Noah didn't notify me the membership charge would be weeks after I joined. He also told me I would get one session with a personal trainer and would contact me, but never did. They also want to charge me monthly if I want to freeze the account if I don't bring a doctors note. That would have been nice to know before, now I feel like Noah was just trying to make commission for the holidays. Communication is key.
Noah is also a manager. When I called in to speak to someone he was very reluctant to help remedy the situation. He didn't take responsibility for any of the misinformation I received. He is the manager. New employee or not as manager he is responsible for making sure his employees are aware of policies.
Be aware the first month will be over $100 after joining and maintenance fees.
Updated: I contacted customer support over a week ago and have not received a response or resolution.
9/4/2018 update to my review: Ever wonder what happens with that "email member services" for a speedy resolution? NOTHING! It's a very fast public reply to give the impression that xSport cares about it's members. But privately there is no response at all. I've sent 2 emails, one to the member services address posted here and one to the XSport "contact us" on their website, neither of those emails have been answered or even acknowledged. It's clear where the staff learn their customer services. I'd give them a 0 star rating if it were possible.
Original review: Customer service seriously lacking. As a fully paid member of Xsport Fitness for a year and a half I was denied access today with my guest because he didn't have an ID card. In the year and a half I've been going I've taken the same guest every time and he's registered under my name, he wasn't even asked for an ID when we registered him. Since then he's been asked 1 time for an ID. Today, on one of the hottest days of the year when an outside workout isn't an option, I'm denied access because my guest doesn't have an ID card with him. Seriously, in over a year we're asked one time and because it's their policy that a guest has to have an ID card we are denied access. I'm one very frustrated member, looking for a new gym.
To be clear, the gym itself is adequate, good mix of classes and the equipment is sufficient for a workout. It's nothing great but the price is fair for what you get. It certainly could be cleaner and yesterday the group class room was so hot the instructor had to modify the class. Everyone complained, even the instructor, but the staff didn't seem to care. Today was the last straw. I'm definitely looking for another gym when this membership is over.

Seems like a nice place to get a good workout right? SIKE! They're extremely prejudiced to the point that even their own employees aren't safe from discrimination. They called the police on a Muslim employee who works there. Guess what he did that made them feel so threatened? Prayed. They called the police on him for praying. You won't get any of my money xsport. And I'll be sure to tell everyone i know to stay far away from you.

Great gym, lots of free weights and machines. It can get crowded during certain times but it's 24/7 so I go during non busy times. It has a suna inside that's great. It has a spa that I haven't tried so I'm not sure how it is there. Staff is pretty friendly, although the personal trainers can be pushy. I understand that though they get paid by the person so it's like they have to sell it to you. I take the work out classes and they are phenomenal I've lost weight, feel alot better, look better, more energy. It's great I take classes 4 times a week. I would take 5 but they don't offer that many classes on Friday. I can only go in the afternoon and they only have Zumba and I don't much can for Zumba. To take as many classes as you want you only have to pay $20 a month. Before I had planet fitness and paid the same so it's a better deal. The only thing planet fitness offered that I wish Xsport would is massage chairs.

