This is a great place to learn and advance in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Professor Ed and the instructors have an immense amount of knowledge and experience. It is also very clean.

I've been training here for a few months now and I feel like they have really helped me up my game and technique. One of the things I enjoy the most is that we have all ranks and all are willing to help each other and continue to learn together.

Professor Ed is one of a kind ! His teachings his Direction his black belts they're all just amazing people with amazing talent ! It's hard to put into words the level of respect I have for all of these guys I will forever be thankful to have found a team like this one ! Its healthy its motivating and moving ! If you're having second thoughts about training Jiu-Jitsu or starting jiu jitsu just put your feet on the ground and definitely come here try this place first and foremost if you're in the area ! Its beautiful !

I have been training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for the better part of 10 years and I had always looked up to Professor Ed. I used to learn his techniques off of Youtube and even back then my mind was blown so you can imagine how i feel learning directly from the man himself. His attention to detail is second to none , his patience and willingness to help is amazing. Since my first day at the academy , the faculty and students have treated me like family, the facility is always clean and the familial vibe is present throughout the facility . From the kids classes all the way up to the adults classes. I can't stress enough how much i love this gym . Do yourself a favor and drop in ! You won't be disappointed !

I left my gym to train with Ed in January 2018 because it was closer to my apartment but I was in for a big surprise; it has really been an immense pleasure. I have gotten to see Ed compete in super fights and IBJJF events and he's amazing to watch - you can instantly notice his style and how technical he is and he passes that on to his students. The details he gives are not easily found elsewhere, even in paid seminars.
As a female student I am very grateful for his professionalism, respect, and patience, especially since I have never really been an athlete before I started jiujitsu. Thanks professor for being a great team leader and leading by example. I really love the new gym and look forward to to many more tournaments under Ed Ramos Team.

You can't find a better martial arts school than this!! Staff is friendly, instructors teach really well, and they have many different classes to offer. Come and try them out you won't regret it!!(First class is free)

I currently own a Jiu-Jitsu academy myself and have trained under numerous different black belts in the past 9 years, none of which can come close to matching the skill and attention to detail that Ed Ramos possesses. World class Jiu-Jitsu player and coach. Anytime I am participating in Ed's class I know he is going to take his time making sure I'm doing every detail the correct way. Regardless if you want to be a top level competitor or just get in shape and learn a new skill Ed Ramos is Without a doubt the best instructor in all of Houston.

The intricate details in all his techniques and the way he carries himself in life inspires you to become better in all areas of your jiujitsu game and all areas of your life. Im married, work 40-60 hrs/week & Father of 6 very busy kids. So finding time to train is very hard. But when I finally do make it on the mats, I dont want to leave. Professor Ed Ramos knows how to push my limits. The world class technique he teaches is for everyone. From the competitors to the mom/dad that makes it 1 or 2 times a week. So why train anywhere else?
