Great gym. Did my sprint training there.
Place is quiet and decent clean. Maybe men areas could use a little more spot cleaning as well as some corners of the machines and floor where you can see dirt collecting there. Example is the stretching machines where you see old stains that could easily be could be cleaned with a wipe. Overall better than other gyms
Great gym. They offer so many workout options and have an array of top equipment.
One sure way to make sure you don't get any new members is to have someone at the front desk who is totally disinterested in obtaining new business. I don't care that there is no sales persons in the building at 10:30am at least be nice courteous and the slightest bit welcoming to someone who is inquiring about the process of becoming a member. Snooty equals ugly! In any business it is important to cross train staff this girl with her little bob haircut could at least have some knowledge of the steps one would need to go through to become a member or have access to material.
Great place, great associates, equipped with different types of machines for your exercises. Prices for snacks and water are high.

The staff is awful. I left some shorts there. Called the gym and a staff member found them and described them and then said he would keep them for me to come and pick up. Get to the gym and no one knows what happened to them. The staff member who found them said he didn't know what happened to them. NOT helpful at all and very rude. This was not my only encounter with rude staff. Just my most recent one.

Very clean, the kids club associates are always friendly, the hot tub, dry sauna and pool are good perks. I love the wide variety of equipment and the machines are kept in good order.

I went to this gym on 21 April 2018 at 08:30 and found blood on the door to the showers and in a sink. Upon entering the gym on 22 April 2018 at 07:30, the same blood on the door and sink remained despite the paper towels being refilled. Meaning the cleaning crew entered the locker room and found refilling the empty paper towel dispensers to be paramount compared to the safety of clients from bloodborne pathogens.

My fiancée and I signed up under the guise that it was a month-to-month contract, we weren't actually given the contract to read, in fact they wouldn't even let us see the facility without signing up.
That should have been reason enough to go elsewhere. But we decided to try it out thinking we could try the other facilities if we didn't like this.
Selling points were a broken hot tub and a sauna, aside from that you could find the same weights, bikes, treadmills, etc from any gym in the country, and even several parks here in SA.
"events" ended up being run by "fitness experts" aka regular off-hand staff that teach you off a script that you could have just gotten off a generic fitness site, assuming they don't just straight up stick in a DVD.
Their "advanced body scanning" service is a glorified pole of depth sensors that could be easily beaten in quality by a measly Xbox 360 Kinect.
Several other gyms, all inconveniently dozens of miles away from each other and only half would take the membership anyway because of franchise differences. Even worse all with generally the same mediocre lineup.
And this is the shamble they want to charge more than TWICE the competition for?
We had gyms back in corpus that were better than this, in every possible way, for less, and corpus was a pitiful city all around.
The worst part was having to quit, when we attempted to, they finally let us read the supposed contract, it stated we had to be signed up at least 3 months to quit. Or come to the gym 8+ times the first month.
Conveniently none of the times we had come apparently got logged at all even though we had to use our cards.
This has to be one of the sleaziest, most dishonest, self-serving, shameful businesses in the entire city, and the issue goes well past the base floor staff, this problem is clearly at least with the franchise itself.
And if by any reason 2 payments from now cancellation becomes a problem, I'm going to be taking my grievances to corporate instead of piddling around with these blithering disgraces, if not just changing the payment method to a burner card and returning the favor of lies.
The gym itself is awesome, 2 stars because customer service is seriously lacking. The reviews weren't kidding. Even the operations manager was quite rude. I needed an issue resolved and the front desk lady's didn't want to help, and i asked for the manager, and she had an attitude that i was bothering her, wouldn't even say hello. Aaron, works front desk, he has awesome customer service, kudos you him, everyone else...unbelievable.
I've had a membership here for two years, thinking I was moving I canceled my membership Dec 24th. Now Jan 5th, job transfer didn't come threw.. so I go back in to rejoin. Density the sales lady.. tells me I now have to pay first and last ( which im cool with) but now a 50.00 sign up fee, on top of the 99. Bucks for the gold gym challenge.
I ask her to waive the 50 dollar sign up fee, since I've never missed a payment for two years, will sign up to take the Golds gym challenge at 99.bucks and will pay for personal training, at the price of 99.00 bucks for two sessions.. on top of that. She laughs and says no.. I can't do that. (She lost a sale worth over 500.00 bucks.. for 49.99. !!!)
What happened to customer service??!! .... this company doesn't care about there members, or how much you've spent with them.
Do yourself a favor, and go to any other gym.. these greedy bastards.. just want your money.
I have a Gold's Gym membership that let's me have access to several locations in town. This is by far THE BEST location! I love the indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool. There's always availability during the day on machines. Staff is friendly. Clean amenities. Love it! I've lost 58lbs since May! I love my Gold's Gym!

I had to cancel my old membership, purchase a newer (more expensive) one, then had to wait forever while she called another London to find out how to do what she was doing. I ended up having to skip my workout that day entirely because of how long the process took and not once did she even smile throughout the process. I'm currently searching for another gym franchise to give my money to.
The actual fitness portion of this gym is excellent. Unfortunately, the kids club management is terrible. Always extremely rude and condescending. We've tried over and over to give this gym a chance but are let down by the kids club supervisor everytime. Even with only one child in the kids club it just seems like a huge inconvenience for this specific manager to have to do any sort of work. Maybe she would do better in a position in which she does not have to deal with children or people in general. I will never trust leaving our daughter here at this location again.
I haven't had issues with this gym. I like it. It's convenient for me, clean, the pool area is well kept. I do wish like many others it opened until later. It closes way too early over the weekend.
The mgt. that signs you up to become a member lied to me and other friends stating that its easy to cancel membership. I believed her when she said all you have to do is come in and cancel. NOT TRUE have to pay out contract. Only worked out once not happy at all!! Refused to cancel got collector to pay. Stated that he has heard this more than once with Gold Gyms. Still fighting I believe it was false advertising !!!

It's nice but small, and the staff are okay I guess. The kind to not greet you and just stand there while you wait for them to scan your card so you can get in. Had to update score from 3 to 2 stars. Kids Club staff did not seem to know what they are doing. I have been taking the kids here for over a year and suddenly they need to see a kids pass and I need to pay an extra fee? That's not what I was told when I signed the paperwork. Membership cancelled