I love this gym. It smells like fart like a gym should be. It has a jungle feel to it and would make you want to fight for equipment. Then when you can't get to the right equipment, it forces you to be creative just to hit those different angles of the muscle you want to work on. It's dirty and grimey and that's how I like it, no need to wipe the seats and all that because I'd rather join the sweat medley marinating on the benches and other equipment. This gym is hardcore accompanied by a bunch of yolos during dinner time. Staff are great! People are great! We working out over here! Edit: It's not a damn spa! it's a freakin gym folks.
Awesome equipment and variety! A little crowded when I go in the evening, but that's to be expected. Easy to get to
Nice space gets a lil crowded in the evening around 5 p.m or so. Staff is always friendly, the trainers are great if your looking for a trainer one trainer in particular to ask for is Paige, she is always smiling sets a plan in motion and helps you reach your goals.
When the gym opened, it was excellent. But of late, they have slid severely. Equipment down for weeks on end. Night staff (I usually hit the gym between 3 and 4 in the morning) runs between not present and down right disrespectful. From blaring the lobby with two televisions on different channels to taking the gym sound system to full volume. Complaints to corporate fall on deaf ears.
Most recently, corporate decided to install some astro turf and when the equipment was moved to install, it was mishandled and damaged. After more than three weeks, it is still down.
Worst gym in all of Woodbridge. This gym is incapable of handling the hordes of people during rush hour. There is literally no space to breathe in the free weight area. I can't believe I am paying 20 a month just so that I can watch people hog the already scarcely available benches and squat racks for hours on end without budging from the spots. It is absolutely inexcusable to only have THREE benches and TWO squat racks given the amount of traffic this gym gets. And if I do somehow manage to snag a bench, I'm greeted with the cheap lighting fixtures shining right into my eyes like I'm staring at the sun. Whose idea was it to place the benches right underneath the lighting??
The employees are not of any help either. I have never seen any of them actually work or be helpful in any way. It seems as if this gym is constantly falling apart. Every time I go, there is always fluid dripping from the ceiling. This is what my money is going towards?? The management of this gym needs to put in effort to make this gym a better and more open place for everyone, but it seems they would much rather sit back, count the money that they're stealing, and do nothing to improve the quality of the gym.
If you're considering this gym, don't. You would be better off paying a bit more to go to another gym.
This gym has a horrible day care Staff!. The girls there(Breanna, and Taylor don't care about kids, all they do is be non stop on their cell phones, and don't even care to look up,Them pay absolutely no attention to the kids, also Eating Donuts while kids just stare at them. All I can say they're Extremely Rude! Unfriendly ! Unprofessional! I tell all parents: if you really care, and love your child Do-Not! bring them here. The manager(Jason) also extremely rude, and did not attempt to help me solve my issues. I called the 1-800xx hopefully they help for a change.I hope change will help future members. I will absolutely cancel my membership. We deserve better!! Our kids deserve better!!
nice gym but it appears they need more training in the customer service department. I pre-paid for two years and I went to the gym to cancel my membership a week before it expired so that I didn't get charged another month with the automatic renew. The staff member there said it was a $10 fee to cancel. I asked why do I have to pay a cancellation fee when it expires in a few days. She looked confused and said don't worry about it. I filled out the paperwork and she entered it in the computer.
A Few days later, I noticed it charged my card a cancellation fee. I called and spoke with another staff member. To make a long story short, I asked him at what point should I cancel and not have to pay another month with the auto-renew fee, but at the same time not pay a cancellation fee. He was frustrated because he didn't have an answer, referred me to the manager and hung up the phone. I called back for the next 15 minutes to be put straight on hold, pick up and hang up, or no answer at all. When I got through, it was the manager who answered. He basically explained that no matter what contract you sign up for there will be a $10 fee to cancel. So I guess you have to sign up for life. They will always get you for an extra $10 bucks on your way out the door. Know what you are signing up for. The facility itself is great, some staff, not so great!!!
Kids consistently come in after smoking weed and the management does not care. And half the time the people at the desk dont even look up from their phones. Ive gone here since it was opened and its just another ghetto gym.
24 hours are great. Receptionist can either be extremely nice or very rude. It's a gamble. Recently it's been much better. I think they've improved
I was in town for two days, wanted to get a late workout in and was surprised at how well equipped and clean the facilities were. The GM (or AGM) was friendly and got me set up quick. Even with it being a little busy for late at night, finding the equipment needed wasn't an issue. For the price and what's offered, that'd easily be my first pick for a gym home.
Low key atmosphere. Nice staff that is happy to help but didn't get up in your business. Doesn't smell "gym-y". Afternoon is the best time to work out.
Very nice as far as looks of the gym. Managers seem very cocky and pushy. Absolutely terrible choices on brand of equipment. Seems they went with the cheapest brand and best deal instead of actually researching anything. Tiny section for free weights and not enough equipment. Large useless area for "personal trainers" desk. Overall just another poor example of a gym. Oh, pay this much and you can use our facility. Pay even more and u can use one of the others. Pay even more and u can use a 3rd location. If you have the same name then you should be able to sign up for a membership and go to any of the locations. If you're used to the crappy quality in the area like golds or la fitness then this is prob a good choice. If you actually know what a real gym is supposed to look like the u would hate it. Plenty of cardio for the girls though.
Super friendly staff, great variety of equipment. Does. Tend to get busy at times, but go during off times. Daycare staff is really friendly and great.
