Visited a studio in Tucson AZ a couple of weeks back while visiting my in-laws. Place was awesome! People and facility. I walked in this place to see if it was worth switching because of locations from my current places. (Facet Seven and Lifetime) WRONG! The sales guy and Sales Manager both refused to give me a guest pass to try it out a few times before deciding because of my visit in Arizona and the fact I was already in their system. They would sell me a day pass. Sure they wont cry any about losing my interest but beware of place that could care less about what you think you might deserve. They may then change their thoughts.
Its a nice gym plus the people that go here have some type of integrity, Ive left my wallet behind in the lockers and they turned it in to front desk with the cash still inside , thank you to whoever found it! God Bless!
I recently joined this gym coming from planet fitness. Nice to be around folks who actually come to the gym to workout. I like the juice bar and the pool. So far no complaints.
Has all the equipment needed for a workout. Multiple of each machine helps reduce wait times. Clean facility, friendly staff made sign up easy. Look fwd to my workouts.
I wish there were a little more private activities, but for the most part it's clean.
Decent gym as long as you go at the right time. I would like to see more stairmasters instead of the abundance stationary bikes they have, especially if the Stair Masters keep breaking.
Broad range of machines and weights that allows you to still hit your target area even if the equipment you want is being used. A couple more chest machines would always be great too
Since the LA on Yale opened up, the crowd size has notably decreased. It's still pretty busy during rush hour but they have relatively new equipment and friendly staff. Dumbbells also have 2.5 pound increments from 17.5 to 52.5. The layout is weird and there's no dedicated stretching area.
Hot tub down a while. Haven't seen anyone working on it. Ain't gonna fix itself.

I've literally gone to all of the la fitness locations in Houston. It's clean, staff are friendly at all levels. Unless you go after 5pm, there are plenty of machines available. Daycare staff are awesome as well. It is my go to location for 4 years, 6 days a week!

The Staff are fantastic and unobtrusive. The facilities are excellent and the hours of accessibility are amazing
I love it! Its really clean and when I go it's always empty which I love because me and my daughter don't have to rush or wait!

The Aqua Fit instructor on Thursday morning is awesome & worth going to. She is a great teacher & works you out while being considerate of one's limitations. Amazingly she is in her mid seventies and has had her share of health issues she is admirable & inspiring.

Love working out here, such a clean gym and great staff. Theresa makes me feel welcomed and my kids love seeing her.

Needs more friendly face smiling faces with customer service skills up front when you walk in the equipment is of course new so there's nothing else to complain about.

Only go for basketball. Courts is shortened on one side, gets really hot in there at times. And on certain days, thurs, fri, sun the court is reserved for volleyball
Took the leap and decided it was time to start working out. Being unknowledgeable of how gyms operate, I explained this to the representative. Was told, don't worry you'll have access to trainers. Paid approx $250 for membership and gym access . Next day went in for assessment. Was then told it would be an extra $180/month JUST for one day a week access to trainers. I was wanting 3 days a week which was $640 more.

felt lied to and taken advantage of. They seen me coming as a newbie and stuck it to me. Should have been told up front about the excessive fees for training assistance on day one. No, they where more interested in making the money. I was scammed. Wish I could report them for unfair business practices...
Decent establishment. I do recommend this place to Perfect Bod hopefuls. Just don't waste your money on personal fitness packages, you can get much better results going to a martial arts gym for the same price.

Quality machines. Stretching area. 3 squat racks. 3 pull up bars. 2-3 sets of dumbbells. Roomy.
Have had issues with machines not working. Hot tub has a dirt bubble floating in it that is always there so I still haven't used it after 3 months. Only one damn leg press machine. No one cleans up after the lazy people's weights that are left sitting around everywhere. Zumba is great here, especially Antonio on Wednesdays!

I'm not a fan of the fact that they want to take my smart phone from me to scan it for entry. At the 290 location where I go often, they hold the scanner up to your phone so they are not juggling your phone. This location is maintained okay but much like the people at the front desk, just the minimum effort seems to be used to care for the facility.
Try to go before 4pm or after 9pm. It gets really packed in between. Had a trainer there named Brandon. He's amazing. Super friendly and very motivated to get you to use your full potential. It does get pretty hot when there's a lot of people, but other than that, it's a good place to go.

LA Fitness scams you out of your money. You don't have to pay the sign up fee if you know you can haggle here. I did not know it was all negotiable and feel very cheated. I was not given the opportunity to view the facilities because I would miss out on the "great price" I was offered. Such. A. Scam.
