The instructors are great but the billing agreement is hard to get of without paying more money. I started pilates over 6 months ago to help me recover from a 3 level disc replacement in my neck. When my neck could not tolerate the strengthening exercises any longer I knew I would have to regroup and cancel my membership. My 6 month membership was up the 21st. I sent an email to Club Pilates giving my 30 day notice to cancel which would have made my 30 days ending on May 10th. When I went to the club to sign my cancellation agreement, I spoke to Christopher who told me I should sign up for the 4 classes a month for only $89 a month so I said I would try it. In the meantime, as my neck is still not doing well, I decided to cancel. I sent another email, received another call back from Christoper because my account got charged $199 for the "auto"new at a higher rate than I as paying because I'm now not on a "contract". I asked about this and told Chris, I just wanted to renew for 1 month more at the $89/4 classes a month. He said they don't do partial month billing and the $89 a month is only if I sign up again for 3 more months! I love pilates but trying to get out of the autonew is ridiculous. Now I have paid $199 for an unlimited membership I can't even use. Not happy. Again my unhappiness is no reflection on the instructors. They are great. My unhappiness is how the management treats one of their most loyal clients!
