I have had an extremely positive experience with this Gym. My trainer was Lynn and she was awesome!! I enjoy the early morning HIIT classes and love the overall atmosphere!!!
The gym is not overcrowded. Plenty of machines , you don't have to wait to use a machine. Overall good place to workout!
Good place to work out. Lots of equipment to get your sweat one. They have a variety of classes to choose from. The hours are not that bad they have daycare you can pay additionally. The pool is available and have equipment you can use. The showers are big and well maintained. They have hair dryer on the female size and restroom are cleaned as well. They have a cardio cinema so if you want to watch a movie will you work out you can.
It's a nice gym. Well kept. Hut definitely for the avid gym goer, and not for the beginner.
They will REFUSE to cancel your membership. I've been to almost every gym in the Killeen area and I've never had such difficulty trying to cancel. The manager is rude as well and makes you feel uncomfortable if you're new

Friend was told at the Gold's Gym she goes to where she lives that when she came to visit me in another state she could come in and work out and bring a guest (me) with her a couple times. The staff was very rude about the situation and said that it's not allowed which I understand if maybe someone was given the wrong information but her professionalism stunk and she didn't explain things clearly and was just flat out rude about it all.

I was going to cancel my membership due to being I've charged, and no one knew where the disconnect was Only had membership for 5 days. Called spoke to someone they said I had to wait 30 days to cancel so I was like ok bc I had to come in 8 times and fulfill since things to get a refund. Once I said ok I'll fulfill the requirements they then said well after that you can no longer get your refund bc I was cancelling. Basically making me keep a membership.Staff is ghetto and rude except over polite last at the front desk. Didn't get her babe. General manager couldn't speak to me nor the person who signed me up 4 days prior. Killeen gtm is the worst gym I've ever been to. Went to cove and the staff is pleasant, they are clean and organized. So it's not golds gym it's Killeen golds gym!! Never ever and I've talked to multiple people they all say the same thing. Daycare workers yelling at kids instead of talking to them there right way. Worst decision b ever signing up in the Killeen gym. Now I drive to another city just to go to the gym.

I went to Gold gym for almost 3 years. It was probably the worst gym experience I have had. The gym is very crowded most of the time. That can be overlooked but their terrible customer service cannot. The staff are not friendly and the trainers are extremely rude. I had a confrontation with one and made a complaint to the management. Management said it was handled but the trainer was still rude and standoffish. I ended up cancelling right before my deployement and have noticed they are still charging me for a membership not used. I had my wife talk to the employees but they claim they cannot do a thing and I will most likely not get a refund. It is a shame, I like using Golds when I travel for business because they are practically everywhere and other Golds gyms are usually friendly but I refuse to give any business to the Killeen Golds. Becareful before choosing them, read other reviews, as you can see complaints are quite common and consistent.
Really nice staff great smiles clean environment tons of equipment and I very rarely have to wait for equipment very rarely GREAT PLACE TO WORKOUT
The facility is huge but equipments show wear and tear and need to be replaced with new ones. The staff is welcoming. Double check all you sign up for and more so, when to cancel and not get charged after you have canceled.
Finally woke up early enough to go to the gym. I was feeling motivated but was quickly disappointed by the gym staff. The lady at the front desk is extremely rude, not helpful, and would not honor the free trial that is advertised on the website. Lost my business and won't be coming back.
I've been going to this gym going about over 3 years now. It's just a gym, but certainly not a "gold's standard".
Brittany Watson, the lady at front desk that always greets you in the morning with a big smile is exceptionally great! She's always hassle free and friendly every time, all the time. Aside from Brittany, James Pek has distinguished himself as a top notch trainer that clearly takes his position serious. He is very approachable and will set aside time to address all concerns.
The staff on the weekends in the moring are the complete opposite. I've never been impressed with Linda.
My absolute worst experience was in the nursery with Sharlene Cruz... She has a very long way to go when it comes to customer service and I hope she figures life out if she ever plans on amounting to anything positive in it. I don't feel the need to address my situation pertaining to the incident I experienced with her for I have addressed this to her supervisor and the GM.

I am not a Gold's gym member. We recently moved to the area and I am searching for a gym to attend. From what I've read from actual or previous Gold's gym clients I do not want to spend my hard earned money here. From every complaint I've read, management sucks and do not take responsibility for anything. Instead they pun it off on Olof the owner. If every concern that arise cannot be handled by you and you constantly refer clients to the owner then why are you there? Why do you hold the title of manager?
I do not know the membership fees but I'm sure it's hefty enough that clients should not be coming into your establishment with several broken machines. Customer service has gone out the window and most businesses only care to profit. Do not forget you need people to profit.
If you desire to use contracts they shouldn't be cookie cutter. A thing called life happens. Maybe consider putting a contract on hold or cancel it totally depending on the situation. Why would you suggest to a client to get a doctors note as a means for her not to get charged 4 months because she recently had a baby just to tell her again it would be impossible? Ridiculous!
As you can see people actually read reviews and because I did, Gold's gym in Killeen will never get my money.
Just got berated by an employee for not seeing the pool closed sign and entering the spa. I would get out just the same if you tell me nicely. Jerk.
Smaller than normal Golds but has most of the equipment. If you like standing on top of each other while your using a rack then this is the place for you. Also if you like salty people that sneer at you the entire time your working out you are in double luck.
Went to check out the gym, interested in new membership. I walk in and ask the two employees at the desk "May I check out the gym" the guys tells me there aren't any fitness consultants in. I then ask may I take a peek he says "no" and then continues to run his mouth with the other employee and another female who I'm assuming was a gym member. It was obvious they were having small talk. I'm not understanding if there were two employees at the desk why the male employee (whom I asked) couldn't just walk around and take a look with me. Nevertheless policies are policies, the extra chatter was very unprofessional, it seemed as if I was a bother to them. I'll take my money and business elsewhere, especially after reading the horrible reviews about the the staff who I ironically just dealt with in less than two minutes.
Don't like to complain about gyms because I am there to train and have a good time while doing so. But when u pay 40 plus dollars a month everything better be working properly just like my 40 monthly. Some cardio machines need to be replaced there needs to be more cleaning done and a smoothie bar would be optional. Other than that gym is great!!!
