Great place to train and learn self defense or competitive sports.
Great place to train. Very knowledgeable staff. Transparent with fees. The people that train here are awesome aswell no judgement just there to help one another on all skill levels.
I bring both my boys to BJJ. Coach Joe and his team are great with the boys and care about their development. They talk to all the children with respect and take individual time with them.
Extremely knowledgeable coaches for all skill levels. I started the grappling and striking fundamentals 4 weeks ago. Ron, Mike, Joe and all the other other coaches are extremely humble and super easy to work with even for someone like me with no prior experience. I highly recommend this academy for all skill levels. I only wish I started sooner!

Superb facility with highly experienced coaches in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Judo, Grappling, & MMA. Great place to leave your ego at the door, where everyone strives to help develop others. Extremely sound kids program created by head instructor, Joe Cunningham, that instills leadership traits and qualities that can be used through adolescence.

The youth programs are top notch. Joe, and all the instructors, have a great rapport, with the kids, while holding them to high standards for effort and respect for their teammates. My 9 year old son looks forward to his Brazilian jiu jitsu classes, and he wants to try the striking.

After shopping around the area for a BJJ gym, Yamasaki Academy fit the bill! I started off with the Fundamentals class and found that Yamasaki set everyone up for success! David broke down the class methodically for the new comers and kept the pace for the slightly experienced. After completing the course, I felt NO pressure from Joe and David to join the gym but only had open arms, all the more reason to join the Yamasaki family! Highly recommended!
Excellent coaches. My two boys (7 & 9) attend Yamasaki Woodbridge, and I'm really happy with the way Joe has the class structured. The boys get the instruction they need to develop skills and endurance to be successful in the discipline.
