Lack of customer service manager is only available Monday-Friday 9-5pm any question you ask the staff they said only manager can do this and that. By the way I'm not referring anyone unless they do some changes and to be friendly into their customers. I have business but I can't treat my customers the way LA fitness treated me. One of their staff talk to me like I'm dum didn't have any right or choice to ask my concerns or questions I never see someone like that before. This place need friendly staff and manager.
People mind their business and don't babysit equipment they aren't using too often at this location. Only place I feel comfortable boxing and doing kettle bell work outs.
Like how clean the locker rooms are kept. Enjoyed using the pool ( not crowded at all) & jacuzzi, very relaxing.
Just passing through before my flight, stopped in for a quick workout. Good over all, there were some small obvious improvements that needed addressed (rubber coming off the dumbbells & the concrete floor pock-marked in one area pretty badly) but all the other equipment and staff were fine to me.
It's pretty good compared to other LA fitnesses but it's always one of the most crowded ones out there sometimes a little bit on the dirty or side cuz it takes him awhile to clean and one time I didn't have a very good conversation with one of the front entrance people that's why this is a four-star rating

This is not one of LAF nicer gyms, with a smaller floor plan. The LAF at The Landing or Burien are nicer and worth the drive. There seem to be more gangsta members here than in the other LAFs. Not much effort to keep the weights in order at this location. The music sucks the same at all LAFs.
Stay away from this gym if you can. It is jam packed during peak hours, is extremely filthy, and has rude staff. The equipment itself is good for a large commercial gym, but is very dirty and is pretty old.

Of the older/less glamorous variety for gyms apart of the LAF chain. Zumba classes are great. Mirrored spaces for class. Compared to the Y, LAF lacks equipment to use for class. The children's zone needs an update to accommodate children older than 4 yrs when in fact it cares for children up to age 11. If not new equipment, more age appropriate activities, tables, chairs.

I would give it a 1 star but since it's spacious I give it a 2 star. The reason why give it only a 2 star is because they recommend you to use the small lockers located outside of the locker rooms. LA Fitness recommends you to place your valuables on the small lockers. I followed their recommendation to place my valuables on the small lockers but recently a woman just told one of the workers that she "Forgot her small locker password" and she just picked any locker for them to open. Unfortunately my locker was chosen and she could have taken my car keys and my wallet. It is really not safe. Some of the employees really lack training skills. I don't feel like any of my stuff is safe here. If you decide to sign up I would recommend you to carry your staff with you at all times.

I go here only for my cardio on Monday , Wednesday and , Friday because I hit my other gym after. I usually hit the Redo or Covington one ( Covington is another story needs wifi staff is rude ) I literally walked to the bathroom paper towels everywhere, toilet paper everywhere. I walked up to the front desk as I was telling the guy at the front desk he apologized and started to call someone to clean it. A week later I decided ok I will try it again it was pretty early in the morning I walked to the bathroom and they were cleaning it, cleaning the sauna , cleaning the showers , mopping the floors. I'm giving it a 3 star only because they guy at the front desk immediately called someone to clean it . Also a 3 star because they were cleaning when I arrived. Now they need to clean not just in the morning they need to keep it cleaned all day .
Two stars because the front desk lady (early morning) is SUPER sweet. This place is SOOOOOO DIRTY. I have been to several locations, Fairwood, Kent, Downtown Renton, Puyallup and Spanaway - the only reason I frequent the Tukwila location is because it's near my work and I do early before work. No other location that I've been to is as filthy as this location. The showers have mold and mildew in every stall, the shower curtains are seriously disturbing. Not only do they have that pink slimy guck all over them but they're held together at the top with knotted paper towels. I can easily see this place is absolutely NOT cleaned daily, I'm not really sure how many days in between but certainly not daily. I tested it myself.
All that said - the very nicest and best location is where I'd never expect it... Spanaway! That place is amazing. Tukwila location should take note.

The place needs updated free weight equipment, but most of the staff is friendly. They all do a pretty good job at the Kids Club with making sure the children are safe
The equipment is decent, missing some exercise equipment compared to other LA fitness locations, but that's just because it's a smaller location. There's no Wi-Fi which sucks because there's no cellular service towards the back of the building which makes your music cut out if streaming and in my case my lifting program is online so it takes a while to load the next workout. Having Wi-Fi here would definitely help the experience, even other members and staff have expressed they wish there was a free wifi source so that the hours of mind numbing cardio could be eased with a wifi connection instead of spotty cellular service because of the building.

All LA Fitness clubs are not created equal, and this one is a little less equal than others nearby (Fairwood and The Landing). There's usually trash blowing around on the sidewalk right in front of the place, and just doesn't seem as spiffy as other clubs. It's a smaller installation, not their fault, not enhancing either.
I suggest to all LA Fitness to post a map of their weight machines, at least a general one.
The atmosphere was uncomfortable. The equipment send dated and unkept, some displayed quite a bit of rust. The benches next to the dumbbells were awkwardly tall and could not be moved. If you are looking to deadlift it lift heavy, I would not recommend this location. It will do for a quick workout, I will not be returning to this location.
Nice, clean, and frequent classes. I'm normally there in the evenings after work, and even though it's busy there's still plenty of machines. You may need to wait for some of the weight machines, but there's enough variety that you can always hop on something else.
Old facility. Dirty carpet. Poor air circulation...smells like stinky. No tv's on equip. Tiny tv's hanging...so small u cannot see. Needs major overhaul
The staff is awesome and they gave me a5 day free pass since I'm only in town for work
I like this gym. Both Victoria at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. Nick in the membership department was flexible and helpful. I joined for the pool which is warm and big. So far, I am very happy here.
Love the variety of classes. Too much Zumba, however.
