This location is mostly empty around lunch so it's perfect for getting a work out in during lunchtime. All the equipment works, and kept clean.

BEWARE!!!! on 7/31/19 I called Golds gym Fall creek to cancel my membership. A lady answered (Pam) who took my information and said she would forward it to the appropriate person to cancel my membership. The payment was being drafted out of my moms bank account. We knew there was a 30 day advanced notice requirement before canceling so I knew after I canceled that they would still draft out two payments. My mom noticed the bi-weekly draft payments were still being drafted after the 30 days. We called again and then at that time was given a 1-800 to call ABC Financial to cancel. I asked them no one had told me the 1st time I called. I later found out that Pam is the district manager. We spoke with Pam over the phone & through emails to reimburse us but she said she couldn't. Long story short I called Gold gym Fall creek on 7/31/19 and my membership did not cancel until mid Oct 2019. The last payment should have been the end of Aug 2019 but they drafted all the way to mid Oct 2019.

STAY AWAY!! I cancelled my gym membership back in May since I travel too much for work to get use out of it. They kept trying to collect even after I cancelled and called their payment agency like I was instructed to do after cancelling. Now they sent my account to collections to collect from August 14 to end of November?? How does this even make sense? Their staff is useless in trying to resolve the issue. They thought they were doing me a favor by waving the late fees?!?! How about you wave the whole charge! Instead of helping resolve the issue even when I offered to pay they just hung up on me!! Take your business elsewhere!!

Trainers are good, and will help you with your goals, my review is regarding their customer service, both with the front desk and their personal training cancellation policies.

Their front desk customer services is very disappointing, the lack of care is truly appalling. I've tried to cancel my membership with them by going in person to their store and after explaining my move out of this location and the difficulty to cancel in person, I was given the corporate speech about cancelling and that no one would be able to help me in the store. Absolute no sympathy or consideration for my personal circumstances to go to that location and cancel in person. Furthermore, their procedure for canceling a membership is truly archaic, it can only be made via regular mail, there is no option to cancel online, very inconvenient.

Regarding the cancellation policy for personal training membership, be very wary as their policies are extremely inflexible. You sign a yearly contract and the only reason to cancel is if you move more than 25 miles away from any other Gold's Gym location, and even if you do, you'll need to pay 30% of the remaining value of the contract or $500 whatever is greater, a hefty fine in my view. Very stringent cancellation policies there is no month to month or anything similar. And also very archaic modes of cancellation, only in person or if you push harder via regular mail.

Overall very disappointed with their customer service.

Dont recommend this place some workers are professionals while otheres are not . I wanted to join i asked to speak to a certain employee to sign up .one if the front desk girls said to wait a minute went to the back and never came back with an update i saw her speaking to other workers receiving massage that was quite upsetting i had to wait 40 min still no update on whats going on or if some one could help me. I went to playground area so my one year old can play with in 10 min of her being inside a toddler smacked her in the face , parents were not called immediately this boiled my blood . I would not recommend!

If I could give negative stars I would. The manager takes no responsibility for the lack of training provided to his employees. His front desk works will lie about the cancellation policy. When you call and cancel they will tell you to call the day your plan is up to cancel and when you do they say you need a 30 day notice so you are stuck paying for an extra month. They are a scam.

On Saturday I was told by one of your representatives that you have a gym location in Cypress, Texas. Today, Monday, I find out that is not true. I'm asking that you please cancel my membership and don't feel it should be necessary for me to get a certified letter for cancellation because I was misinformed by one of your representatives in order to get an enrollment. I wanted to get into fitness so i took the free pass (they lock you in a contract as soon as you walk in for the "free pass") after a day working out there I decided to go with a better Gym when i went to cancel i was told i had to meet the cancellation criteria (go to the gym check in certain number of times a week and send them a letter) i decided to follow the steps not wanting anything back but the cancellation after i completed my end of the criteria required to cancel and sending a certified letter to the manager (also confirming with GG Customer Service) I was under the impression my account was cancelled ..... a few months later i get a collections notice ...after contacting customer service they told me the gym had advised that I Never signed in (checked in) therefore defaulting my cancellation ...after i consistently checked in ,signed a book at the front desk and spoke to the front desk every time ! they still refused to cancel it! Would def not recommend to anybody as there are way better gyms at or lower price!! BESIDES THE CRUMMY AND SLIMY SERVICE THEY PROVIDE , THE GYM ITSELF IS LACKING IN VARIOUS AREAS THERE ARE WAY BETTER PLACES NEARBY THAT ARE AT SIMILAR IN PRICE AND NO CONTRACT!

