For the price you cant beat it. Nothing flashy, just weights. If you are looking for a gym that looks pretty you are at the wrong gym.

Great old school gym for die hard bodybuilder fans. Glad it's here and hope it stays. No frills just real equipment and not all cross fit fad.

Best gym in Tyler hands down. Great machine selection, plenty of free weights and multiple bench presses. So no waiting around on that one or two guys hogging the bench on chest chest day. Also huge military discounts on membership for active duty, reserve, and vets.

Fantastic gym! They have tons of free weights for all types of exercises. They did have a leak in the roof which did cause a little bit of concern, however you can tell the owners do care about their customers by offering us a free pass for visiting. I would recommend this gym to everyone in Tyler who is tired of planet fitness or 24 hours!

Awesome REAL GYM!! From the owners to the members just great people that are more than willing to help you regardles of your level of fitness! Lots of equipment for beginners, huge free weight area with competition squat and bench press racks, and did I mention 2 deadlift platforms! One of the few hardcore gyms I've been in that is raw enough for me but my wife also feels comfortable and safe working out there by herself!

I would go to Metroflex with Tosha all the time!! The support is amazing, the price isn't outrageous, and I was a college student at the time. The customer service is great. Even though most of the members are super in shape you won't feel singled out if you're a newbie. I was out of shape and I felt like family. I recommend this joint, go check it out!!! Get your flex on.

If you're into socializing, go somewhere else. If you want friendly members and staff who are willing to help you achieve your goals, this is the gym for you.

Metroflex Tyler really has everything a serious lifter needs! The staff and owners are always incredibly helpful from what products they sell in Relentless Nutrition to actually helping with workout hints and tips in the gym itself. At Metroflex you are constantly surrounded by people to look up to that are extremely friendly and constantly pushing you to better yourself. With the very reasonable no contract enrollment you really can go month to month as life has its ups and downs. Did I mention the great music? That's just a bonus to get you pumped up for you're next killer workout. 5 stars.
