I WOULD CHOOSE TO GO TO SOME BOXING GYMS 5 MINUTES AWAY BUT I WILL ALWAYS CHOOSE ROCKYS BOXING GYM, IF YOU ARE COMING TO NOT PUT IN HARD WORK THEN ITS NOT FOR YOU, ROCKY AND HIS STAFF WILL TEACH YOU AND MANUVER DIFFRENT WAYS TO BECOME THE BEST YOU CAN BE, WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK.
I love it. I'm turning 41 I'm out of shape and I turned to this gym as a place to get my life back. Don't be intimidated to walk in! This gym is a family environment and everyone treats you like family. They are very encouraging.....so encouraging I prepaid an additional month. The most inspiring thing to me about the gym is the one on one coaching. The coaches are all super technical. This is a fighters gym this ain't 9 round. Coach Rocky will push you to the limits and when you leave the gym you have a sense of accomplishment, that leaves you wanting more. One of most inspiring elements of the gym is the kids! These kids are phenomenal. At such a young age they have perfect technique and they are not afraid to give you a pointer or two! I'm loving learning the sweet science. Whether you are young or old just get up and move. You won't be sorry!

NEW MANAGEMENT!!! Since May 2017, there has been new owner, Rocky Juarez. It's a good gym to learn the fundamentals of boxing, there are opportunities for competitive boxing. If you want just to exercise and lose weight this is it . Classes are 8am-12pm, 4:30pm-6pm, 6pm-9pm (Monday- Friday) Saturday classes available in the morning. Come in and tell us Coach Ray sent you and get a free class.

I walk past this gym daily. It's an amazing experience to see what all is taught here. From the workouts to boxers in the ring of all ages.
Most Incredible is the word around town. It's said that Rocky was and may continue to be one of Houstons most Elite boxers of all time.
Being open for 31 years in a single location is just an example of his self examplatory practices and most certainly his ability to connect to ones needs.
As well, this is one of Houstons fewest children friendly boxing and fitness facility's. All of which sessions are taught by specialized coaches. These coaches possess great diligence and most certainly the highest amount of paitence. These children learn a great deal of displine and focus.
The focus can range from becoming the next golden glove boxer to overall self defense and should not be confused with Martial Arts program. Boxers are in a class of their own. Pairing a seasoned boxer to a black belt in the ring is an exillrating sight to see. Just ask the founders of UFC.

As stated by Rocky, you have to come in regularly. This not a one day take away a championship experience. It's consistency and mind on your goals. We will develop you and help you find your own pace. It's not about other people's pace, as Rocky said. Focus only on what you can do at whatever pace that maybe. Your the pace that matters. It's all about you and maintaining consistency.
