This is a clean, well maintained, and refined studio, and the instructors are innovative and attentive. They offer some nutritional options, in addition to their line of clothing and accesories. I would love for the spinning bikes to have metrics, so we could better assess progress, but that is my only critique.

Define is an awesome studio providing a variety of challenging and fun classes. I am a runner and by incorporating Define, I now feel stronger, have more energy, and better endurance on my long runs. I was able to see and feel results after just a few classes. The instructors are fun, motivating, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Define!

Define West U has been a great place for me to go get my fitness on and feel comfortable and welcomed each time! Clean space, energetic and knowledgeable instructors. I keep going back because of their unique classes. Revolution and Body are my faves. I highly recommend trying them out!

Good place to get in shape. They push you here, but the instructors bring great energy. Parking situation is no good.

From looking at the website I had the impression this would be a slow thoughtful movement class. Boy was I ever wrong. I explained that I was 64 yo but worked out on an elliptical 1 hour 5-6 x weekly and used exercise bands 3-4 x weekly and asked if this would be too much for someone like me and was assured I would do just fine. I attempted one class and could only manage about 1/3 of the reps and was sore for a week afterward.
The average age of the participants was 25 yo and many of them were struggling to keep up.
Another thing that struck me was the lack of comraderie among the participants. I have belonged to a number of gyms and exercise classes and after a work-out there is always chatting about the session afterward. The dressing area was completely silent except for the opening and closing of locker doors.

When I went to Define body I was expecting a lot more challenging workout. I even went sore. The only thing that was challenging was the abs and my core is very weak from pregnancies and a c-section. I woke up expecting to be sore but I wasnt even close. i will probably take these classes for recovery days.

The staff is somewhat friendly. I am a millenial and I actually live in the neighborhood but their attitudes were fitting with a west u wife but they were early 20's.

The spinning class was good and the instructor was friendly. But if you are under 5'4" the handles and sadfle do not adjudt to wear you can do some of the work in the class.
