Great place clean. Professional staff. Can go anytime. Safe..richard garcia at mbs Alamo hts has excellent Pilate's classes. Ck them out..you wont b dissapointed

Training with Andre has been fantastic! He is very knowledgeable and makes working out fun!
He knows how to keep you motivated and moving.
I Highly recommend him regardless of your fitness level.

In response to the owner saying I snuck in. I didn't, I gladly opted to pay the $10 buddy fee. I signed the paper work and you know it. There is no excuse for your behavior or putting your hands on us. We have video of you assaulting us and many witnesses. You are lucky you did not go to jail since assault and destruction of property is considerd a class B misdemeanor. (As the officer explained to you) We do have the document that you wrote stating that you would pay $700 for us not to press charges. We will be posting your hand written document for all to see. I will pray for you, and I hope you find some inner peace.
PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE. I'm writing this as a cautionary post more than a negative review. I had the misfortune of dealing with the owner during one of his violent childlike meltdowns today. I went in with my boyfriend for a simple work out and it ended with the owner physically assaulting both of us. The owner's aggression was trigger by the volume of the music, which we turned down with no problem. However, for whatever reason the owner felt the need to keep being aggressive towards us. When my boyfriend took out his phone to record the owner's behavior, he reacted by breaking the phone and trying to push/fight both of us. Needless to say the cops were called. legal action was taken. Please save yourself the trouble and find literally any other gym but this one. The owner is a violent psycho.

I called the police not him please stop lying Jhon and I do have the video of the owner attacking me and my gf I will be posting and asking any media outlet to play it so people can see the truth since the owner is lying as well as he agreed to pay me to not press charges i will post his hand written documnet so ask me this why pay if he wasnt wrong this guy is nothing but lies and deception do not join this gym Owner is rude and its just not the same atmosphere anymore place is crammed and very limited space when more then a few are in gym good luck also owner is misleading in his account of the situation for 3 years ive been playing my music at the allowed volume old radio was level25 the new radio gets there at around 68 why put a level of how loud we can put it and give us a remote in a private usually empty gym if its only meant for staff when i first started the selling point they sold me on was the pool and that i could hook up my phone before or after work and loose myself in the gym unless that was a lie to make a sell but if so then maybe put a sighn that says ONLY STAFF or you would think in 3 years i would of heard about it trainers see and hear my music on never minded or said its against rules the owner was acting like a spoiled brat that day like it was his toy and you can only play with it how he wants lol funny thing is the same cpl he hassled me in front of apologized to me when they saw me at work down the street and said he was rude wasnt he i just laughed and said thats why i left his gym beside the tiny area i stayed for the convenience of the location and the fact the music was enjoyable I was alone in the gym as usual and when he came in with a older cpl trying to make a sell instead of handling it like a polite owner who appreciates a long term committed member of saying hello or being excited like all right we have someone getting it in here you know hype it up and build up that push it feeling or how are you to a 3 year member instead he came walked up to me with the cpl and made a face of disgust and said "let me take care of this horrible music" at that point he turned off the radio and proceeded to talk to me very rudely saying that if i wanna hear music do it in my headphones then raised his voice and said OK first then shrugged and did a frustrated grunt and proceeded to continue with his tour at that point i lost all motivation for the gym and realized its owned by a jackass and the only reason my key isnt turned in is cause he refused to give me back my monthly payment so im stuck for another month you would think if hes so correct and wants to say turn in my key he would refund my money and not make me be stuck there another month horrible buisness owner just money hungry HE ALSO TOOK ADVANTAGE OF MY GOOD FRIEND A VETERAN AND CANCER SURVIVOR HE WAS STRUGGLING FOR 8 TO 9 MONTH'S WITH CHEMO ETC SO FOR 8 MONTHS BECAUSE HE WAS DEALING WITH THIS IT SLIPPED HIS MIND TO CANCEL AND WHEN HE EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED SHOWED HIS MEDICAL PAPERS ETC IT DID NOT MATTER THE OWNER WOULD NOT GIVE HIM HALF HIS MONEY BACK OR EVEN CREDIT FOR 3 TO 4 MONTHS WHAT HE OFFERED WAS A FREE YOGA CLASS TALK ABOUT A SLAP IN THE FACE NO COMPASSION FOR THE SITUATION AT LEAST GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR 3 MONTHS YOU COLLECTED HIS PAYMENTS FOR ALMOST A YEAR AND NOT ONCE WAS HE ABLE TO GET TO THE GYM TALK ABOUT NOT CARING FOR YOUR MEMBERS AT ALL THAT IS WHY IM LEAVING not just cause of music or cause your rude and lost the pool its because everything about mbs besides the trainers is horrible i must be honest OWNER is rude but the trainers are very freindly and helpful just wish they would leave to a diffrent spot. Your lies of complaints on my music is hilarious i play it only when im alone and if anyone comes in i ask them if they'd like me to turn it off ask your trainers and guest so please no more lies

I love coming to MBS for my Monday & Wednesday heated yoga class!
The facility is very clean and has a cozy feeling. The staffs are so friendly, they just added more classes for yoga and Pilates.
Highly recommended.

Had my first workout session with Andre and it was awesome. I like the chill atmosphere and how clean everything is. 24 access is very convenient. Looking forward to checking out the yoga and pilates class as well. If you want a chill peaceful workout spot this is the one for you!

did a drop-in yoga class while visiting the city. it was a little annoying to have to create an online account just to join the class, but the space itself was nice. the early morning class was not very intense but still felt good. mats and props were available.

Love MBS, I mainly just go here for the yoga class! They offer a variety of classes and their instructors are very knowledgeable. They offer private and small group sessions as well! They support local artist and if you are interested in weight training they also have a regular gym and cross fit membership packages to choose from! If you are in the area be sure to check this place out! The schedule is easy to access online or on the Mindbody app on the phone, look for MBS LIFE.

My favorite thing about MBS Fitness is how many different things they offer- Bootcamp, Yoga, Pilates, Personal Training, etc. The Yoga Studio is gorgeous and it typically has really interesting or beautiful art as they use it as an art gallery, too. Pretty much anything you need fitness or health- wise, they seem to have it!
