This is a pretty strong gym. They have great parking and great equipment. Spa, sauna, pool, and steam room are usually in good condition.
Staff members are friendly and professional.
Like all Utah 24s, they go overboard with the cardio equipment.
Excellent treadmills, stair steppers, arc trainers, since they closed trolley square a busy gym is even busier. This 24 hour is the very busiest 24 fitness In utah. Excellent cardio machines. If I needed s trainer also I would probably want one from this gym. 1990s locker room look. Up to date showers. Busiest gym in sugarhouse. Excellent location . The cardiovascular machines are totally up to date 99 percent state of the art. Very best cardiovascular machines. Taylorsville and Sandy location less crowded. If you want the best cardiovascular machines join this gym. I think more males go to this location.
Clean gym with great staff, but it has become quite crowded since the closing of the Trolly Square location. You have to pick your times carefully or you'll be waiting for equipment/getting close and cozy with some sweaty strangers. Going later in the evening (9-10 PM) works well. Just wish I didn't have to plan my day around the crowds.
5 stars for the manger Alexis, she's lovely and helped me out a lot. After like two months of kind of BS, and lack of communication between lots of different staff member. Alexis the manger was amazing.
We came from out of town and tried to use the 3 day pass. Apparently you have to be a Utah resident to use that? That wasn't listed anywhere when we signed up. Then, we had to pay $20/person to use the gym for a day. The equipment was old and not in good condition. The gym was very crowded and cramped which made it hard to workout. We will not be returning to this location when we come back to Salt Lake.
I transferred to this center from Trolley Square over a year ago and enjoy it. The staff is very friendly. The only complaint that I have is the staff at the desk is more concerned with their phones than greeting/saying goodbye customers or talking with each other there has been times that I have been totally ignored. It would be nice to feel welcomed.
One of the dirtiest gyms I've been to. Judge for yourself. Spa water is green, the tile grout is black when it should be white, the toilets and stalls look like they've never been wiped.
Decent gym, but the men's locker room doesn't seem to be high on their custodian's priority list...
Although it's a bit pricier than Vasa . . It's not extremely busy and has a good vibe to it. Only downfall are the locker rooms are a bit rundown.
Always dirty, no culture of wiping down equipment after use. Often, the paper towels or spray is out. Locker Rooms and Bathrooms aren't clean either. Ceiling is often leaky. It feels very dark and dingey. Equipment layout is a little awkward.
On the other hand, parking is pretty convenient for the area and it's nice to have a gym open late on Saturdays and Sundays.

the SafeSplash Swimschool located here is great. the 24 hour fitness itself is below par.

I enjoyed working out there, I am going back several times a week

A mix of all types of people with good selection of equipment. Also pool, hot tub, sauna and BB court which is great.
If I could give 2.5 stars, I would. This particular facility has a full gymnasium, spin room, additional space for classes or exercises that require a bit more space. It also has a lap pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Generally these facilities are clean. There have been times that I've used the steam room/sauna during which I've had men uncomfortably stare at me which the facility can't be blamed for, but it does no negate the experience and reluctance to use these amenities. I've never felt unsafe per se, but it certainly has made what was intended to be relaxing... Not so relaxing. There was another time that someone was "Hocking lewgies" (sp?) in the sauna which was a bit disturbing... Again more of a patron issue than management issue. Lastly, I partially joined 24 hour fitness because of it's national distribution, so that I can use my membership out of town; however, more and more clubs are adding designations like 24 hour fitness "super sport" which do not honor your membership from this facility and require a $30 day fee despite it's affiliation.
Worked out here for years and had my account frozen while deployed. When I got back I returned and got harassed for wearing dog tags. Rumor spread I was stolen valor because when asked if I support POTUS I said yeah and the manager follwed me around while I worked out. I complained to the manager and he acted like he didn't care. If you enjoy working out around intolerant leftist.. this is your gym.
I only use the gym for the classes, which are pretty good. Most teachers offer up modifications for lower or higher intensity. They also use a microphone if the class is higher energy. I definitely like the classes and the times.
The staff is really nice and super helpful all the times I've asked for assistance.
The floor in the studio could use a good dusting and a damp mop more frequently during the day. It gets dirty with people coming in straight from the street to the studio. They should also consider getting real yoga mats instead of the short multipurpose fitness pads.
Parking in the lower level is kinda dark and creepy so I never park down there. The stairwell isn't well marked either. I didn't see an elevator from the garage to the main floor.

Convenient because it is close to home. Nothing wows me here, but no legitimate complaints either. The few spin classes I've taken have been great
Busy saturday morning. Right by hwy. Looked for an all night gym option. This seemed to be the option. Have been to three of the locations in town. Love them!! A few butt/ab machines I miss from my old gym. But they have a couple interesting calf options I have seem. And this location has pool/jacuzzi/steam/sauna!! Bonus!! Great parking.
A little dirty. Other locations are better. No complaints tho
This is an easy, convenient and affordable gym. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Been there since I was younger. Good gym. Friendly people. Like to wrestling with maintenance guy for fun. Some are ass but simple ignore them and enjoy the workouts
