The owner has left the studio. She has not paid her instructors. She is still accepting payments online for punch passes. She does not respond to emails or acknowledge any attempts at communication. There are a few awesome instructors who are going to rebrand and start again without her. Do not support Local Yoga but please give the next studio opening up a chance. Those instructors are amazing!
I taught here for one month as an independent contractor in 2018, and when I billed the invoice it never got paid. I emailed Bridget, the owner, with no response. Then I messaged her, again nothing. Finally when I wrote saying that I wouldn't be coming back, she mentioned having sent me an email asking whether I wanted to pick up the check at the studio or have it mailed to me - there was NO such email, and when I asked for a screenshot she said she was too busy that day getting ready for her daughter's birthday party.
Since then, I have searched her name on Yoga Alliance - the main governing body over yoga teachers - and she is not registered at all, although she claims to be an E-RYT 500 (experienced 500 hr registered yoga teacher).
She is dishonest, and runs her studio as such.
I do not recommend.

I love Local Yoga. There is such a community feel to the studio and classes. Bridget has done an amazing job. I recommend this studio to anyone looking to try yoga for the first time or a seasoned yogi. It is a place that is filled with love, peace, and joy!!!
