She is a professional on training me for past 3 years and she recently add online training class and nutrition advice to be healthy and shaped.
The best trainer
Looking for a change? No proper guidance on how to reduce weight, look fit, maintain your body and stay healthy?
I would strongly recommend Tanya as a personal Trainer. Started with her form 2018 Jan and still going. Tried many other trainers before starting with her. Tanya is awesome! She explains everything clearly, she communicates good, she analysis our body type and give us exercises accordingly.
Not very impressed as I had high hopes for working with Tanya. She seems knowledgable about fitness and nutrition but her delivery is horrible and tacky. She suggested I use whey or soy protein but that's not part of my goals, that's not what I want. If I wanted whey protein I would use whey or soy. Your goals, is her goals. Be prepared to just shut up and listen and just nod yes. Since that's not the person I am, and I choose to be very involved in my fitness and nutrition, good and bad, I had to pass on her. Which is sad because I do think she is very knowledgable but couldn't take her unprofessionalism oh and her poor advice telling me I'm going to fail because the nutrition service she "offered" which is not mandatory I decided to pass on. Wow that was not very encouraging and definitely not gain me as a client. Not that I want someone to lie to me or sugarcoat but how do you already expect someone to fail when they don't take your program that you presented as "If I want it," not that it's included in the training packet it was a "if I want it." So I didn't take it and she chuckled and said "most people who try it on their own fail" well at that moment it was time for me to go. She may be a great trainer, just not for me.
I started working with Tanya at Fit Appeal Training Studio the second week of January. While I haven't lost a lot as far as the scale goes, I've lost a lot of inches and dropped two shirt sizes and one pant size. I'm doing an extreme weight loss regimen the right way. I'm looking to lose over 100 pounds over the next year, and Tanya is the trainer I've selected to help me.
I've been overweight my whole life, and when I hit 30 I decided I was done with it. Time to save my own life and lose weight. I knew I needed help, and I looked for awhile. I'm too shy to go to some huge gym. I'd feel entirely overwhelmed so I know I wanted to go to a smaller gym. I also knew I wanted personal training. I wanted a trainer that knew me, knew my goals and limitations, and could design a program specifically for me. I found that with Tanya at Fit Appeal Training Studio.
First, the studio is great. It's private with shades covering the windows. Not to mention it is extremely well kept. I saw a few gyms while looking for a trainer that were just gross! So it's nice to go to a gym that doesn't smell like old gym socks, and isn't dingy and dirty. Fit Appeal is filled with every type of exercise equipment imaginable. I've been going for over three months now and still haven't used everything! Lol!
Second, the prices are very reasonable. Not only for one on one personal training, but also for her semi-private monthly package which I fully intend to take advantage of when I'm not so self conscious about my weight and can keep up with everyone else. For now it is personal training four times a week for me.
Third, Tanya knows so freaking much about health and nutrition! She is a wealth of knowledge, and will go over your eating habits with you and then design a personal meal plan around foods you like most. I appreciate that because I'm not a carrot and celery kind of girl. She started by asking me what kinds of foods I like most, and then emailed me pages of alternatives that I would enjoy. And I have. She also gave me a break down of what my meals should include including how many grams of protein etc.
Fourth, Tanya doesn't lie. She's not going to coddle you, or tell you what you want to hear just to get you in the door and take your money. I really like that. I've had enough people coddling me over the years and enabling me. I appreciate the fact Tanya just lays it out there. She was very upfront that I'm obese and it is going to take a lot of work to undo the damage my bad habits have caused. However, she also said as long as I put the work in we'll get it done. And we are! She keeps a very accurate log of what exercises we do each session so that she's working my entire body, but she does focus on my problem areas a lot. She pushes me every session. She pushes me as far as I can go, but she monitors me to make sure I don't pull or strain something. She's very involved in your training.
I just can't say enough about Tanya and Fit Appeal. I've signed up with her for all of 2015, and I expect I'll be training in her semi-private groups for years to come to maintain my weight loss. As long as neither of us moves! If you're looking for someone to dedicate themselves to helping you get healthy check out Tanya Peale at Fit Appeal Training Studio. I know she does a lot of physique training, and helping people sculpt their bodies, but she can do wonders for people who are overweight! I should know! She's helping me save my life!
I have been training with Tanya Peal since 2013. I found her when I decided to embark upon Bodybuilding. She is a yoga instructor at the studio I go to (Gaia Flow) and found that she has her own private studio for weight lifting. Few things that have kept me going to her. She is dedicated to results. She will work you HARD. This is not a session to slack off and just talk. You WILL be picking HEAVY stuff up and putting it down. She is very knowledgeable about nutrition and how it pertains to fitness and weight-loss. I was a tubby insecure person when I started training with her in 2013. I am now confident and somewhat in the know of my nutrition and body. I had a sever surgery in 2015. She was able to literally rehab me and now am stronger than my physician had thought I would be. If you are looking for a STRAIGHT shooter and a PARTNER you have now found her. If you are looking for a trainer that will tell you what you WANT to hear Tanya is not your girl. She is a tough loving trainer who will celebrate your wins but will not stand on the sidelines cheering. No she is on the sidelines pushing you to do better.
Tanya is amazing with all levels of fitness. She has an amazing balance of being able to push you to get the most out of your training without screaming at you or feeling like you accidentally signed up for iron man.
My sessions are something I look forward to every week. Tanya not only shows an interest in my fitness goals she advises me on new goals based on the potential and growth she sees in me. As a result, I have experienced the unintended consequence of having more confidence in myself.
Tanya truly cares about overall physical fitness. She has the knowledge about making proper food choices ("diet") and overall health that is a valuable pairing with the physical workouts she provides.
Since February, I have gone down 2 clothing sizes. As an added bonus my courage, confidence, anf self awareness have increased.
Tanya is amazing at coming up with new exercises to motivate and challenge you. She offers complete training from nutrition to physical activity. Tanya has completed in fitness and will help you get to your goals. She works with all age groups and abilities. Very reliable trainer.
