come this gym. Staffs are very friendly and helpful compared to another gym that I canceled 4 years ago because they're awful. I met nice people to chat with. I don't have to wait to use machine because there are many of them. I love to swim and use hot tub after swim and it's not cloud around late morning to early afternoon. Shower rooms, locker rooms and powder room are very clean because the lady cleans always. Hard working lady. Hopefully I can continue to exercise there.
I love my gym. Ive been a member for 2 years. Never once have I had a bad day in this gym. They have the best customer service team around, its always clean and well maintained. Its my favorite gym in the Puget Sound.
My first visit. You have to sign a waiver just to get tour.
There is handicap parking, but no handicap entrances.
There are many classes for advanced, but none for the beginner.
Exercise equipment is fairly close to each other. If you use medical devices you're limited to the equipment on the very end.
The pool is nice, however, if you're in a wheelchair you have to have staff come and open the door to get in and out as the handle is 5 feet high. Not sure how to notify staff to open the door when you're done swimming.
There is a steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, all co-ed.
I lose my wallet while excersice at this place. The lock is destroyed and they took my wallet with some cash and credit cards.
I did reported to Tacoma police and people in the front office of this place.
Just to be safe, even lock won't keep your personal item safe in this place.
I'm not a fan of mega-global gyms. I prefer the smaller "Active" facilities. This place does have anything you need equipment wise and it's clean. If you like crowded gyms with televisions and other b.s. you don't need it's probably a five star
Just gave up the 10 years membership at the LA Fitness and just return back after an 25 years separation due to me moving to an different home area.. Now I decided to become a member again about 2 wk ago since I only live about a 5 min drive from my home , but the staff greeting , professional attitude and knowledge of physical needs to help u become more physical fit is awesome. Love how they take the time to listen to what your chandleges , weakness and expectations are and set an goal and time line so you can meet your expectations .
It's a new gym, how can I not be impressed. In-love with speed cycle room and the layout of the gym itself. The staff seems really great. I just hope that the kids club team plays with the kids more instead of sitting down. As a parent, that's all that matters to me...is if my kid is having a blast and is safe. Also, they seem to be doing something about the overwhelming amount of homeless crowd in and out of the parking lot. It went from very active to police making rounds. I feel alot safer.

Do NOT sign up with this gym! They bill you monthly fees of $37, sign up fees of $99+, then yearly fees of over $60+, and all I needed was a recumbent bike for PT! The GM sold me and stuck me with these outrageous bills, never again! I bought my own bike for home for less than what they charge me to be a member for 3 months! Screw this gym!
This place is pretty awesome! All the amenities you could ask for. Chris was our sales rep and he was the least douchey gym membership guy I've ever come across. I bit into his hook hard and have really enjoyed it so far! You think it's pricey? Well you pay for what you get in life. Bunch of big, strong Bros lifting, which creates a nice competitive atmosphere to get that pump in. Wouldn't recommend for a begginer. BTW, Chris was gone when we can back to renew and all the other reps we talked to never pressured us into the sale. Fantastic! When will gyms realize they lose out on folks because they place to much pressure on the person and make them uncomfortable. Introverts need time to make decisions juice heads.

They do not take 'No" for an answer. I signed up for a guest pass and before I even get past the signing up part, I got into in argument with one of the staff. She relentlessly suggested I sign up for a membership on the spot. I told her I would have to see how my guess pass experience turns out and then decide afterwards yet she still kept on going. She dragged it on for about 10 minutes. I read the reviews before I went and they were absolutely right. This gym is only concerned about your money and couldn't care less about your experience there.

Great gym, great staff.
I believe they need to work better at cleaning and maintenance or the gym will fall in ratings.
I really like this place it's not to croweded at night time. It's convenient right off the freeway on 38. Simply put it works for mw. So if your busy life stye keeps u from getting exercise then go check them out. Clean and affordable
Very pushy sales staff. I have a 30 day guest pass and the guy wanted me to sign a contract with them before I even started the 30 days. A few days in he calls me and says "Well, you've got a 30 day pass and you've only been in 2 times. When are you planning on coming back?" I had planned on going back before he called but I think I'll just give up the remainder of the 3 weeks.
Thanks. Not interested.
Good gym. Parking lot trashed. Wish they had more live cycling instructors than digital. Not as motivating to attend and I was looking forward to spin classes. Only 1 or 2 people in digital classes.
It's a nice up to date gym but it is always dirty in the women's locker room when I go. The pool and sauna area usually has dirty abandoned towels laying around. And the hot tub has had soap scum bubbles floating in it regularly too. Perhaps its because I go to the gym later in the night and there's less staff on , I don't know, but that's the allure of a 24 hr gym being able to go late at night. Anyway if they were more attentive to cleanliness 24 hrs a day it would be a great gym.

