This place is GREAT! I have a two year old boy and we bring him here to this location every Saturday to play, jump, learn coordination and to socialize around other kiddos his age. The instructors are young but experienced and have an energy level I cannot emulate! It's obvious they love their job and although it must have its challenges, working with little ones all the time, they don't show it :-) I love that my baby can go to The Little Gym Round Rock and work off some energy in a safe environment. We get to run and play with him there as well, so it's interactive for the parents, too, and in these early years, I find it so valuable to spend this precious time with him while he learns fun things.

The staff- especially Miss Amy, who I've dealt with the most- as well as Miss Kelly are professional, sweet, accommodating and attentive. They make your child feel great and are very hands on. How in the world they can remember every child's name every weekend is beyond me! We also love that there are events throughout the month for members which have been super fun- the Halloween Boo Bash was so great!

In addition, they keep the place as clean and germ-free as possible (which is tough with so many kids!). They have a bathroom with a changing station, plenty of books and toys in the waiting area and fun decor to keep the place in season.

They do a great job here and it's a fantastic place to bring your child.

Great for kids

My children love this place, and particularly Miss Amy. She is a friendly, fun and attentive teacher. My youngest is probably the youngest child in class and prefers to do his own thing over following instructions, and rather than pressuring him to sit still or pay attention, they allow him to explore (as long as it's safe). Most of the teachers are very accommodating. For example, my youngest was afraid of the loud music and the teachers stopped the loud music so he could participate.

I truly commend the teachers for making a point to know every child's name. TLG classes are marked with positive encouragement on a personal and group level. At the end of class, the lead teacher comes out to give a brief recap of what the class did and also speaks to each child's parents about their progress or development.

This is not, however, a dance or a martial arts academy. The goal is not for children to master a form of art here, but to keep them entertained and moving while exploring and becoming confident with body movements.

My 4yo had a blast! We signed her up for the class that has a mix of tap, dance, and gymnastics. It was a full hour with Ms Amy, and by the end my little one was exhausted! They had tap shoes to lend out for newcomers like us, which was super convenient; needless to say we have already started our search for her own pair. Their energy and fun have turned us into regulars at this location.

We LOVE The Little Gym! Our 1 year old son loves his Bird class and so do we! We even scheduled his class on Saturday so my husband and I could both attend together. His teacher, Ms. Amy is GREAT and all other staff I've ever encountered have been equally enthusiastic and sweet. The facility is always clean and welcoming. We just enrolled in the next session and plan to be members for a long time!

My son and daughter attend classes at the Little Gym of Round Rock - we ABSOLUTELY love it and completely recommend this location and it's teachers!

My daughter takes a parent & child Ballet/Gymnastics class with Miss Leah. The first part of the class is dedicated to Ballet, where the kids learn basic ballet moves and begin to learn participation independent of their caregiver. Then they move on to the bigger gym, where they learn Gymnastics such as how to properly do a forward roll, assisted "flips" on the bar, various climbing "tricks" and the balance beam. The caregivers attending the class with the child, are expected to assist & spot their children during the independent exploration time, while the instructor provides guidance and 1:1 spotting of each child during the stations that the children go through one at a time. Lauren loves this class and is always one of the first to volunteer when the teacher requests one of the students to demonstrate a new gymnastics move. She completely trusts her teacher and will even request that Miss Leah will assist her in the trick she is trying to do and NOT Mommy!

My son attends the Sports class with Mr. Johnny. In this class, they cycle through various sports during the session as well as incorporate various gymnastics skills (similar to those listed above, but more complicated moves). During each station, the teacher pulls one child off at a time to learn specifics about the sport or the new gymnastics move. During this time, since the children are older, they are allowed to explore and practice on two other stations that the instructor has set up and provided instruction on what to and how to do it. My son has always been hesitant to try new things, but he trusts Mr. Johnny implicitly and will attempt anything that is thrown his way. I love that he has such a great relationship with his teacher and his confidence has grown with leaps and bounds during the 9 months he has been in the class.

Both kids also attend the weekly drop in sessions provided by the Little Gym. These practice sessions are GREAT for reinforcing the gymnastics that they have learned in their respective classes earlier in the week. Also, even though I have specifically called out the "main" teachers my kids have had, from time to time a substitute has filled in and we get the same great attention and experience, every single session.

My kids love it here. The teachers are fantastic, they have a great attitude. I know how hard it can be dealing with kids and they handle it really well.
