Have stopped in a few times over last couple of months and sauna seems to always be broke. Only a few spots In this gym that require maintenance and they cant seem to keep it right. Judging by how many people are here on a busy night they are clearly not lacking financial resources. Rest of gym is in working order it seems since it does not require money or much maintenance to keep up.

Very disappointed! As the new year came in I decided to join the gym as a New Years resolution. I was undecided on joining planet fitness or fitness connection but I decided with fitness connection. I signed up and there was a 50$ enrollment fee and 15$ a month I took the offer and signed up. I went to the gym two days later and was not even given a tour instead the lady just gave me my badge and left me to my self to figure out where things where! Then two days later there is a ad for 0 down enrollment fee and 10$ a month !!!!! I am furious I have tried to get a hold of corporate to see if any thing could be done I been calling for 3 days even emailing and have not heard anything back. I call and call and it all goes to voicemail.

Overwhelmed by insurance details at the beginning. Out of state looking to use a guest pass, which policies understandable. Yet they were trying to charge me a fee higher than their claimed monthly fee for 7 days. They could have just been clear up front instead of wasting my time and enthusiasm to try out the facility.

Eric Figueroa was very helpful and professional. He was overall a big help to my questions and he's very friendly. Overall my experience with him was great im thankful fitness connection has amazing staff such as him. I highly reccomend to anyone who has any questions or needs a genuine staff such as Eric.

Today I'm posting this review because I found a machine that I was about to use and one of the arms was broken. To the point that if you had put weight on it it would have broken off.
I stop my work out went and told management,
Martha Lucatero and Chris. And they just reply thank you for letting them know. I went back to my workout close to the machine that was broken. Stop some couple from using it. I kept working out for 20 more minutes and no one came. I then decided to pull the cable and tie it in a knot. Then went and told Martha and Chris for showing. Me their concern for their members SAFETY. That's when she jump outta her chair to go look at the machine

Can get a little crowded at times but girl section is always clean and convenient. Love the yoga instructor wish she had more evening classes at this location.

I live in Humble. I drive all the way to Spencer hwy just to work out. Truthfully, I been going there for years. Love the environment. At night time, it's quiet.

Seriously? We have three memberships for this gym. I like it very much, specially the pool and jacuzzi. This month they charged 9 times to my account. That means they charged for 9 people instead of for 3. When it comes to mone, it seems there is always some issues going on with my membership, it's hard to trust my financial information to this company since we don't know the surprises awaiting each month. I do love the gym, but I am not a big fan of the way they handle membership premiums. I hope they improve in the future. The one * star is for the financial side of this business. The gym itself deserves 5 ***** stars.

If I could give it no stars I would. Why are your people at the front desk rude as all hell? Are you not paying them enough and this is why they have such an attitude? Seriously went in to talk about prices and maybe join. But after taking a look around at how weights were everywhere. The staff really pushy about joining and don't even want you to go look inside without one of them following you in your ear about joining. The management on 2 separate occasions never around an I was told on a conference call. I hope in those calls they spoke about the negative attitudes the employees have, the cleanliness of the place and how they should really maintain the pool and Jacuzzi. After trying to give them a chance twice I will not try a third. Also please don't come back to me with some bs message about how you would like me to call you can make it up to me not interested. Wished I would have looked at the reviews before I even went. Will be doing that in the future.

Well I was going to attempt to join this gym, but seeing all of the one star reviews about lack of cleanliness, little to no access of free weights, and rude employees has kind of steered me away. What a shame. I may try to find a local gym to join.

Good luck getting treated like a human being if you don't have "$10 or $22 a month for a membership you will get disrespected when you are brown and appear to not have money. I had the unpleasant experience with Jimmy Harlow. He insulted me for not having my wallet after I specifically said "I'm here for price information." Is this a car dealership or gym? They must be paid on commisions with his rude aggressive behavior. If you want my business earn it. I may give Fitness connection another chance for my health but at diffrent location where I HOPE I get treated better. I may have to contact corporate.

I can honestly say that I love going to this gym it's close to me so it's very convenient. They have so many machines and upgraded to new ones too which I love very much. Every time I have gone I have always had a great experience. I'm going to give this place a 5 stars because it's great but there is one thing I wish they could fix and that would be the sauna by the hot tub. I love going in there to relax after the workout but it does need lots of fixing. Other than that the gym is great

Clean showers r,rude girls in the front service desk, they never know nothing. But the instructors are very nice person there very helpful and trainer.

