This gym is gross. I joined in January and honestly, this is the dirtiest gym I've ever used. The Showers are gross and seem to have issues being staying hot. Soap is always empty. Also, the doors for the Sauana and Steam room are just laughable. The only word to describe the entire downstairs of this place would be a... Dungeon
Great place so far. Downstairs smells when it's busy and it's busy a lot.
But otherwise it's fairly clean and pretty inexpensive. Friendly staff and fun group classes.
No longer open 24 hours..... Disappointed by this decision..... Welcome to 20 Hour Fitness!
Good place to workout and a friendly staff. Most 24 hours in the Seattle area have all changed their times from 4 am to 12 am. For those who work late and want 24 hours there are anytime fitness near by. If you want more for your money and want the same hours just try Golds or LA.
Great place to work out, especially at night when it is practically empty. Has 6 squat racks on the first floor (and more on the bottom floor), which makes this awesome for barbell exercises! I had previously been to the 24 Hr Santa Monica (California) location -- this one is SIGNIFICANTLY better than that.
Downtown Seattle 24, been my gym since 2000 or so. Has everything you need weight and equipment wise. No basketball, and Precor elliptical machines are iffy. Easy to get to, free parking from 5pm-10pm. Street parking can be a pain but you can usually find something within walking distance. Staff has always be A+. Great gym :)!
Been the same since like 2000. Love it though. Feels to me like Rocky II in there when I work out. You know, all those workouts Rocky had to do to beat Hulk Hogan. Smell of sweat is part of equipment. Free weights are my favorite. Loud people in the gym, just have to deal with them. First gym I went to as an adult on a free trial. Got my first membership from 24 hour fitness ultra sport. So, definitely a starter gym.
Good deal if you workout during offset hours. It's a zoo 6-9 am and 4-7pm. Ton of equipment and a huge space. Pool is nice and never busy. Locker room is clean and keycode based.
They always run out of wipes and/or no one does the equipment down after themself. Poor ventilation, so it smells. At the end of the day, you can't get a better price anywhere close.
Visited from out of town for a quick workout. This gym has very friendly and helpful employees and all of the equipment you could want.
The plates are always all over the place and difficult to find. And the stereotype of guys doing curls in the squat rack is very fitting at this gym. However, the pool is nice and it is a great size gym.

Great range of machines but some people working the front desk late at night have heads full of air.
Not bad for the price. Older and not too clean. Most just go to play with their phones, but some actually workout. If the young people would just put that phone down, they might get results.

I used the 3 day pass due to the ymca shutting down for a week and on the second day they came up to me and said this is your last day because you are not interested in our gym. You're just here becuaes the ymca is down. And I told them the gym pass is three days and the said it was revoked.
So I guess it's only 2 days of gym.
Extremely rude when they confronted me. the gym has great equipment just the hygiene is very poor here.
Not recommend for long term
Ymca all the way
BEWARE: security issues!! My husband had his bag stolen from his locker even though he had locked it using the lock provided by their staff. When asked if they can give access to security cameras on site to identify the suspect or help us identify the suspect somehow, they did not cooperate (we don't know why?!). We are left with no trace, no effort made to help us locate the stolen items and no compensation for this incident.

I don't feel safe in this gym. I get a bad feeling or vibe from some of the people. I hope it,s just me reading to much into thing,s. I like people and I try to see the good in them.

Great place to take a shower when you're homeless.
This particular location needs to put more effort into cleaning the men's locker room, especially the sink/washroom area. Seriously disgusting.
Edit: I'm adding one more star because recently they've started cleaning up some. Still got a ways to go, but an improvement nonetheless.
Personal trainers are rude and will kick you off of a machine. Meanwhile they will gladly take up as many machines at one time for their client. Good job guys!
Very reasonable prices, especially if you negotiate with them (they are quite flexible). Try to find someone to recommend you there to get rid of the initiation fee. The staff is extremely friendly and very, very skilled. They want you to get the best out of your time at the gym and are a lot of fun to talk with. Though the gym is very large (and the photos show tons of machines), just after work hours is very crowded. You will almost always have to wait for someone to finish their sets before taking up a machine. Besides the crowd, the facilities are great.

