David is a class act here. I attended the newer late morning time, which he said has been filled with beginners looking to progress to doing prescribed workouts. With a group of 6 people, David was constantly giving pointers and seeking multiple ways to communicate proper form. We worked on squats, mobility and then did a quick 10 minute WOD. While not the high intensity, punishment-or-failure, flat on the floor workout that I have seen elsewhere, David had a concern for the quality of the workout for every athlete in his gym. I absolutely got more out of his workout through coaching and encouragement than I have seen at almost any other gym. Great place to visit if, like me, you are an experienced athlete seeking a diverse perspective on Crossfit.

I can't speak highly enough of CrossFit F.M.S. They say Cross Fit is a community but after spending 8 months with this group it is truly more of a family environment. Everyone there is so supportive it's contagious. There are morning I wake up soar and don't want to go, but I push myself. I feel a obligation to my coaches and to everyone in there who helps push me along. Doesn't matter if your the least experienced cross fitter or have years of experience the people in CrossFit FMS are so helpful. Personally I'm proud to call this my home box.

Coach Barnett is one of the most knowledgeable people I have met on nutrition and believe me I have picked his brain plenty. He doesn't shove anything down your throat, but if you ask him questions he'll do is best to answer them. There is no telling how many emails I've sent him asking him various nutrition questions. David never quits coaching and trying to help people. I've seen him help athletes with form from those new to the box to those that have been going for some time. It's quite impressive actually how he walks around with this serious face watching over all his clients. He is our head shepard. It's not all work and no play though. He cuts up and gives a good laugh from time to time. I love the way his "WODs" always include a great warm up and plenty of stretching. There are 4 other coaches that help out with the WOD in the event Coach David is unable to be there. All 4 in my opinion are more than capable, experienced, and trained to lead crossfit classes.

I can't imagine being part of a greater group of people. In the last 8 months I've gained more flexibility and strength than I could have ever imagined. Coach Barnett and the other coaches have showed me there is so much more in me than I could have ever dreamed of. CrossFit F.M.S isn't a crossfit community..........it's a crossfit family!

Of all the Crossfit gyms I've been a part of, this one is by far the best I've ever been to! Mark and all the coaches are friendly, supportive, always available for questions and give great instruction. The people who attend the workouts are also friendly and it feels more like a family than a place where you just go to get in a work out. This is the longest I've ever stuck with a gym and I feel like I've finally found my place! I highly recommend it!