Thank goodness l didn't listen to the other reviews. I like Gold's gym. No, it's not huge like what l am used to. I belonged to Bally's Gym years ago, that was right down from my apartment. When l bought my home, l made one room an exercise room. Then my mom got sick, so l started being at her home more than my own. So l needed a place closer to her. For the price and size, Gold's is excellent. It is always clean. The staff and trainers are nice. I have had no issues with any of the things l have read, and hopefully l will not.

I have been a member at this gym for two years. I highly recommend it for anyone who weight lifts. The equipment has been replaced when damaged and is relatively new. The staff are friendly and it never becomes overly crowded.

I called today to ask about monthly pricing. I wanted to transfer because this gym is closer. The first person I got transferred me to a second person. The second person went straight to a marketing pitch. I told him I worked in marketing and just wanted to know the monthly cost. He gave me a range of $10 to $30. When I asked why the range? He abruptly ended the conversation and told me to get the price I would need to come in.

When I first bought a membership to this location, we were sold on what I can only say were false promises. Very little amenities when compared to other low monthly payment gyms. There always seems to be a piece of equipment that is always broken. Not happy with this location at all.

This is a smaller gym so it's unfair to compare it to the mega gyms like lifetime. I came in for my free week and the staff was incredibly friendly. I did not feel overly pressured to join. It was a great experience and Bernie was informative and pleasant. I got a tour of the facilities and then did a group ex class. The rooms were all in good shape and the equipment was all working. I really liked the small women's workout area.

I have been a member for over a year and I am very satisfied. Helpful and nice staff at the front desk at all times. Personal trainers are always willing to help, they will keep pushing you until you see results.

This golds is alright. It's inexpensive compared to others gyms. The people are wonderful! Love the guys there! Super friendly and helpful! They always made me feel at home there. But the gym itself doesn't has everything that I'm used to. It would be nice if they had more equipment. I found myself repeating the same workouts because of there lack of equiment. Also it's quite small, but it gets the job done if you're looking for an inexpensive gym.

I have been a member for over a year now and I'm very satisfied with my experience at Gold's Gym. Instructors are very professional and motivating also Staff members are nice and always helpful. Gym is always clean. Great place to workout.

The sales staff lacks professionalism and is very passive when it comes to releasing information about membership pricing during consultations. The monthly membership price quoted to me was less than 20 dollars a month, but came with a 49 dollar application fee, and a heavy down payment (over 100 dollars). After constant questioning and back-and-forth, I discovered there were other discounts available that were not offered during the consultation. Word of advice - be upfront with your customers. As you can see, online reviews are starting to become social currency that directly impact your business.

Literally the worst gym I have ever been to. Save your money and go somewhere else, anywhere else, buy your own weight set and work out in an open field, you will surely enjoy your experiences far greater than signing up for a membership at this gym. Equipment is constantly broken and the Staff is rude and lazy. I would rather throw my money in the garbage than continue my membership with this establishment.

They closed the golds gym down I was going to and was told I have to go an hour across town to another gym and if I dont like ot then I am responsible for paying the canclation fees for them inconveniencing me. All they care about is your money.

Don't get sucked into a contract!! Bad business!!!! They ask you to sign a contract then when you want to get out of it they find any way to get you. I moved more than 30 miles from their neatest gym and sent in supporting documentation. Few months later I get a letter from collection company for 800usd.... because I didn't pay the last moth fee if $34..... no one ever contacted via phone , mail or email to advise me of such. months later they say I owe the 800+........ not a good way to earn loyalty...... do not get sucked into a contract...... there are plenty of quality gyms out there with no contract!