My favorite gay bar in town. Lots of eye candy. Needs gender-segregated steam rooms, though. The clientele also needs to be less bashful and more talkative to each other.
Good cardio section for my early Monday workout- they have the Arc trainer which is the best non-running workout. It's gotten better and the showers are much improved but still iffy. Parkung is tough unless you come before 8a when the garage is FREE (Open-8am) But its Not my favorite 24 Hour though.
Because 0 is not a choice. I bought two "lifetime" memberships over a decade ago for myself and my spouse for approximately $2000. Long story short, because I only had to pay 1X per year, my account went overdue by 60 days (owed $25). As a result they cancelled my membership, didnt pause it until i paid, cancelled it. Seriously the shadiest thing I have ever experienced from a company in my life. Everyone I talked to on a monthly plan said they were notified the day of if they were late on payment. They only notified me when it was over 60 days overdue and said because it was so delinquent it was cancelled. I had gone several times and was never told. I contacted store manager, regional manager and corporate. No one would make it right. If anyone has a legal background and wants to start a class action...lets do it!!!
JOIN AT YOUR OWN RISK. There are A LOT of sketchy characters in this area, so SAFETY AND SECURITY ARE MAJOR ISSUES because sometimes there's no one at the front desk to police who comes in. Also, the staff has told me only the operations manager can check the camera footage. What if you get harassed or in my case your things get stolen? I filed a police report and am waiting for the manager to get in touch with me. I will post further updates. Thanks for reading.
Update: The manager got in touch with me the following day. However, it's been a few days and there's been no update since. I am not sure if the police has gotten a chance to view the camera footage since only the operations manager can only pull up the footage. There's been no contact from either party which is very frustrating. I am very upset and I don't think I will be going back to this gym anymore. For the gym members and guests I would suggest bringing your own locker and to be vigilant around you at all times. If you see something say something! TO THE MANAGEMENT AND STAFF: Please make sure there's always someone at the front desk and make sure every member checks-in!
It is a nice place to workout, has lots of equipment and machines - Not super new, but not super old. The great majority of machines are in very good working condition. However, the whole building does have a lingering smell of sweat, so be prepared. In general, it is not super dirty... Except for the men's locker, which is short of disgusting, but it helps me practice holding my breath for longer times. This is a gym where typical lunks work out, so expect to have muscle heads hoarding one or two machines at the same time; especially benches and squat racks. Today I noticed some guys "reserve" the squat rack by putting their water bottle while they go stretch for 10 minutes before using the machine. Also, most people don't wipe the equipment, so make sure to wipe each machine before use, unless of course you like the feeling of stranger's sweat against your skin (hey, no judgement here... (@_@)/ just be careful not to slide off of a machine). On the positive side, there are many classes to choose from - I haven't done any of them, but it is nice to know that I have options. Most trainers are very nice and approachable, but there's always "that guy" who seems to only train other muscle heads and hoard space and equipment.
Has plenty of equipment and much to offer. Classes are held with plenty of lockers nearby. Main floor is mostly cardio equipment with a handful of lockers. Downstairs is a pool and hot tub and an assortment of weight equipment, the free weights having been recently replaced. There is lockers available both in the changing room for the pool and just outside of it. Having built in combination locks for the main lockers means not having to bring your own lock.
Best gym among many others if you ask me. Not a lot of people standing around chit chatting just good old fashion working out.
Nice gym but they are so pushy about getting you to join. I just wanted to try everything out before I joined. I was in there an hour before I got to get on any machine. The guy kept on & on. I've been in sales, I know how it goes. He just kept asking why I wouldn't commit. They must work on commission, it made me very uncomfortable after awhile.
Looks nice so far. I will miss having my own television on my own treadmill and watching the news in the morning. They don't give you your own. Nice, big, private shower stalls where you don't all groom together.
I will giving it 3*s is because they are progressing and they just brought New weight. Other wise well deserve 2*s. 1. Always out of order: Elevators, toilet paper, napkins, toilets, water fountain, water drain.
Stuff, friendly.

Really busy after work but has everything you need. Mornings are a lot better. I got a coupon at Costco so it ends up being $16/month. Have to pay up front and get two year contract though
Great hours, but not maintained well. Patrons are slobs with weights not put back. Locker room is dirty and lockers have hair and dirt inside. Bring your own music because the overhead music is all the pop songs you don't want to hear. Good location and good potential with pool, basketball, sauna, steam, classes, cardio, kids club, and weights.
Lots of space, machines and equipment and great hours. Parking is available until 10pm on weeknights. The pool is one of the nicer pools at a 24 hr fitness I've used and it's 25 meters which is an odd length (as 25 yds is short course) but it's so much better than any of the other 24 hr pools I've used which are often one or two lanes, or odd distances. Only downside...locker rooms are run down and not the cleanest. Gym is often crowded so better to go on off hours.
Im glad there is a 24 hour fitness in Seattle, but the location could be better since this is located right in the traffic heavy area. Parking can be hard to find and the gym validates parking in the garage for specific hours. Also kind of small to be considered a "sport" gym level. Can get really busy during the hours of 6pm-8pm.
This is a decent gym and you can't beat the hours. The staff is always nice. I wish they would update the drinking fountains and machines a bit more.
Lots of nice equipment, but the plaudits end there. Parking is very limited. Nearly always ridiculously crowded. Worst of all though, is the fact that the weight room downstairs smells absolutely disgusting. I get that it's a gym, but it seriously smells worse than any gym I have ever been to; I'm wondering if they ever clean it.
Large and well-equipped gym. It has 3 floors, multiples of nearly every machine, 2 separate free weight areas and just enough cardio machines to accommodate the incredible number of Amazon employees that pour in around 5pm.
It is very crowded around that time and it is not unusual to find trash left by other gym goers on the machines and on the floor. The staff members are on top of cleaning up after these people but come on! Clean up after your own self, you entitled dick.
The staff members I have interacted with have been friendly and helpful, the one trainer I have worked with (James) is excellent, and the available classes look fun, although I have yet to try any.
While I usually go during "rush hour", I have never been unable to complete a workout due to overcrowding. Occasionally, I have needed to approach another member to inquire whether they are currently using something but it has never resulted in a problem.
Also this place has a pool, a sauna, and a steam room, which is awesome.