Dominique and Jamie were great customer service Representatives this place is absolutely spectacular is very clean I believe there is no children here 24-hours you can't beat that anytime the day or night cash credit debit
Great facility! It has all the equipments necessary for working out, as you'd expect. Plus, they have a full basketball court, a swimming pool (with sauna and jacuzzi). Also, their parking lot is huge.
I was just here and spoke with Kayla for a membership and she was very informative, and pleasant to speak with. For someone like me, who is all over the place, I wanted to join a gym where we are able to go to any of their gyms. And 24hour fitness allows their members to work out in most of their gyms nationwide. Joined up. Can't wait to see the results.

Employees are very friendly, and they explain to you about what package to choose, and also there personal trainer. Plus they have a
steam room, sauna, pool, Jacuzzi. And they
all work excellent. Come to the 24 fitness center in 38th st. In Pacific Ave. And also
they have lots of weight equipment and a
basketball court, and some other classes to participate if your interested. Come and enjoy working out with friendly employees and members.
Just because it's a super sport, you have to pay extra for amenities you have no desire to take part in. Just want to lift weights and shower... No desire for a consultation or take part in "studio classes."
Always a great experience. Good instructors and nice customer service at reception desk.
Theyre a nice gym if you use it enough but they charge too much money, I recommend the YMCA over them because the Y is a non profit so they wont pardon my language but "screw you over financially". They Y is also more community oriented so it's more than just a gym. I highly, highly do NOT recommend 24 hour fitness.
Friendly staff, clean facilities, many different types of fitness equipment available. Not crowded at 8:00 am week days. Free towels during work out. Good lighting. Music is not to loud. Drinking fountains, as well as bottled refreshments and supplements available for sale.
Having been to 24 HR fitness locations from California to Washington this is by far my favorite. The facilities are top notch and the staff, Jami in particular, are always very nice and welcoming. Best gym in the greater-Tacoma area that I've been to hands down. Keep up the good work!
Great price if you get your membership through Costco. Facility is new.
Facility maintenance is nearly nonexistent. But since the building is new the deferred maintenance hasn't had a noticeable impact.
Free weight area is always a mess. In part due to the lack of labeling. In part due to the lack of weight stands
I have never seen a single team member respond to the recorded "team clean" messages.
Love the gym. I did see that at first it was well kept. The womens bathroom and showers, i found at times to be really dirty hair everywhere. Its really gross. And I also notice a lot of people going into he sauna with their workout shoes. Even though out side the door it clearly states NO WORKOUT SHOES! I have seen also people working out getting their sweat on and then getting in the pool or in the spa SWEATY! thats gross!! N unsanitary. I feel staff need to be checking more for the shoes issue I know nothing can be done about the pool or spa but they can sure check on the rest.
The most modern gym I've ever been to. Has just about everything. I regular it at a very late hours so I could not comment on most of the services offered by staff. However most classes can be ran at night by yourself via a touch screen kiosk.
Very nice place out of the way from everything, good beer and food
Yeaaaaa buddy!!! Brand spankin new place to get your swole on!
The gym is 24 hours and a good price compared to others. I'm coming from the YMCA where I was paying over $100. While the Y was great for powerlifting, this works fine and you save money.
The great thing is there's 3 caged style squat racks with Deadlift area in behind them. Turf area with sled pulls. Lots of dumbbells. Lots of cardio. Swimming pool. Lots of benches.
The only cons is it appears there's not enough 45lbs plates. No Wi-Fi, which really sucks if you use your phone for music. No mirror in front of the squat cages.
WOW. Absolutely fantastic place for workouts. This place is the best in the area by far. Excellent value and has everything you'd want in a gym, including spacious work-out areas, nice machines, basketball court, spinning room, dance/ yoga floor, swimming pool, spa, sauna, super-clean locker rooms, showers--even a kid''s play area. Nice!
The fact that this is a BRAND NEW facility is a big plus. It is open and very spacious. The assortment of machines is all anyone can ask for and the staff is attentive and welcoming
