I am not "overweight," per se, but if I had continued to gain a couple of pounds each year, I would have been overweight very soon! Three months ago I decided to do something about it. I joined ZG's 10-week Weight Management program and am now in Continuation. I have loved every minute of it! My goals are to lose about 10 pounds, maintain a sustainable baseline weight, increase muscle strength, and improve overall health.
Dr. Zacharias's weekly lectures are amazing! She's a walking book of knowledge, yet she explains concepts in a way that you understand what you need to do to meet your goals. She is sincerely interested in helping you meet your personal goals and is accessible to answer your questions. I've learned more from Dr. Z about health, exercise, and nutrition than I've learned through any other source during my lifetime.
ZG's trainers have different styles, and they are all excellent. You can pick a trainer (or several trainers) to work with in the course of your program. You will learn a lot from all of them. I worked with a personal trainer (1-1) several years ago and did not benefit nearly as much as I am benefitting from ZG's training program. I find it more motivating to train with other people because it makes me work harder. Your training classes become like your family!
In terms of cost, I know of no other place where you can get the combination of education, training, nutritional, and other expert professional services for less than $ 100.00/month or around $ 3.00/day. If you want a truly comprehensive program to help you meet your health goals, I highly recommend that you enroll in ZG!
