Great place to work out without having to wait on any equipment. I have been with LA Fitness for more than 5 years and I always enjoy going to this gym and would recommend it to other friends and family members. Nicole, who works at the front desk, is so very friendly, outgoing, and energetic. Her customer service is OUTSTANDING, and I can understand why so many of us enjoy having her here at this location. She is truly a Valuable Asset to this organization. Keep up the GOOD work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I go because they have a pool and spa/hot tub. I do not like the dressing room setup, too open for my liking. I go to the showers to dress. Some of the Lifeguards are great some not so much. Also I don't understand why none NONE ! Of the clocks have remotely the same time. The two in the pool area clocks are different by like 10 minutes.

We actually had to cancel our account due to location but the manager was so kind and helpful. Would go back for how we were treated if it wasn't so far

Wow, I just went to this LA Fitness location recently, and it is so nice! It makes my local LA Fitness in Crystal City look like a dump. They have Wi-Fi and everything is new and the changing area is so clean and modern. I realize now that there are big differences between LA Fitness locations. Well, this is a really nice one!

Wow, I just went to this LA Fitness location recently, and it is so nice! It makes my local LA Fitness in Crystal City look like a dump. I have been a member for many since before this location opened. It has been through some changes over the years. It has seen an influx in members when Bally's closed and a reduction when X Sport and other gyms opened up.I find it hard to go to this gym as there are always multiple machines broken and some evenings it can get quite crowded. The front desk customer service is hit or miss. You can scan your card and bypass the hub bub. The bathrooms are disappointing, but the sauna, pool, and jacuzzi are amazing. Howeverso, I am seriously thinking about freezing/closing my membership.

I don't know what the hell happened to this place. The prior manager( Richard) was nice and helpful. I stopped going for a while due to an injury. I wanted to go back again but then was told about increased daycare fees. So I looked into Gold Gym and talk to someone. Their fees are way cheaper and better class options. So I go in to cancel LA fitness and the current manager was rude. Didn't care that I canceled. His attitude was like he didn't want to be there or even talk to me. Wasn't concerned about me leaving. His entire vibe was off. No worries because I love Golds already.

They took their time to fix the basketball court when it was down.They didn't even replace that part of the floor that was messed because you can still see the wood is messed up because of the moisture. They did allow us access to other gyms tho while repairs were ongoing so....

Gym equipment: Older but functional. Leather is not ripped. Free weights are all over the place. Gym users are lazy to put the equipment back where it belongs so certain common weights are always missing. There's an average of two machines for each workout. ie. two lateral row machines, two leg extensions. Punching bags are packed at the bottom, soft up top.

Racquet Ball Rooms: There are four rooms. Usually it's empty. Most busy around 6-8 weekdays. AC isn't strong and staff will not modify the temperature. Some dead spots in a couple rooms.

Staff: Friendly, but I have no real interactions with them.

Water: It was fine until one day I drank a water bottle first then filled it with the fountain water. Then I couldn't stand the taste. I'm particular about water though. There's two locations for water with two fountains per location. Water pressure is fine.

Men's Locker Room: I wish people who swim and shower would stay in one area of the locker room so the other areas would be dry.

What I wish LA Fitness had:
Towels. Many other gyms have towels that you can take and throw in a basket when done. Many people don't clean the equipment so having towels would help cover equipment.

Regular pull up bars and rings so I can do Calisthenics.

As far the gym goes it what you expect from La Fitness nothing out of the ordinary. Things usually seem to be in working order.
Kid club is ok, gets the job done when you need someplace for the little ones. It is geared more towards the younger crowd. My 6 year old is bored with the equipment. The staff is only there for adult supervision and not much else. My child has been hit, spit on and pushed (at different occasions) without an adult stepping in so he didn't hurt a younger child in retaliation.

