There's plenty of space and equipment. The people are nice in answering any questions you may have.

Good gym hygiene etiquette fostered with multiple towels and antiviral & antibacterial spray stations. Multiple exercise classes daily weekdays. Professional staff behavior demonstrated always.

This is a small floorplan. No classes. So many dust bunnies I cannot do floor exercises. Even after alerting the staff all excuses imagined was spouted. However, every day there is animal hair and dust under the equipment, in the corners and along the walls!

Staff is nice, equipment is good and clean and they got brand new tankless water heaters thanks to Ostrom plumbing.

The new "trainer" sucks. She just tells you to use all the machines when you consult with her, instead of helping you with a workout tailored to you like the previous trainers did. Im going to the "Y".

To whomever stole my new shoes and my Garmin Forerunner 230 while I was taking a shower on Saturday night. I hope you enjoy them and they bring whatever suffering you are experiencing at least a lil relief.

There was only me, a female and one of your employees there so it shouldn't be too much trouble. And yes I take responsibility for not locking my stuff up. Dumb.

You guys really need to lower the temperature. You guys don't have any fans either and keeping the temp at 68 doesn't make it cool enough when you have the amount of body heat that the gym brings. Please consider lowering the temp or bringing in some fans!

I came here with a friend and worked out several times. Staff was always friendly and ready to help me with any questions I had. Facility's are limited to machines with a few free weight setups and the standard dumb bells but the verity of machines is enough to get a good pump in.

Between the 2 planet fitness here in Roanoke this one is by far the best one. The staff is super personable, understands all mechanics, knowledgeable. Willing to help out and won't go out of their way to make you feel uncomfortable. I say that bc the orange ave staff needs some fine tuning.

Looks nice and has nice equipment. Employees are good until you try to cancel. Planet Fitness is most definitely about getting your money. I called and tried to cancel but you must go in and sign to cancel. After a couple minutes the guy clearly intentionally hung up on me like he had better things to do. The staff are fine but really should have the manager cancel your account in case you want to make any complaints. I told the manager today I wanted to cancel my account and she passed me on to someone else. They weren't too concerned with me cancelling or that someone hung up on me. No receipt to say I cancelled. Now I will have to check both bank accounts for two months to make sure they don't take money. If I have to sign, I should get a copy of some sort.
I signed up, had a trainer tell me what machines to use. Did what I was suppose to but after a month or two of no results I stopped going often until I stopped completely. It would be nice if after half a year of no activity they could call to help you get going again or remind you to cancel. I don't have a email with them so not sure if they send emails similar to this. They are okay, wish it worked out but it didn't so I lost money with em.

Definitely worth the black card membership, being able to go anywhere, anytime. You can't beat the PF price structure. One gripe about this location - it looks clean, but isn't as sanitary as it should be. The spray bottles to wipe down equipment are just filled with water, to go on the cheap, I guess, and that just helps bacteria and germs grow.

It has been such a nightmare to cancel even after doing everything they had asked. After canceling I was still charged and told I would get A refund. Still waiting. Has been over a week

Lied to me over the phone. Told me you can come and try out the gym since its your first time. Never said anything about money. When I got there, a guy said I had to pay $20 to use the equipment. He said it was an all-day pass. I tried to explain someone told me on the phone I could try the gym out and the guy just absolutely would not listen. He kept interrupting me too. I won't go here ever again to Planet Fitness if thats how they're going to do things. I just walked out.

Fiance and I just got membership, everyone is super nice and knowledgeable, very helpful. Personal trainer available for consult or walkthrough. Definitely recommended!

Ive traveled around the East Coast and this Planet fitness is by far one of the best in Roanoke and the East coast. The equipment is up to date, and the equipment is kept in good working condition. Also the place is kept clean. I've been to other Planet fitness' in New york and Pennsylvania where the machines were not updated and they didnt work right because they weren't fixed and were old. Seeing this made me notice and really appreciate this Planet fitness in Towers Mall.

Its the most affordable gym I can find. All the equipment is in great shape. If you're the kind of person who wants to be left alone and not bothered, this is the gym for you. If you need someone to tell you what exercises to do, and show you how to use everything, I would recommend another gym

Going here for a while with husband and we both like it. Everybody who works there and goes there has been respectful and nice. Most of the machines are in good condition and all work. The price and facility very much meets our needs as we just do cardio and some strength training.
