Great place to get in shape, all of the trainers seem really supportive of all the clients, they are a very friendly, knowledgeable and focused group. I highly recommend.
I'm in love with this GYm. Just a bit far for me and the Traffic on that route. I love that they have good equipments, it's not crowded and it's super neat and have all your essentials in the Bathroom, should in case you forgot something. Awesome Trainers as well. Leigh trained me for a few days and it was awesome.
I really appreciate the intimate seeing of this gym and the staff members were very friendly especially so early in the morning! My only tip would be signs to get to the entrance, I got lost my first time here.

This place is awesome. If you are looking for a small personal gym that welcomes you in like family then this is your spot. Its a true community of fitness minded people. The trainers are all amazing and offer knowledge and suppprt. You'll get a workout whether you're participating in the fun and productive group classes or personal training. Fitness has given me a lot of great things, but the greatest gift is the people I've met at Uptown Fitness.
Great atmosphere! It's like a community where everyone supports each other. Being around the other trainers is a pleasure as we all share our same passion for helping others reach their goals! So if you are looking for a place to bring your clients definitely come to uptown!
I have been going to uptown fitness for over a year now. I specifically attend the indoor "boot camp/body tone" classes. Several times a year they also host outdoor roof top bootcamps which are pretty fun since the music is blasting and you can look over the bayou and memorial park. I don't suggest attending the summer outdoor bootcamps..it's usually too hot. Although the gym is smaller, I really like the community feel to the gym. All the trainers are very nice and knowledgable. They also up keep the machines very well and the place is always clean.
For 7 years I have struggled with my weight. Even with playing tennis five times/week, walking, eating healthy and avoiding sugar, wheat and flour I kept gaining pounds and inches. Nothing worked. In Feburary 2016 I was so fed up I consulted my doctor who put me on a low carb diet that made a difference in my weight but not my size. In June I started attending Uptown Fitness whole body boot camp twice/week and OMG! here I am in December slimmer than I've been in years! I've lost three inches off my belly fat with toned arms, back & legs. Awesome encouraging results! Love the small classes, personalized attention and friendly trainers that don't intimidate. This place totally ROCKS!!!