Its alright. Has the potential to be the best gym in Houston, but this gym is not strict about enforcing thier rules they just post them everywhere.

Signed up two days ago and I already want to cancel. Gym is ridiculously crowded on Monday and Tuesday. This is my third day ( Wednesday) and could not find the weights I needed. They do not have enough free weights to keep up with the people. No one racks their weights so everything is on the floor. Very unorganized. Very unhappy. Would not recommend this unless you have 1-1/2 hr to finish a 35 min workout.

I work here and workout here. It is a great place. Come visit my Aqua Fitness class on Monday and Thursday nights for a good work out, or try Zumba or Body Pump all are great, with great instructors.

Ghetto area and the gym fees are cheap so you already know the crowd that attracts but it's close to my house and I go before 6am or 3pm, if you go any other time good luck getting a machine or bench... Staff is young and ghetto... Brought a friend to check out the gym and the sales manager Jose accused him of trying to workout for free... Wanted to charge him... We ended up going to 24 hour fitness... No real manager around to override this idiot sales manager....

I love these place because has Jacuzzi and pool what I do not like is that most of the people that use the pool or Jacuzzi does not take a shower with soap no even with just water what is more they get in the water with regular clothes or they are all sweating from the sauna that's nasty, the manager should enforce hygiene, the floor in pool area is not clean either. many lockers are broken, they need to be fixed, restrooms does not have exhaust ventilation so some times it stinking horrible, urinals need separators boards it is uncomfortable that someone is watching, they also should provide sanitizer wipes to clean the equipment, personal at the front desk should be more polite.I hope soon I can give five starts.

I've been a member since they opened. Great management and friendly staff. Lots of knowledgeable trainers who workout their clients. Highly recommended.

Gym is huge, lots of equipment. But it sure is a shame not one hand sanitizing station around and very limited paper towel and spray bottles to clean the equipment before or after use. You can walk across the gym to get some, but thos gym is so busy you can count on your machine being taken by the time you get back. Great gym, but definitely need to qork on keeping it sanitized, especially with the way the flu is going around....smh

Fix the damn racquetball room handles!!!!!! We got locked inside a few weeks ago. Had something bad happened I would own the franchise. I will be documenting all violations in this gym and keep a log. I will sue them to hell and back along with media exposure. Girls up front are rude. Hire mature responsible people!! I made a mistake joining. You get what you pay for I guess....

This place is great with the equipment and space, but if it doesn't live up to its potential in the customer aspect. The young lady in the front of the desk seems to enjoy turning people down for not having their I.D.s when asked. This place really needs to evaluate the first person a guest/customer sees. I had many opportunities to tell my friends about this gym, but I will be sending them another way. Also I was told from the get go that I will only be charged $9 a month up until January because I tend to move somewhere else. I end up getting charged $43 on November and was told that fee is a one time payment every year that is set for November. I wasn't told this and discouraged me from coming to this gym. It's basically a hidden fee. I will never be coming to this gym again and making sure my friends don't either.

Pool area needs to be Super clean. Rust and water stained. Same with shower areas. My son and I are new members. He enjoys the gym amenities like basketball. I enjoy water exercise. Great teacher. I see signs to wear appropriate swimwear but you see members going in their exercise clothes. No one is monitoring. Also memebers taking gym bags to exercise area; signs posted say not to. So who is managing the place.

I automatically got transferred from Sound Fitness and they began charging me 21.50 a month and tried to tell me I didn't have the V.i.p even tho I paid the amount for it. They told me I only had to pay 35 once a year for an annual fee. Next thing I know I owe 55 so I pay it. A couple months go by suddenly I owe 65. I have money in my account and it should have gone through if it didn't why wait until I owe 65 to tell me. This place is rank. And Maria who works at the front desk is very rude. I love the variety of equipment but I'm getting jipped and so I'm never going back. Then I want to cancel my membership but I still have to pay another month.

Be careful in dealing with this business. I have tried for more than 3 months to cancel my wife's account to no avail. They want you to go to the location where you signed up. The only thing is we moved and she doesn't go to that part of town anymore. I AM NOT WASTING THE $10 in gas to cancel. They keep billing our bank account that has caused a mess, plus I get daily calls from these idiots!

Way better than the one on Federal. Offers so much for $10. Pool, basketball court, racquetball, turf training area, TRX system. This facility is definitely geared towards lifting and not just cardio. I actually saw employees interact with customers. I think I'm going to make this my home gym. The one on Federal is garbage compared to this location