After being a member at LA Fitness in Woodbridge for 8yrs we have now become members at Gold's Gym. A month ago my 6yr old son was wrestling playing with a 9yr old kid in the day care. I was told the 9yr old had a red mark on his forehead and the father was extremely enraged. My son has been going to this day care for 6yrs DAILY and when I'm in prep two to three times a day. Or if I go in the morning and my husband goes at night he is there two time a day for 6 yrs....his whole life. We have NEVER had any incidents with Isaiah at the day care EVER. Yet a week later with NO WARNING I received an email from LA that my son's membership was canceled. When i went to go speak to the new management the operations manager told me he didn't care how long we were members, didn't care how old my son was and didn't care period. It blows my mind that because my 6yr old was wrestling with a 9 yr old..My 6 yr old got exiled from the club after 6yrs of NEVER having an incident. They wrote lies about the incident in their system and when I confronted them WITH the daycare lady about what REALLY happened. Tyler, the operations manager insisted it didn't mattered and he was banned from the club. On top of all of this Tyler also printed out all of the other members info (address, phone#, etc.) and gave it to us. Thru all of this corporate offered us our membership back because of how unjustly the situation was...Yet no consequences to Tyler the operations manager for COMPLETELY screwing my family over. Corporate didn't even care Tyler gave me the other members PERSONAL information PRINTED OUT (st address and all...if we were bad people now I know where dude lives) I am extremely glad LA Fitness got their old general manager back because the new one had completely blew me off when I tried speaking to him about the matter. We are humble people and try to always find a solution. But in regards to LA Fitness and their new operational manager and how he completely screwed us over...We are now proud members of Gold's Gym and will take our loyal services there. Very disappointed. Tyler in operations is still there. No repercussions or consequences.

Spacious, but basically the worst respect for local staff in the industry. Actually ordered a manager to call all trainers and tell them that if they couldn't work full time they were fired. Oh, did I mention they only get paid for actual time they are training people. Gym doesn't open on time. and the list keeps going.

Equipment does not always work, toilets stink. The cardiovascular equipment, the treadmills have TVs attached, and half do not work. Some of the machines just do not keep track of heart rate and other items. You have to keep trying machines to find one that properly works. Another thing that bothers me are the manual clocks. Most are not in synch. Bathroom frequently out of towels. I find the staff unfriendly and spending a lot of time on their cell phones.

Workout areas usually in good shape. And there is a decent amount of workout equipment. Overall an acceptable gym.

I love LA Fitness it has almost everything I feel I need. I do wish it was 24 hours and I would be nice if they had their own store where you can buy supplements and meals, shakes bars etc.

Equipment could be better maintained and management could do a better job of enforcing rules. Too often equipment will remain unrepaired for weeks. The gym staff seems more concerned with adding new customers than keeping ones they have. No one ever walks the floor to ensure weights are returned to racks, equipment is wiped down after use, etc.

I have been going to this gym for a while. Facilities are nice. Location is convenient. Plenty of parking. Pricing isn't bad, IF you are interested in a gym that offers group classes with membership. The biggest issue I have with this location is the lack of consistency with class instructors. With no warning, they recently dropped a Tuesday and Thursday daytime cycle class, even though there is a regular class following. Many of the regular class members were frustrated with this change. Emails and voicemails have been sent, with no response. A petition was started to show the desire to have those classes reinstated and the response has been indifference. It has been difficult, more like impossible to get a hold of a decision maker to discuss the displeasure with the recent changes. There has been a lot of turnover with various group class instructors over the years, but this was a bit much. Might have to rethink this membership and see what other gyms might be a better fit in the area.

Nice gym. Too bad they don't stay open until at least Midnight. For an older building they are maintaining it well. Good equipment, nice staff, and stays clean.

I received a guest pass to visit this gym. I am really enjoying this pass because of all the equipment there to use. They also have a basketball court, pool and they now have kids swimming lessons. I think when this pass ends that I will join. Staff is friendly and helpful. So go by there and get a guest pass and try them out.

Cleanest of the L.A. Fitness Centers in my area. But, many of the cardiovascular machines do not work, the TVs don't work, then fans don't work on many treadmill machines. And the clocks in the facility are not accurate or synced. If I managed the facility I would check these things daily. I mean the clocks are all off. How hard is that to notice and fix?

This gym is so disgusting and all of the equipment is broken and/or falling apart. I've been a member of this gym (LA Fitness in Woodbridge) for over 10 years and have seen no improvement. Tonight, after going through four treadmills that were broken, I finally found one that worked. All of the paper towel dispensers and santizer dispensers are empty. It's disgusting. Children are running around the gym like it's a full blown daycare center and on the equipment--I'm pretty sure this is a safety hazard. Management is nonexistent. Time to find a new gym.

You know I have a bitter sweet relationship with this gym.
I'm no meat head or anything like that, but for how many people go there and how much you pay . The equipment does not reflect what the customers pay. Majority of the treadmills are destroyed don't work or the monitors are halfway hanging off. The bathrooms are disgusting half the time. I don't blame that on the gym staff because most of the people don't clean up behind themselfs.
Good side of the gym is the staff is amazing. They try to work with what they are given. They try their best to make everyone happy.
