I like coming to this gym the location is close to my work place.
Nice staff great instructors for group classes. Classes after work starts 545. Nice machines new HIIT classes.
Some cons: old and tired locker rooms and no changing area. Have to change inside restroom or shower.
I got a guest pass for a week but it only took me a day to decide this wasn't the place for me. Here is my honest review listed by pros and cons.
Pro - machines in good condition
Pro - clean facility
Con - very limited amount of benches
Con - very cramped free weight area
Con - they remodeled this gym recently but stopped half way to the bathrooms and didn't bother to finish painting the pool walls. It looked extremely tacky and the difference was stark.
All in all it is an okay gym but I'll stick with Fitness Connection. Similar equipment, more floor space, and a better price.
They could really use "some money" to update and maintain the bathroom stalls and the showers. I am not even sure they even clean the showers...its kind of gross. However, the layout of the gym is good and plenty of space i believe because they are 2 other LA fitnesses close by and it seems reduce the crowding. I also really like the HIIT classes.
This is a good LA Fitness location. I travel the entire Metroplex and visit LA Fitnesses all the time, and this is the nicest one I have visited. It is clean, modern, good equipment, and looks nice inside. The person at the front desk was nice. There are some cute girls here too.
I've been to a few dozen LA Fitness locations in DFW and out of state. This location has a locker room that has a strong odor of mold. Their warm up mats could be arranged better. They do have Matrix stair climbers which I prefer to Stairmaster. This location has the typical design with most cardio aloft and weights and machines on the first floor. I did like all the open space in front of the Matrix stair climbers. The sauna was not very hot for breaking a sweat quickly. This has become my location close to work and I'll will return.
I go for PT and my trainer is awesome! Very lucky and the workouts leave you breathless for sure!

Really just an average LA. It's near my house which is nice, but it's not in the best shape compared to others nearby.
I have been attending this gym since the doors were first opened. The gym now has a poor management staff who will willingly tell you how much experience they have. A person in a position for a lengthy time does not equate to quality. The restrooms are ALWAYS filthy. The mens locker area has recently paired up with a combination of disgusting walls, smelly carpet and towels strewn out all over. The machines are now 10 years old so many are giving out or on their way to the weight room grave sites that they belong. The bonuses are that outside of the locker area and the 20% of faulty, or busted equipment, the rest of the gym is usable and this is why I give the facility 2 stars. The locker area feels like a health hazard. No messing.

Their WiFi offering Is top-notch! Many of the other locations Do not have this.
It's average, not worth the money I pay for monthly. This place does need a deep cleaning or deep haul . The thing about the stair masters having a stink to them is very true. Staff there does not maintain cleanliness as they should. I usually drive a bit farther to the highland village one . Even though they don't have as much equipment they maintain it clean. Might consider going to lifetime fitness if this does not change.

Nice gym. Nice pool. Basic lobby and bar.
We take swimming lessons here. Pool is not super duper crowded which I like. Hopefully it won't get crowded because I posted this lol.
The men's bathroom is not kept up but it doesn't help with people throw their paper towels in the floor because they don't want to bring their towels and management does nothing about it
Very clean and large facility. The machines seem to be functionally 99.5% of the time, which is excellent. The staff is courteous. I seldom go a peak times, so I don't know how crowded it gets. I get there at about 7pm and the there are plenty of empty machines and empty space to get a very good workout.
The hot tub, pool, locker rooms, and sauna are clean. There is no towel service here, so bring your own towels. Not a big deal, but I do wish they had towel service.
I've had things stolen out of my locker there, so bring a lock if you use the lockers. People suck, this LAF does not. So I blame the people not that place. Just remember to use a lock.
There is not enough room for floor exercises. Pool is always cold.

Update: I had signed up for Personal Training in July 2016, with a year-long contract, and had a decent experience. Come July 2017, after I had used up my sessions, the trainer just stopped speaking to me: didn't text me, didn't encourage me to renew my contract, nothing. I started to get billed monthly, and I requested it be cancelled and be refunded; the PT manager told me they would "freeze" my account, but that I couldn't get a refund.
I began going to the Carrollton LA Fitness (closer to home), and explained the leftover sessions and the "freeze" on my PT account. The PT manager told me that Lewisville had lied about the ability to freeze, and that they were still charging me. So I cancelled Lewisville.
TLDR: Lewisville lied about canceling my PT and kept charging me. I won't be back.
Aaron was amazing and super friendly and helpful , first time in Texas and they were super friendly. Workout equipment and free weight area better than any gym back home in Minnesota . Thank you guys for being so welcoming and kind
Been a member for 3 years. Recently moved to this area and began using this gym. Have noticed big differences between this gym and other LA Fitness gyms. Here are some concerns...
1.)Today, we spotted another roach crawling around the gym weight handles. Luckily, another gym member spotted it to and she contacted the front desk about it and they never addressed the situation. A gym member decided to kill the roach with a weight triceps handle which was gross.I can only winder who used that dirty equipment after.The roach was left stuck on the wall.
We went back to check on the front desk attendant and she was asleep at desk. Literally, with her head on the counter and eyes closed as we walked out. This was not what LA Fitness members that pay good money for membership should expect from management.
2.) Since I transferred to this gym, I have yet to see the treadmills or step climbers wiped down from one day to the next. Sweat residue is very visible on machines and cup holders are very filthy. How do I know this? Last Monday, I placed my workout gloves in the cup holder of the treadmill while I used the machine. I left them there and couldn t remember where I placed them. A week later, I remembered where I left them. They were still in the same cup holder of the same treadmill. Hasn't been moved at all.
*For the most part, the staff is very friendly, but I just can't seem to figure out why they drop the ball on wiping down all equipment at the end of the night. This is not something I expect from LA Fitness.
This is based solely on the pool. I have not been inside. The pool area is clean. To me, it is a little warm. I think they should adjust the temp or add a fan for a breeze. The family bathroom has rust all over the door jams.
